Did you ever go back and do those routes? I'm curious what you thought. I thought all the routes were fun, but Saya's was easily the best, even if the dungeon stuff was tedius.

Finished Evenicle. Amazing experience. I can't believe I actually played another turn based RPG and had fun with it. I was pissed for a bit because of what Aster did in chapter 6 but he redeemed himself by There was so much disturbing shit in that game, but I can accept it all as par for the course for that interesting world setting. The adorable flirtiness between the MC and his wives was top shelf awesome and I would commonly tear just from how poignant some of their casual interactions were. They would literally just scream into the sky about how much they loved eachother and it made me feel warm and fuzzy. Satisfying RPG...Tons of Lovey Dovey awesomeness...Excellent Hentai of all varieties...Some disturbing stuff. I'm told I should play Rance next. I'm sure it has all the rape and H scenes ever. Does it have anything at all like the lovey dovey sweetness in Evenicle, or is it all kinda a cruel power boner type thing?

Noice list. Are these companies that specifically buy the rights to translate and resell VNs? Are some of these original makers of VNs?

You should write a guide describing those developers/translator companies and the differences between them. Someone like me who only just discovered VNs a couple months ago can't possibly know the difference. VNs are such a niche field...even if you try to specifically google it to learn about it you will still feel very much in the dark. I wish I had a better grasp upon the state of English translated VNs, given how much I love them.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not sure how much to be bothered. If it were for a Key game I wouldn't care in the slightest. But if it were Hoshizora that were censored, for example, I would feel like I was missing out. I guess I'd want to hear someone's opinion on whether the H scenes were vital.

I hope your luck holds out. Seems they get worse the more you have them. The worst I've ever had were usually related to cinnamon alcohol for some reason...Fireball, Goldslager. Wine seems to make me feel like I'm "stained" with it the next day, so I tend to avoid it. I experimented with heavy stuff a lot back in my college days, now I'm quite happy with my light beers of no consequence xD. Dead Cells 1.0 is out. I'm replaying it and this time not buying any stupid blueprints. This is definitely the best roguelike, ever. At least, if you like Dark Souls.

I do this and start reading 3, 4 at once. This might be a bad thing. But I have infinite time and do nothing but read all day so I like to think that I can handle the responsibility of juggling that many waifus. I'm being talked into starting up Rance as a nice mix genre distraction. Almost through Evenicle which is totally awesome and fills that niche as well, I think.

Ok finished Nekopara 3, still gotta do extra and zero. I feel like I liked Maple and Cinnamon the least then bam, now I like them both too. There's too much good stuff to say about every single cat, I don't really think there's a single weakest one in my eyes. If we were saying "If you had to pick just one" I think that would be a very interesting direction to come from, too. I thought Chocola and Vanilla were the shit in their childlike simplicity, but then Azuki and Coconut were refreshingly complicated. And then come Cinnamon and Maple who were refreshingly adultlike. Perhaps you'd always be a little intellectually lonely dating catgirls since they are basically permanent children on the mental level, but there's definitely quite a nice range among the six. Maybe you don't really need intellectual equals in your life partners. Maybe you just need to date enough dependent children at once to keep it interesting? Lots of important life lessons learned, here.

I'm working my way through the Nekopara series so that I can participate in this thread without being spoilered (yeah I'm just paranoid, there's literally nothing to spoil in this series, "Surprise! You fuck all the cats!"). Almost done with Nekopara 3, still gotta do 0 and Extra. Wanted to mention that here I am finally at the Maple sex scene and I'm suddenly extremely conscious of my actual cat sitting on my leg, watching the game and watching me play the game. I really don't know how to feel about this right now, and I don't think my cat knows either.

I was seriously wondering what they named the kid too. I enjoyed the ending. Did you do all the side paths? I regret doing them after I finished the main path. I actually liked them a great deal. One of my favorite parts of the end sequences was when it was basically hell on earth and people were being raped, murdered, everything was on fire, and it played this sick sountrack: Also when Haru tried to play the violin that one time and started hallucinating and freaking out it scared the shit out of me.
