  1. This otome game called, "Watashi no Real wa Juujitsu Shisugiteiru" was partially translated with English subtitles on VNR by the lovely eirrir from eirrir.tumblr.com However, when I tried playing the game, they've all been replaced by Indonesian subs. I was hoping to play this game, but it's upsetting that all those English subs have been erased by someone else. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  2. I have windows 8, so it can't be that :/ After trying again today, different text threads are appearing now (yay!) and the text in one of them even seems to be working (double yay!). BUT for some reason, even though the right text is appearing in the box: Translation aggregator is only picking up the word "prologue" as its translation for every single line for the actual prologue of the game (in the case of Desert Kingdom). In another game like Death Connection's case, the only translations that translation aggregator is the name of the characters that are talking (priest, sister, unknown, etc) even though it seems like all the correct text is being hooked in one of the text threads...
  3. I used the old version of ppsspp, which worked with the games Shinigami to Shoujo and Desert Kingdom at the beginning of this year with VNR. However, upon trying again now for the latter game, the text does not seem to be hooking on VNR anymore? In the past, there used to be a variety of options, but now it's just sceFontGetCharGlyphImage_Clip. Using UTF-16, UTF-8, etc.. no text whatsoever appears in this one box (again, before, I had multiple different boxes, with one or two of them showing the correct Japanese text). I've updated to the latest version of VNR too, so I'm stumped on it no longer works when it did before. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks so much!
  4. It's actual translations by real (and wonderful) people - not the machine generated translations. VNR enables people to translate games themselves by inputting subtitles to the line. All the lines in this prologue are translated (and I can see that when I go the subtitle editor menu which opens a new window - with each person-translated line in boxes). However, it's tedious to go back and forth to this box for each line, just so I can see each line's translation. TL;DR Basically, the lines are subtitled (not machine-translated, so VNR is the only one that has these real subtitles). It's just that VNR is not showing selective translated lines that have already been submitted and encoded within its system. LOL I honestly don't know why VNR is doing this
  5. Yup, I've re-installed it and I've also updated VNR afterwards too. Still no change :/
  6. Hi there, I'm using VNR (Visual Novel Reader)'s community contributed subtitles/danmaku in order to play the game Black Wolves Saga. I'm having no problems and able to see the subs fine. HOWEVER, some lines from the characters simply do not show up - despite them being translated in the system. For instance, in the prologue of the game, the moment Guillan appears and starts talking, there are no subs for his lines. Then there are subs for the descriptions following. And this repeats with Arles have selective lines that are not subbed thereafter. When I looked into VNR by going to menu --> subtitle editor. And here it shows all the translations in these long boxes, including the missing translated lines (but it's hard to keep going back to that for every line lol). The subs are definitely in the system, they're just selectively not showing up. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'd really appreciate it, thank you!!
  7. I know this is super late, but wahh a post from OGE themselves! I never got to say it, but I wanted to directly tell you my thanks. Thank you SO much for translating Princess Nightmare! I adore otome games, and translations for them are quite rare. I had a lot of fun with Princess Nightmare and it was all thanks to your team. *Gives you all a million roses* And that list of potential otome game candidates looks awesome, they're all games that have incredibly interesting plots and characters yay! Out of curiosity, what was the game out of those 4 that ended up being chosen?
