I know I said that but, oh boy, just how disappointing can you even get  
I can enjoy AliceSoft games like any other guy, at least I did more or less enjoy Evenicle. It's just too funny how they can't release Sengoku Rance for like 2 years already but keep announcing more, more, more AND MORE of Rance. Did they spend all their eroge budget on Rance so they ended up having nothing else of note to announce for the 2018 and 2019? Well, except Byakko but we know that it was actually acquired ages ago together with SukiSuki. Darn, I miss the times when I could always get excited about a MangaGamer panel, nowadays I feel like even JAST have a better chance of fluking an interesting announcement, especially since they do hold hostage all those Nitro+ licenses.
On another note, maybe I'll try Mugen Renkan someday but since I'm one of those people who consider both Kuroinu (well, duh) and Euphoria a nukige fetish fodder with a barely serviceable story, my expectations are set veeeeeery low.

I'll just seconded what Clephas stated, and if I want to add more it would be better to not expected any romance at Phantom Trigger here because the writer is Fujisaki Ryuuta, and from what I read I think his writing of Yuuji at Rakuen was lacking of romance to put it frankly. Both Phantom Trigger and Rakuen here is kinetic VN, and seeing that each part of Phantom Trigger only focused on the mission (Along with the heroines dark pasts) I agree that the chance of romance is quite small.
As for harem sex scenes, at least I'm 100% certain that we won't get that in Phantom Trigger here, simply because we have the name like Kaori Nazuka or Sakura Ayane for the casts. So I think unless FW want to change the casts to allow the sex scenes, it simply won't happen. For the info usually famous seiyuu in Japan would use pseudonym for voicing eroge, and in here we have the seiyuu did use their real name which mean FW already intened this as all age VN. While I did say the sex scenes is impossible, it's still possible for them to make a big finale like Rakuen although obviously we don't know when for now.
PS - Even though I rarely follow this, I'm still hope that FW will release both of their next two volumes (Volume 5.5 and 6) so that we can have complete story here.

And here's the final update for Hoshiori, in which we finally have Natsuki's patch released. Go get the patch at their website here, and have fun. As for Tsurezure's next plan, we still wouldn't know yet but whichever plan it is we should appriciate them for being able to translated three good VNs. So congratulation to them, and thanks for their hard work at seven months here.

Voted for Iwaihime, Sakura no Uta and Bradyon Veda. Wanted to vote for Hatsuyuki Sakura, but I concluded that Visual Arts would most likely release it themselves or through Sekai. And Eustia already has an ongoing fan-translation.

I've voted for Unionism Quartet and Walkure Romanze like every year, but my third vote got Hyakki Ryouran no Yakata from Astronauts: Sirius this time instead of an Eushully title. Since MangaGamer sold their soul already to AliceSoft regarding gameplay titles, I think it's pointless to still hope for Eushully.

Same here. I'd buy it if they were to take the chance of translating and selling, but the kickstarter route is not one i support. Although i sincerely wish they succeed, even though they don't get any support from me and those who are like minded.

Sadly, porn is porn. It's always oriented towards maximum visibility, with length and sequences focused on giving you a good fap rather than expressing something meaningful or staying true to the characters. That's why I think it's a damn shame there's so few softcore/17+ VNs with non-explicit erotic segments. Hentai as a formula is simply not compatible with having realistic/story-oriented sex scenes and in most cases, even the developers and writers of VNs don't pretend they aren't tacked-on fanservice.

I guess that managed to slip under my radar since I don't pay much attention to console games (or anything outside this forum, really), but I'm interested now.
Not enough horror VNs translated to English if you ask me.

It's pretty telling of how desperate the situation in the Western VN scene is when most of us are fine with "good enough".

For folks skeptical/worried about future releases, the upcoming localization of Volume 2 just got rather quietly announced on twitter:
And I'm here to tell you, there's no coincidence the ratings for volume 2 are consistently a lot higher than those for volume 1. Volume 1 can be a bit slow at times and in the end doesn't feel like it accomplishes much (presumably because it's the intro volume), but volume 2 constantly kicks all kinds of ass.

There are a lot of light VNs that I am interested in:
- Paradise Lost and Kajiri Kamui Kagura are connected to Dies irae
- Soushuu Senshinkan Gakuen Hachimyoujin (Senshinkan for short) has already been asked for on twitter. It has also a sequel in Soushuu Senshinkan Gakuen Bansenjin.
- Silverio Vendetta and it's sequel Silverio Trinity
- Gunjou no Sora o Koete (also has a really good reputation)
- Sora no Baroque (light's newest work)
There is also a bunch of other chuunige that I would love seeing in Vermilion -Bind of Blood-, Zero Infinity -Devil of Maxwell- and Electro Arms -Realize Digital Dimension-.
 
So light has titles for years as far as I am concerned and I am sure I missed some interesting titles in this list too. Let's just hope that they find their venture into the west worthwhile and start working on more  translations.

They also announced that they're no longer working with the PR team they outsourced to for the original Kickstarter campaign.  Apparently they're hiring steiner (one of the translators for the original VN) to as a brand manager, and there isn't going to be any kind of middleman company involved.  He's also going to be the sole translator for Kaziklu Bey as well.
I dunno about anyone else, but I'm pretty hyped.  It's definitely the kick in the pants I need to get around to finishing the original.

It 100% depends on the company. Some actually try to structure their games towards a western audience (and are beginning to make changes to all future games to do this, including making them all-ages or story-based), while others still see the west as an after-thought.
