  1. Sensei Overnight it is a "psychological horror mystery grooming dating sim" obviously inspired by Lessons in Love but focuses more on its underlying mysteries and how all of its characters relate to it and without as much of the grind and wiki-searching. Like its contemporary, it has a strong visual flair and strong comedic and story/character writing with a heavy focus on psychoanalysing its characters. It has rather low sexual content, when it does have h-scenes, it will be rather weird and/or focuses on realism. It really creates its own highly unique identity later on, the earlier parts can be a slow burn. Very importantly, the choices you make will matter. The Sekimeiya: Spun Glass is a highly elaborate ontological mystery visual novel. The music can be jarring and ear-grating at times and the characters can be pretty bland. One thing I can highly compliment this visual novel is the underlying mystery itself. It is highly engaging and may seem perplexing and complicated but the puzzle pieces connect together pretty nicely. You will answer about 50 questions at the end to solve it, you will be ranked with other players to see how you did. The individual mysteries are segmented enough that if you didn't get some of it you still will be able to solve the rest. SHINRAI - Broken Beyond Despair is a murder mystery visual novel with refreshing story pacing due to its straightforward honkaku structure. The character writing is amazing and the tricks used in the murder(s) are unique enough to give it its own identity.
  2. Recently watched Maou-jou de Oyasumi where the titular princess is kidnapped by the demon lord. Does she want to escape? No. Her only goal is to find a way to get the most comfortable sleep using her ingenuity and resourcefulness, with a complete disregard for anyone else well being. Combine her selfish and demonic personality contrasted with her cutsy voice and moe appearance as the princess torments in the colourful inhabitants of the demon lord castle and you have a peak comedy show.
  3. So far been liking this season I'll just highlight the ones I have watched so far Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei is actually somewhat educational on medical customs. Its also surprisingly graphic. Its a cutsy world exploration show. Its probably going to get boring soon though. Aru Asa Dummy Head Mic ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei is not an anime about ASMR despite what many think. I feel its a CGDCT anime with some parts where it passively takes a dump on creeps Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman I hope is going to take the NTR route but I doubt thats going to happen since its a TV anime. Its similar to Koi to Uso more than just the similar premise, it even doesn't use its premise that much either. Students can somehow commit some pretty immoral actions using the system and somehow the school bats an eye. Rules for the system are not explained that well either, possibly students are supposed to experiment by themselves I guess. So far its just a bogstandard romcom with a lot of sexual tension. Human Bug Daigaku is an anime where episodes consist of random and often pretty morbid facts while an overarching story where the MC misunderstands himself for murdering his GF takes place in the background. The facts themselves are actually pretty intriguing and im looking forward to where the series goes. Mushikaburi-hime is about a knowledgeable princess absorbed in books gets coddled by this prince as they face certain struggles in their daily life. Relationship dynamic between two main leads is basically shy but intelligent waifu with assertive and brave male. Theres really not much that I haven't seen in other shows story and characterwise. As you probably could tell, i'm not very sold on this anime. Noumin Kanren no Skill bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta is the 13413514th anime about "I am overpowered but I dont want to be, now Im forced to use these powers to save all these waifus". Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan: Super Extra's ecchi is too unappealing for it to be a selling point of the show. Jokes aren't particularly funny either. Renai Flops is made by Studio Passione and they somehow blend everything with ecchi and somehow make it work. Character drama and comedy is shockingly engaging. Spy x Family Part 2 is same mix of over the top action scenes, touching family drama and Japanese comedy we all come to love and expect from the show Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyoushu no Nekomimi Shoujo to Deau is about a man who gets revenge on his old guildmate and collects more waifus. Every waifu likes the MC because he is "kind". Classic harem formula. Im really getting tired of it at this point, at least the animation is decently fluid and revenge plot is decently executed and waifus are hot. Otherwise, bland and boring show. I was at least hoping the MC would use his beast taming powers creatively but it appears my expectations were set too high
  4. I would say as long as the characters and scenario is well written, Im sure it makes up for not having visuals But if you feel like you are not up to par in the art department, there are many tools that can makeup that difference, such as Koikatsu If you are willing to spend, you can try commissioning an artist almost all VNs with sexual content in them have at least an accompanying picture because its a "visual" novel after all So will just share some examples from H games which I believe serve as good examples of having H scenes that are sexually gratifying and/or emotionally cathartic despite only being mostly text NTRPG2 is known as one of the most infamous NTR games in the Western H game sphere despite only having no CGs, only character sprites. Most of the H scenes are really heartbreaking and emotionally draining to sit through. Text based adventure games with well written and highly customisable H scenes: EraMegaten EraTohoK
