I've only seen this issue mentioned twice on the internet with no solution (but to re-download the game, which worked for one person but not for me). The game isn't frozen; it just doesn't progress. I can still access menus, save, reload, and quit. There's a little static background animation that never ends. Your Operating System: Windows 7 64 or 32 bit: 64 What did you already try?: Run as administrator; change install directory permissions; try install and no-install versions; uninstall and reinstall codecs; check antivirus, firewall; change comparability mode; clean registry with ccleaner I tested this game on another computer and it seems to be able to get past this point with the little retro game starting, but both computers are set up similarly update- and codec-wise (main differences being the one with the problem is a newer Intel-based laptop, with the other being an AMD-based desktop).
