Just started watching Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo. The anime was meh but the OP (Black † White by Iori Nomizu) was kickass. Anyone encounter something similar where the OP kind of got you more into the anime then you otherwise would have?

The weird thing is I had the exact same problem and it was fixed after a reboot, resetting the text size, and running the codec tool. The only thing I did that I haven't suggested is that you try is reset the text zoom back to normal. Control Panel-Appearance and Personalization-Display. Then select medium (make sure to reboot for the change to take effect). Oh and remember to remove those flags for compatibility. Other then that I can't really suggest anything. I suspect it may be an issue within the code of the program.

Try running CMD with elevated privileges. Then type SFC /Scannow.

If it is a codec issue this will likely fix your problem: 1. Download and install CCCP 2. Download K-Lite Codec Tweak Tool Run the codec tweak tool. Click fixes. Check all options. Click apply and close. If the game still doesn't run. Rerun the Codec tweak tool. Click on preferred decoders. Ensure all Microsoft radio buttons are selected. Reboot.

Just watched Sekirei it was decent. Probably go to start on Sword Art Online next.

Try adding the user as a member of the administrators group. To do this type mmc in the search pane->File and the add snapin->Computer Management->Add->Local Computer->Finish->OK. Drill down from Computer Management->Local Users and Groups->Users Then find your user and right click->properties. From there go to "Member of" tab. Select "Add"->Advanced->Find Now (leave field blank). Select "Adminstrators"->OK. Ensure that that the user is a member of the group "Power Users", Adminstrators, and Users group when finished. Note: You will need to be logged in as "Administrator" (not your normal account) when making these changes. If there is still a problem please post the contents of the .bat file and I'll take a look at it. There maybe a problem with the method the script uses to check for admin permissions. You may want to just comment out the check and ensure the script is running with admin permissions manually.

LOL I don't know why I bothered spending so much time trying to get it work, the game is complete shit. The artwork sucks and narrator rambles on and on about the most annoying things possible (first couple paragraphs about some sort of broom gun were cringe worthy) I'll play it a little longer to see if it gets any better (out of guilt on the amount of time I spent trying to get to work) but unless something drastically changes as the story line progresses I would not recommend this game.

I managed to fix the issue by changing the zoom size (150% down to 125%) for displaying text and changing the x264 default codec from LAV to Microsoft. I'm not sure which was the problem but I suspect it was the text zoom. I'll try to change my settings back and some point and see if the problem resurfaces. I have a 55' big screen tv hooked up to my computer so I prefer text zoom be set at the highest setting when possible.

Just like the thread title suggests after following the instructions and running the game I get a long black screen, a splash screen, and then it goes to menu where the game seems to be running at 1 fps according to it's own window title. Anyone else experiencing this? I have updated graphic card drivers and run windows updates on a regular basis.
