It's finally released! I feel pretty emotional about this, since it was my first ever editing job. I'm so grateful to both VS and Ittaku for letting me work on this project and allowing me to get my foot into the industry. (I doubt I would've had my current job if I hadn't worked on this and met the people I've met through it.)

To recap, I worked on the prologue, the main school common branch, and Miyabi's route. Unfortunately, due to time constraints (and the fact that I worked very slowly), I wasn't able to work on Tonoko's route, but I'm sure it'll still be great!
I also want to thank Marche100 for helping me out by editing the branch school common route, Yuuna's route, and Shino's route. I know he did a really solid job on those!

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it! I've been really looking forward to reading Yuuna's story.

I'd go beyond that and say sometimes the translator even asks the editors for ideas while they're translating on how to tackle some issues where there is no good translation for a word, name, pun, meme, etc.

In regards to the prologue patch, Pomelo and I are working as much as we can to get the prologue fully edited and QAed for release. It'll be on the slower side, however, because we both are quite busy and can only work when time is afforded to us. It'll take some time to do, but we'll definitely get this patch out.
As for how much progress there's been, we've edited and QAed a good amount of the first script. The TL is complete for the prologue as well.

Quite a good progress here, so let me congratulate on the 10% translated mark here in which it's quite a lot more than it sounds considering that it mean that you must translated ~6600 lines here. Nice to see that Branch translation is going well, and looking forward to the patch although if you managed to get the good progress at both of common route (Main and Branch), perhaps you can reconsider to release common route patch. Either way, in the end it's up to you in regard of the release plan and once again good luck on the project.

My first piece of news has already been reported by Ittaku. The main school common route's translation has been completed. Also, since Ittaku doesn't know how to take a break, he has started on Tonoko's route. Finally, editing is almost finished for the prologue, which means the prologue patch is close.
My second piece of news is that I'm looking for an extra editor for the project. Since this VN is quite large, having one editor working on it by themselves is a pretty insane task to ask of somebody. So I'm looking for an editor who feels qualified enough to take on a task like this project. If you want to apply for the position, then contact me here on Fuwanovel in the PMs.

I've explained this before, but most charage fall under the much larger 'moege' umbrella.  Where this is confusing you is probably references to the term 'pure moege' vs 'charage'. 
To be a moege, all you need is for the game to be filled with visuals and character mannerisms in the moe style (for old examples, gobi like 'uguu~', character archetypes like the classic tsundere).  To be a 'pure moege', you need this to be the primary content of the game (minimal character development, no strong central plot, character interactions based solely upon surface character qualities born of the archetype in question, etc).  A charage, on the other hand, will have more involved character development (as you get to know the heroines, their personalities become more complex, you learn about their pasts, their flaws, etc), and there is often a heroine-centric plot in each heroine path that provides at least a bare-bones framework for the romantic parts.

Sisterly Bliss has a cool choice system based on the heroine's feelings, that isn't overly complex. It's one of my favorite choice systems, actually. So yeah, look forward to that! 

It's something that one can reach in 1 month, but that's a milestone that a very large portion of the VN community hasn't reached. The subset of people that both A) are willing to invest time and effort to learn Japanese at all and B) are willing to work on or start a translation project is rather small. There's no reason to discourage someone before they even begin.
Not to mention, as I understand it, unlike Tymmur, you're not a translator yourself. I don't think you're in a position to rebuke anyone. 
With that said, I agree that OP should refine their Japanese skills before taking on an independent project, and that they should maybe leave this one to the mysterious fan translator. Their enthusiasm is to be respected, however.
