  1. Keep up the good work. Excited and patient is always a great combination!
  2. Thanks for posting what fixed the problem and step by step instructions. Worked like a charm for me.
  3. I am trying to find out what font Debo no Su Seisakusho's Chaos Labyrinth uses, as the game runs but shows nothing but squares and "f"s for text at this point. I am running in Japanese locale, have my home location set to Japan, and my language for non-Unicode programs set to Japanese. I had read that changing my displayed time from local to Tokyo could fix this but it didn't help, and at this point I figure I might be missing the correct font. I have the Japanese font package from Win 10 installed. Are there any good sites for finding game fonts? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Does anyone know if it's possible to apply the English patch for Littlewitch's Period (https://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Period) to a downloaded game? I bought the game this afternoon from DMM, but looking at the patch, it looks like I have to have either been following along with partial patches from the start, or have a physical disc version of the game in order to install the patch. Since the first 5 partial patches aren't downloadable from the site anymore, am I out of luck until I learn Japanese, or am I just missing something? I love VNs, but I work in an Emergency Room, so figuring out some of the technical issues can be a chore. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided!
  5. Thanks. I'd just finished patching ToHeart2 and was getting really sleepy, so I'll blame that for not thinking of taking a screen shot. It's working now, so I can't get a pic of the message. I couldn't find this item on dlsite or getchu (or even dmm initially) searching, and was only directed to the dll purchase site from a link on the Yuzu Soft web site. I'd never purchased anything from any of the three sites, but will keep this in mind in the future. I've been buying the original physical boxed games to this point. In any case, thanks again for the assistance.
  6. Thank you! That seems to have been the case, as it's now downloading. I really appreciate the help.
  7. I'd keep reading them. I love VNs, with or without H-scenes. Censorship does annoy me though, so I'd be a little peeved if the hypothetical somehow happened. I'd even read a VN without H-scenes that was about the sudden disappearance of H-scenes in VNs, even if without any H-scenes in it, there would be no way to know if there really had been some to start with... Going to take my newb-self off and think about trees falling in the forest with nobody around for a while to clear my head.
  8. First off, I just wanted to say hi to everyone here, and thank you all for the great discussions and translations. I love coming here and reading the posts, even if I'd just been lurking around. I did have a question about dmm (the site) downloads and was wondering if anyone has had problems downloading games from there? I just purchased Noble Works from the site (I'd never used dmm before this time, so I'm a newbie there too), but when I try to download, a pop up... pops up. It mentions google chrome, but the rest is in Japanese and it doesn't allow me to cut/paste the message to get an idea from an online translator. The same message pops up for the single download, as well as the three split downloads. I figure it has something to do with download size? Has anyone else experienced something similar, and if so, is there some sort of work-around? I know, not a lot of information to go on, but any ideas or advice is appreciated. Thanks.
