  1. Comyu - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku came out fairly recently and kind of flew under my radar. I download it and completed it. I have mixed feelings about the game. The music was ok and the plot was nothing too spectacular, but it managed to hold my interest somewhat. I did find the art fairly good, but the characters had literally the slightest to no development at all. That being said i did enjoy the personality of most of the characters to an extent. The main heroine and the side character Mayuki are among my favorite being that they carry very peculiar vivid personalities. I only enjoyed two of the routes; one of them being the true route. I kind of felt that the other two not including the required first route were kind of disjointed and didn't really fit well with the story, but that's just my opinion. I'm really curious to see what other people thought of the novel.
  2. but its understandable, since it's only 12 episodes. Well, not all the routes were good, but Kazuha's route had a pretty original and interesting plot and Sora's route had (obviously) the main heroine. Even though I spoiled the other VN routes through the anime, I'm still looking forward to them, especially Motoka route. If you guys call this VN boring, look at Da Capo and Shuffle that everyone loves so much. They couldn't be any closer to being "boring". I'm looking forward to her route too. When I watched her fantasizing shorts at the end of each of the episodes I couldn't help but be interested in her route. The anime didn't portray any character development or back story for her. I'm not sure if Kazuha's route did or not either, but I'm very curious to see what the route will be like when I play it.
  3. I second that. There are so many other more interesting novels out there. (And this is coming from a fan of the show)
  4. I agree. My opinion of the VN was mainly that it was way too cliche when it comes to VNs. Sora is the only character I found remotely interesting because of her obsession with Haru. If I were to do the series any justice it would be if you liked the anime then the VN doesn't portray the story and character personality as well as the anime does, and in my opinion the art style looks a little more sophisticated to fit the drama well. If your like me and liked the series then playing the VN would not satisfy you any more than the anime would.
  5. If any of you have seen the anime and played the visual novel, i would like to know what you thought about the changes between the two. There were some noticeable differences like the Haruka not being able to swim and the door seen in the anime was way more intense. I was just curious if anyone thought these differences were a bother. Also what was your favorite route? Mine was Sora's.
  6. Oddly enough i started after being on The Pirate Bay for a while and i discovered Katawa Shoujo. Thus It blossomed into my love for visual novels.
  7. Yeah I felt the same way. I really wish there will be some sort of continuation afterward, because i really want to see Haruki and Touma together again. :'(
  8. So in the anime adaptation of White Album I was just wondering what people thought of this ending. Oh by the way if you haven't checked out White Album 2 you should. I didn't think i'd enjoy it but i was thoroughly surprised. I thought the ending was good because i really liked Kazusa, but i've seen people say they prefered the main character to be with Setsuna.
