I met some really great actors like Jen Taylor, Vic Mignogna, Steve Blum, Brina Palencia, Steve Downes, & Ashly Burch. OMG these actors are such nice people. So down to earth too.
-
Oh yeah, there was an anime of that. I tried watching it after seeing F/SN, but I didn't get past the second episode.
I know, but it's my favorite route! And I really don't want to see Heaven's Feel...
Okay yeah I would rather see another UBW adaptation than a Heaven's Feel adaptation. Heaven's Feel was the worst route in my opinion.
-
I fail to see why so many people dislike the original Fate/stay night anime because it was leagues better than that abomination of adaptation called Tsukihime. Which apparently is so bad, fans negate its existence.
I enjoyed the F/SN anime, but I watched it a long time ago. It doesn't compare to Zero though, so I'm really looking forward to this new one even if it does follow a different route (fingers crossed for UBW).
Seriously people they already did UBW!!!

They already did the Fate and Unlimited Blade Works routes. Heaven's Feel is the only one they haven't done yet.Wrong. They should do one that follows all the routes, VN style.
It's probably gonna be Heaven's Feel, since it's the route that is most similar in tone to Fate/Zero.
Even though the Fate route is the canonical story.
-
Unlimited Blade Works, please make it happen.
They made a movie of the Unlimited Blade Works route.
-
Not sure TBH, might be Heaven's Feel.
I sure hope not. That route was my least favorite. They should do a remake of the original anime which was based off the Fate route.
-
Not sure if this has already been posted.

DAT EMIYA REARRANGE
SO HYYYYYYYYPED
This a remake of the original anime they did on the VN Fate/stay night?

Kill La Kill is just one of those shows you turn off your brain to watch much like a 80's action film.
-
More&More is like MajiKoi S. It includes new routes that run alongside the original routes as well as after stories for the original routes. We currently have no plans to translate More&More.
I suppose we should deal with the original first and maybe think about More&More. But at this rate it will be a long while before we get there. If we ever get there.
-
^that + after stories of the girls in the original game
You're misunderstanding something. More&more is essentially a sequel that covers the other routes the main vn left out.
So which is the focus of this project the original or the More&more version? And does really matter? Are we missing anything special?
-
And waiting a bit more
So are we done waiting because I'm still waiting.

It's a mash up but I enjoy it.

To borrow a quote from the reddit topic on r/movies about it:
"I bet 1,000 galactic credits that this movie will be about how a brilliant middle-aged man with a clumsy marriage and stupid kid, gets everything sorted out with the help of Godzilla and a few million dead people."
That's optimistic.

Alright alright let's try to keep our hopes up here, i don't want to go see this movie as a skeptical i want to see it as a Godzilla fanboy like when i watched the other Godzilla movies. I want to go to the theater thrilled to see a giant mutant lizard crushing buildings and people and roaring into the sunset like it was something meaningful and deep. If SOMEHOW they manage to screw that up then i'm done with the movie industry for a while. And don't they dare to add some sort of subplot like they always attempt to nowadays (like shoving some romance or an extremly beatiful female main character in the middle of the calamity for the masses to get all excited)
I say amen to that. What I really loved the about the old Godzilla movies is that when Godzilla was the villain he was terrifying and when he was the hero he was awesome because he kicked butt. Plus that roar is just so iconic much like the Tardis sound. Both are unforgettable and both are on my phone as ringtones.
-
Now THIS is a teaser. I'm extremly thrilled for it!
I had no idea there was going to be a new Godzilla remake in 2014, really looking forward to it after watching the trailer.
I hope they don't screw this up like they do with most remakes. But then again it's a movie about a giant lizard crushing stuff, it's impossible to screw up
Oh it is possible to screw up. Remember the 1998 American remake starring Matthew Broderick. That movie was a slap to the face for me as a Godzilla fan. It butchered the source material.

If you can add youtube video of the trailer to the OP so we dont have to look it up

I am so incredibly psyched for it!!!
I know right. This movie has so much potential to be awesome.
-
The new 2014 Godzilla trailer is so epic and that roar at the end was a nostalgia bomb. I cannot wait until this released. Inner fan boy proceeds to scream.

Every single season and year, people say the same thing. No, it was no worse than last year. There are always going to be one or two really good shows, a couple decent shows, then crap show.
I feel neutral about the whole thing really. There are some shows I watch and there are those I don't. I ask because I have seen a lot of people arguing back and forth about all the shows this year. Either treating them like crap or treating them as the best thing since tacos were conceived.
-
What do guys think? Was this year really crappy compared to last year, 2012, or is about the same for new releases both for US & Japan?

Rie Kugimiya is my all-time favorite. She has done the voice of so many characters and the main ones in my favorite anime. Mizore in Rosario to Vampire, and Taiga in Toradora!
Considering your profile pic is Mizore I have no doubts about that. PS Mizore is awesome plus her mother is cool too.
-
Can't go wrong with the tsundere queen Rie Kugimiya.
She was awesome as Mizore from Rosario + Vampire. Oh and Shana from Shakugan no Shana.

What are your favorite voice actors of all time? They can be both subbed or dubbed and the two are not mutually exclusive. Here are mine: J Micheal Tatum, Todd Haberkorn, Jamie Marchi, Johnny Young Bosch, Monica Rial, Cherami Leigh, Greg Ayres and those are just a few to start with.

Just keep your locale set to japanese unless you absolutely need to change it. It doesn't really affect anything on your computer and it certainly won't make everything Japanese. The only thing in my experience that will change is some setups will change to japanese on installers that do have the Japanese language bundled in there. Even those programs end up installing in English for me.
Edit: Most VN's only play in Japanese locale since they are written in Japanese unicode ( Please correct me if I'm using the wrong terms.)
So how does this affect a translation patch when it becomes available? Do you just run the patch and it will find the vn and patch it?
SacAnime Winter 2014 was amazing.

I even got to get pictures with Vic and Steve even though the staff said no photos. They were like "yeah sure no problem" and I was like "Yes."
