  1. I knew of the JAST Archive, but didn't know about Asenheim. Thank you for the link.
  2. I have a spreadsheet that I use for tracking completed games, which started back in 2016 because my missus was ribbing me about not finishing games... And I just kept tracking it. I throw in completed visual novels on that as well, since I consider them a form of gaming anyway. Recently, I did add another sheet or two to track visual novels with an official English release, mostly pinching from the very helpful thread about it on here. I put down whether they have an English release, or if a translation is in the works. Whether it is 18+ or all ages, and if it is both, which is the original version if applicable. Oh, and finally I put which store it is available on. I tend to go for AA versions on Steam and grab 18+ versions from Mangagamer or wherever since I never know if Steam will throw the ban hammer at it or not...
  3. I finished it! I liked it, they sure did their research on pseudoscience... That ending was a bit hmm though.
  4. I'm just finishing up the True route for Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (999). I agree with one of the characters though, if you throw all the scientific terms at me I'll just go cross-eyed... I get that the theme of the story encourages the multi-playthrough, but I was getting a bit tired of going through the game again and again. Now I'm on the final true route though and it's getting spicy again so I think it's been worth it so far. Really looking forward to seeing the conclusion, but it'll have to be tomorrow as I'm bushed.
  5. A shame. I will try to give it a fair shot though.
  6. Just finished reading Danganronpa and the sequel Goodbye Despair. Kind of preferred the first one over the sequel though. The original game kept things moving along nicely and the mystery of the school etc was pretty neat, even if there were some super annoying characters (Hiro, Toko and Hifumi in particular). I really liked Kyoko and Byakuya for moving things along because Makoto and the rest of the cast were a bit dense for so called 'ultimates'. The sequel for me kind of went overboard with everything. I didn't like many of the cast (Chiaki was ace though), some characters went even more OTT and the constant fourth-wall breaking got on my nerves. It felt like, the first was a game but the second was just being silly and just going wild for the heck of it. The mystery felt sidelined until the finale since no one was driving the investigation so much. Really disappointed with the sequel, but, it has left me split because the first half was so bad, but the last two/three cases were pretty neat in their own way and had me wanting more... Yet, I don't want to suffer the annoyances of the characters to get through to the interesting bits... I don't know. Well, that's me anyway.
