welp, rn playing something popular months ago, Nanairo Reincarnation ... just late to play because of works...
anyway... When I just on half-step (?) on common route. I can tell this VN got some quite nice comedy (personal opinion)
and Of course...this funny shit make ......

I mean, this damn vn written by maeda junior or something ? well not something I can compare with Clannad and pals. But come ooooooooon.... 

When I know the plot is eternal-living youkai as heroine, I can mostly guess what thing make this VN sad (hell yeah, I got mild spoiler from friend so that's why I know it would be sad) And....so I thought I've been prepared for worst... BUT WHAT THE HECK, This thing just got me .... Even template plot can't make this less ....

Well... after all , no regret, This thing very nice... yep... I just masochist with nakige lately so don't mind me ....

It could be useful for publicity for the project if you make a fancy project website, but other than that I don't really see the need. Even in the unlikely event that a VN engine supports html code, all the translation project should do would be to copy paste the code from the Japanese script. This is one of the reasons why I wrote the list is copy pasted from somewhere else and used without the knowledge of how VN translations work. Another issue is typesetter. This is the process of adding the text into anime or manga at the right location using the right font. A VN has the text in plain text with no styling (think txt document kind of styling) and then the engine will place the text where it's needed. There is nothing for a typesetter to do.
What is also eye catching is what is missing. There is no "job" for anybody responsible for extracting the script and injecting the translated script. Also the menu system tend to be in png format, meaning new png files should be made with English text. There is no request for anybody able to do such graphical work. However in a number of VNs, those tasks are so minor that if you have a team of the critical tasks (translator, editor etc), then requesting help from the forum/other translation projects can be a valid approach. It is however not instant, meaning it's likely hard to get this done if you don't even have a translator.
Other VNs really require to have people assigned to tasks like this. If the VN uses a custom engine then there is no tools available online and you have to make your own. If there are more than 5-10 imagines, which needs editing, then you need somebody in the project to work on those without relying on outside help. Musumaker falls into this category with hundreds of images needing translation and all tools are custom made.

I don't even know where to begin with this post. It's a new user, who wants to start no less than 7 translation projects, writes nothing about an existing team (is there any?) and the list of positions is copy pasted from anime or manga, which completely disregards that VN translations work differently. In other words this is just a wishlist for titles other people should pick up made by somebody who has no insights in how VNs are translated.
But wait, the fun doesn't end there. The list includes Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o titles, a series Mangagamer is in progress of releasing, meaning if anybody starts on those, MG will likely not be too happy about it.
The aura of professionalism doesn't end there. Nothing is written about those titles and there aren't even links or anything. We will have to do our own research to figure out what they are even about. Also out of the 3 links in the profile, two of them are dead and the third goes to what looks like an empty profile.
 
I guess now it's time to lean back and grab the popcorn.

I started wondering about the quote about not understanding experts and then it hit me to write a funny post like this. However it turned out to be harder to write than it looks because I didn't make up anything. There is a true explanation for each, while at the same time it's intended to make people laugh a bit while reading it. It was also important to make it "far out" to make it clear that my goal wasn't to make an encyclopedia.
People are split in the question if moege is good or bad and making a bold statement will likely trigger a debate (again). MoeNovel is unpopular for editing out adult contents and deliver translations of questionable quality. The thread about how you started reading VNs indicates that it's common to be lured in by (adult) screenshots, but then stay for the story. It's also commonly agreed upon that H scenes are often written horribly.
MT = Machine Translation. I tried it to see what all the fuss is about and while it does work, the quality is very much hit and miss and you will completely destroy any story by not being able to read all lines. Since it takes quite a while to learn how to use MT, you are better off spending the time studying Japanese if you have to pick one of those.
 
And don't worry too much about experts being hard to understand. It's not like I get everything people talk about, but you can always look up words. Asking is also an option, which should be used if you can't look up the word in question.

Welcome to Fuwanovel, and sorry for the belated greeting here. As for Southeast Asia, is there any chance that you came from Indonesia as well? If so, nice to meet another fellow from the same country here. Also if you need more VNs recommendation, you can ask us here. I hope you'll have fun here.
PS - As for the terms that Tymmur explained in his own understanding, let me explain those in more objective way.
Moege: The VN with heavy focus on cutesy, and in turn most of route based VN can be classified as this
MoeNovel: Pulltop's branch that's responsible for overseas release, and getting infamous because they cut the sex scenes for overseas release
Loli: Just like moege only with childlike heroine, usually get some controversy because of lolicon nature (Please don't discuss about this here)
MT: Using some device that have same function as Google Translate to translate the VN, and it's widely unacceptable because usually Google Translate translation is mostly inaccurate
HCG: The CG that depict sex act
Plotge: The VN that did have some overarching arc instead of usual route based VN, mostly linear VN although there's some exception though
H scene: The sex scenes in Visual Novels (VN)
Manga: Japanese term for comic book
Nukige: Visual Novel that was focused on sex rather than the story, and thus regarded as less than average VN
Kamige: The VN that was widely regarded as the best VN (ie Subahibi, Steins Gate, Muv Luv Alternative)
