It works, you just got to finish the common route/your first route. If it's your first playthrough then, it wouldn't work. I had the same question when i was first playing it :/

I love "The Great Gatsby" one of the bestest book ever. I saw the movie when it first came out for theaters Wait, actually... i don't know if i love it... No way... Glad i'm not the only one whose first visual novel was Monster Girl Quest. ( i guess you can count it as a visual novel..) I liked the idea of having a relationship with a monster girl, goddesses, Elves, etc... It was more like my fantasy. i was always fascinated with Greek mythology and their romance between gods and humans. The reason why i was so into Greek mythology was because of the God of War Series. But it wasn't enough for me so i tried to look out for movies related to Greek mythology or anything related to fantasy romance. i came across some of them. still, it wasn't enough because they didn't reach my needs. I needed more, to satisfy myself. So i tried to read books instead. I found a site while searching in Google named Goodreads, searched and read some book's description but couldn't find any great ones. The reason was because most romance books were mostly towards women only. i understood that as there weren't a lot of males that were into romance. So my last resort was Animation and mangas. But still couldn't find some great ones. Though, i did hear a lot of reference regarding "visual novels" adapted as anime and "eroge games" from a bunch of forums and thread. So i said "what the heck, why not give it a try?" i searched Monster girl VN's and came across RogueTranslation. Thanks to Rogue. i finally came across MGQ MGQ series was my salvation Halfway through, i totally forgot about the reason why i started playing MGQ and started reading more VNs and this was only 7 months ago. i'm glad i was born B)

hmm, VN adapted from anime. i guess this is the right one since i like picking myself the right heroine for me. I hate it when my heroine isn't picked in a animation but that is understandable. Besides, VN tend to have much more story than an anime adaption. A lot of animation have cliffhangers at the end.

More VN for me to look out for . G Senjou no maou made me cry when and the music attached to it was just amazing, it made it hard for me to stop the tears. Cross†Channel also made me cry. When i found out who Nanaka really was and when Tachi i cried a bunch.

Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) - The Best animation that i have seen. Yuki: at the beginning i hated him. Later on i became to like him. Yuno: Same as Yuki but less hatred.

Ahh.. i'm not a fan of chinami but i'll probably get used to it i had the same feeling at the beginning of the story. it was pretty funny when chinami started annoying her brother. at first it was a "haha got to love that" than to a (ﾉಥ益ಥ）ﾉ ┻━┻ The description looks great. Got to try it for myself.

In to Hasami Wa Tsukaiyo (Dog and Scissors) - The absurd mystery comedy centers around Harumi Kazuhito, a high school boy who is obsessed with reading books. One day, he is killed in the middle of a robbery—and resurrected as a dachshund dog. Unable to read in his new form, the hapless Kazuhito now belongs to Natsuno Kirihime, a sadistic girl who uses scissors like a weapon. It was unique in it's own ways. It has a score of 6.5 in MAL which i can't understand. I can't seem to find an anime that "No one has seen"
