Fucking kill me. Just fucking kill me now please. My moral compass has had an identity crisis and is on a soul-seeking journey who knows fucking where. I don't know what I should believe anymore, and i'm cold, lonely, and shivering in the dark at 4 in the morning as I write this thread. If i'm not wrong, there is about a 3 month or so gap in between Nekopara Extra and 1(Haven't actually read it yet). So i'm looking at the cover, and I realize. There is a 3 month gap between lewdable Coconut(using her as an example), and non-lewdable Coconut. 3 Fucking months. My mind is in shambles. Does this make lewding "young" Coconut ok? Does it make lewding "old" Coconut wrong??? Chocola and Vanilla look 6 years old for fucks sake. And Kashou is balls deep in them 3 months later. Imagine Kashou's home, and thinking about how cute those little girls are, and finding out he is in a sexual relationship with them 3 months later.

Yeah, I thought so as well. I'm no lawyer but 8 years seems more like a sentence you'd get for drug trafficking or something like that. Then again, he served for 8 years, but do they ever mention what his actual original sentence was?  I can't remember.
Congrats on finishing this VN, OP. It's not perfect by any means, the writing has some serious flaws and everything outside the true route is mediocre at best, but man, the good parts are so good (like that freaking epilogue) that for me they definitely make up for everything it didn't get right. Sometimes it's not the objectively best VNs the ones we enjoy the most, or at least that's the case for me.

I just hate those game where heroines have gigantic boobs. There are somes company that do this and it always get on my nerves and i actually didn't play/dropped games for this lol, for example Akeiro kaikitan, seriously this game is all or nothing but i just couldn't deal with https://vndb.org/c40539 or https://vndb.org/c40541 despite the game being interesting.
Well, at least for wagahigh while it isn't to my liking, it isn't that ugly so they may be forgiven xD. But i will probably never play it.

Mangagamer - Best company in terms of quality
Sekai Project - mainly average with some bad TLs and a few good ones (Like Root Double and the Grisaia series)
JAST - Good quality overall if you ignore the state of the first Flowers TL.
Sol Press - Only released one VN, so I have no clue.
NekoNyan - decent TL quality.
The others - Either machine TL or just terrible TL work in general. Ignore anything from them.

For me ideal +18 version would have half of the h-scenes that the original has . Nevertheless, as it is, I liked all-ages version more, especially for two main heroines - Hikari and Saya. Some of the h-scenes seemed forced, just to meet the quota.
And all-ages version is actually well done - if you didn't know that there were h-scenes, you wouldn't feel that anything is missing, as transitions/replacement scenes are handled really well. It's proper all-ages edition, not just some cutting.

It might be also worth checking out A Sky Full of Stars since it has a similar star theme like Hoshimem. I didn't play it yet though, but the ratings are pretty high for that kind of VN. Though currently, there's only the all ages version available, even if there's a restoration patch in the works. So if you're bothered by that, you can also just wait or ignore it altogether.

I, for one, am looking forward to this, provided the translation is better than Cross Channel or the main game and they keep the censorship at the same level as A Sky Full of Stars at worst.

I kinda like the hard stuff, not gonna lie.  I'll take shots of straight whiskey if I'm not feeling in a beer mood, and I've learned to like the less shitty brands of vodka.  I do like beer too, though, but I mostly stick with IPAs, since ales are a bit too weak for my taste.
I'm finishing up chapter 4 right now.  I tend to get easily distracted when I read VNs, so I'm not that fast at reading them anymore.

Procrastinated by playing Evenicle, finishing Nekopara 3, starting Da Capo 3 (for some unknown reason). Finally played through the first door of Fate House Morgana. My thoughts:

WagaHigh gives EVERYONE gigantic cupsizes, even the Imouto, even the lolis. Especially the lolis (Mihiro is the smallest girl, and clearly has the largest cup size)

I think Nekopara is one of those VNs you can enjoy with your cat. ( as long as you don’t get any ideas )

I just played Nekopara 1 for the first time two days ago. I'm horrified. It's like the ultimate objectification of women. They're intellectually inferior, children, dependents, sex objects, they don't have goals or ambitions that conflict with your own, their job is to smile and be cute, they are suited to be your lover, play partner, free labor, whatever you want to buy them for, they're just playthings that have no agency whatsoever and they're custom designed to love, lust for, and worship you. They're the realization of the image that oppressed women across the world are forced into reflecting. They're disposable daughter wife sex slaves, and the entire world around them just treats it as normal. It makes me so sick.

Also, I came buckets and my heart grew three sizes that day. I can't wait to play the sequels.
 
 

I'm working my way through the Nekopara series so that I can participate in this thread without being spoilered (yeah I'm just paranoid, there's literally nothing to spoil in this series, "Surprise! You fuck all the cats!").

Almost done with Nekopara 3, still gotta do 0 and Extra. 

Wanted to mention that here I am finally at the Maple sex scene and I'm suddenly extremely conscious of my actual cat sitting on my leg, watching the game and watching me play the game. I really don't know how to feel about this right now, and I don't think my cat knows either.

My Japanese is almost as bad as my mathematics (aka, pretty bad).
