  1. Does anyone have a walkthrough for the game? Just a simple one I can put in a text file would be nice.
  2. Much faster job this time, I can only assume that it is due to it being started in spring rather than fall with Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas, and if it's as well done as last time (I've only seen a few minor errors in the translation so far, but from what I can tell it's mostly or maybe only the Yandere part of the translation) then I can only guess that everyone will be very pleased with the work you do on this project. I'd like to thank all of you working on the translation and say I have the upmost gratitude for you taking time out of your daily lives to translate this game for everyone.
  3. Well, I finally got it to work I moved some stuff around in Program Files and reinstalled it there and now it works fine, but if any other problems pop up I'll be back then. Thanks for your help guys.
  4. Not sure if this is quoting since it hasn't seemed to work for me before but I'm unsure which VC++ you think I need to uninstall and how to do it. Also the first link you have posted doesn't seem to load, I don't know if it's the page or if it's the site itself but I couldn't load it even after 5 or 6 tries. After you respond I'll try it and then tell you if it worked.
  5. Does anyone know how to fix the runtime error for the game? I've tried various methods such as re-installing the game, downloading newer Microsoft Visual C++ libraries, and downloading the game from different websites but the error keeps popping up without the game loading. This is what it says since I don't know how to get a screenshot of it. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Program: C:\Games\******\******\Majikoi.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. The game used to work for my old computer which had Windows XP and my new laptop is a Lenovo with Windows 8.1. Also before anyone tells me to try to install it in Program Files I've tried but it stops about halfway through the installation every time. This, The Last Melody is exactly, what I said before, please notice how I have it installed outside of Program Files I merely stated that when I tried to install in Program Files the installation crashed about halfway through so people wouldn't ask if I tried to do that (I did not say this to be condescending I just wanted to tell you that you seemed to have missed the top-middle part). As for Zakamutt's suggestions, I've tried updating Direct X but I have the newest one anyways as for the troubleshooting compatibility I tried that as well but neither Windows XP worked nor did Windows 7 or Vista (which I didn't expect to work anyways but I have yet to try 8 if I remember right) and I always keep my computer in Japanese Local (though you guessed that I assume). Also the Games file I have I made to keep VNs and other such games in so they don't get mixed in with other files. The quote didn't seem to work the first 2 times I tried to post this so I just copied what I said before.

  7. We are finally down to the home stretch, everyone cross your fingers that we'll see the project finish in the next few weeks, and don't forget to thank the great people who took the time out of their daily lives to give us this great gift of Majikoi.
  8. Honestly, not the worst thing that could have happened. Still this just makes it more likely that the patch will arrive around the same time that the QC finishes so no real reason to complain about it as long as it gets finished, and as long as the translators don't suddenly fall severely ill or drop dead I assume that we'll see the completion of this project soon enough.
  9. Looks like the translation is at last coming to a close, though because of the current programming and real life conflict I guess we'll just have to wait. So I guess I'll start checking on a weekly basis as of today and as always I'd like to thank our friendly translator member and updater Hjyuraa, and his friends for keeping up the great amount of effort that was required to complete the final touches to the Majikoi translation. Please send the rest of the team our thanks as well.
  10. When you say the video quality is bad do you mean like low to mid definition (below 720p) on Youtube bad, or worse? Though honestly anything below 480p is where it really starts to get bad.
  11. Thank you oh so very much for taking up the task of translating this game. I've been worried it might never be fully translated until I saw this. I have to say that the picture quality seems very good as well, at least on par with some of the better VNs, not many fans could match that skill. I hope that eventually Majikoi S gets a full translation as well (I'm not sure if A will before I can't play these anymore as these games take a lot of time that I won't have), though I don't care nearly as much as I do about this one, as long as it has been done well that is and I dare not judge it before I have read it myself. If you guys end up doing more translations you'll have plenty of people to lend you support.
