  1. If you guys need help in translation, I can help on that front. Just let me know. Also I have the same question as rotombr, does the partial patch 2 have the initial contents of partial patch 1? Since the links to one are either dead or blocked. Edit: Found the answer to my Question. As said by Casual_Scrub on reddit, partial patch 2 is standalone and does not require patch 1, and it is even recommended to remove patch 1 files before putting patch 2 files.
  2. I'm getting an 'The input path does not exist error'.
  3. Never thought I'd see a fellow AzarashiSoft fan here. I've also wanted to bring their titles in English, that's mainly why I found and came to Fuwanovel in the first place. As for Hibiki Works, I know about them through one of the VN TLs I follow, and it seems they also make nice work. Unfortunately I have not heard of Toneworks, but given your taste, I'll assume they are the same. I think you and I can get a good start and I'd like to help you with your effort.
  4. Does anyone know how to repack .fpk files properly? I tried using AE as described in this thread, however the size balloons to x10 and the VN does not run. Placing the original data.fpk file allows the game to run properly. As for the engine, I think the game is using System-C, since there is a config file with that name.
  5. If possible, can anyone clarify this for me? Every time I try to build the exe it says go.mod file not found in current directory.
  6. @rinnow Thanks for the confirmation it works. I tried reinstalling it and it somehow works now. Guess I screwed up the install the first time around.
  7. Does anyone know of tools to extract .int files? both Garbro and exkifint are not working. The game is the trial version of Amakano 2.
  8. I just found out this forum recently and decided to make an account. I've known about VNs for a long time but only recently got interested in them. I'm also interested in how VNs work and how fan translations are made.
  9. I haven been around for a short time, But congrats on coming back. I hope that all the issues regarding the torrents have been resolved once and for all. As for how the site should move ahead, i think as a first step you could ask the people in r/visualnovels to keep a pinned link to the forums. I was only able to find the forums (and the site) by specifically searching for how script extraction was done. The forums and site have enough content to warrant the attention, it just needs more exposure. Also, while reddit, discord and twitter do beat forums in terms of short term engagements, the forum has more information in one place than all three combined. I haven't yet gone through all the threads yet, but just reading through a few under fan translation shows hows much of a treasure trove of info this website is.(Not to mention the civil interactions) Another one you could try to do is get interviews and stuff from studio's here in the west, for example there is 3 year old article about Nekonyan's yearly days. Considering they are starting to establish themselves as a somewhat major company in VN, you could try to contact them. Or you could contact makers of english VNs and do the same. Or you could also try to make Fuwanovel into a site exclusively centered on VN news.
  10. Is there any tools compatible for Azarashi Soft's titles? I'm trying to get the script from amakano 2's trial version. Edit: The Amakano series uses CatSystem2 engine, and the tutorial given in the first page works very well for it. As a side note, Azarashi soft uses different engines for each of their titles, save for the Amakano series. The 'Maid-san no Iru Kurashi' possibly uses the Artemis engine.
