Im in the middle of Da Capo and its very enjoyable. Definetely recommend Clannad. It is OUTSTANDING!!!! very emotional tho. so be warned and get the tissues ready lol. My wife cried for like 4 days after finishing it. well maybe not 4 days but u get the idea. Also started Katawa Shoujo, cant thank whoever recommended that to me enough. Cant seem to stop playing it.

My skill in Japanese is OK. I can watch anime with no subtitles. In fact the majority of the anime I watch is without subtitles. The problem I have is written Japanese. Can I translate anything? Probably not. I wish I could, so I could help with translating the Visual Novels that need it. I believe is what Aaeru is trying to do. If I can help with the forum and website so she can work on translating more, ill do it. More fans=More translators. IF I cannot be a translator yet, I can sure as hell help with the website to spread the word on Visual Novels, to get more fans. I want to give back to this community.

Absolutely. Id recommend Kanon, just make sure its the Kanon2006, the original from 2002 isn't as good. Also from Key, Id recommend Air as well. Its has the same theme, very emotional just outstanding Anime. Anyway, if u need help finding them, let me know ill get you some links

The Anime is so amazing, so if you havnt see it I would recommend that highly. Just make sure you watch Clannad and Clannad: After Story. Anyway, relax, put your feet up, and enjoy the wonder that is Visual Novels!!!

As for the 'sort by genre', it will have to take some time as I am still figuring out Vax's code. Since I don't have access to the database yet I'll have to figure out the intricate details purely from the code.. Awesome job ilegend. That will be much more efficient and benefit users a lot!! Hey guys, I thought id post some pics!! here's a picture of my Grandson and I. And one of my awesome Robot leg compliments of an IED (Improvised explosive device) in Iraq. The leg goes with the 7 mortar fragments that are still in my chest&legs, and the 3 bullets that I took to chest/shoulder. Needless to say, everyday I'm able to get up and be with my wife, read VN's, and just be alive is a good day. I'm really glad I found this community, and the joy of Visual Novels. So thanks guys!!

Hey guys, I have just recently finished the VN Phenomeno. I really enjoyed it a lot and was looking on the site for similar VN's. However, as I scrolled through the VN's I noticed you couldn't see what genre the VN's are. This a feature that definitely should be added. For example, say someone just finished their first VN and it was Clannad. Obviously the logical thing they would do is look for VN's that are like Clannad. Not being able to determine what the genre is for each VN could put some people off. I know that the Admin page has the tab for the genres to be added to each VN. I'm not sure why that's not on the page with all the info. Maybe we can fix that? Or am i over thinking it? Example of what info is shown now: Fate/Stay Night Company: Type-Moon Release date: Jan 30, 2004 Rating: 18+ Freeware: No EGS Score: 90 out of 100 from 3664 votes.(what is this?) VNDB – VNTLS – Game Walkthrough An added genre tag could let people see what types of VN's they are yea? I know the VNDB link is there but Id rather not have people leave the site for the info we could provide. People leaving=people not coming back!

Avengers was definitely Awesome!! As was Dark Knight Rises. I cant wait for the Hobbit Trilogy. Just hope that it lives up to the LOTR Trilogy.
