Description [edited from the VNDB description by Zakamutt]
Ami, Minori, Taiga, and Ryuuji visit a Shinto shrine rumored to give its supplicants success in their romantic endeavors. A fearful entanglement occurs, and our hero and heroines find themselves tumbling down the stone stairs...
"What? My voice..." Ryuuji says, "Why am I in Kushieda's body?"

Forsooth, their predicament weaves a tangled web indeed: They all have switched bodies! Ami, having sprung into Ryuuji's flesh, finds herself ruled utterly by that limb of limbs, her newfound dick - and thus proceeds to embark upon a rapestravaganza of entrancing proportions.

Special thanks to everyone else who has contributed thus far. Plus, an extra special thanks to Kiriririri for purchasing the game for me.

The translation is already underway and progress is steady. Our team is now fully staffed and ready to go.
We're very excited to bring this Toradora focused nukige to the English-speaking community!

As you go away, along with you goes a part of me… but I am happy that now you are free.
Goodbye for now dearest, I believe more than ever that someday I will see you again and never let you go. Sleep well and sweet dreams.
I’ll remember you. When I’ve forgotten all the rest. You to me were true. You to me were the best.
I can’t hold the tears back. It wasn’t fair that your life had to end. I’ll always keep you in my heart. Rest in peace my friend.
Loving memories last forever, I am at a loss for words during this sorrowful time. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort.
I shall not shed tears since you hated to see me cry. But to God (Allah), I shall ask how could he, and why.
Forever in this heart of mine, an everlasting bond for now until the end of time are memories so fond, rest in peace.
Now he is in heaven taking care of us, let’s live happily and his soul will be happy too, the rest in peace and his spirit is with GOD (ALLAH).
You have all your duties fulfilled, in your heart, there was no guilt. So you shall forever stay at ease and in the heavens above, rest in peace.
A thousand words won’t bring you back, I know because I’ve tried; neither will a thousand tears, I know because I’ve cried.
May the love and mercy of our Lord be bestowed upon you and your family during this unfortunate time. My most sincere condolences.
Why is it that you have to go, why is life so cruel? I wish you could stay with us forever.
Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your memory lives within me, forever in my heart.
On the sands of time, you have left your footprints with glory. Everyone will know your name and shall recall your story.
God (Allah) has now a precious and loving friend, the one we have lost. Your company will even regale angels of death and make them smile.
Rest in peace friend, we know you are in a better place and one day we shall meet again.
Could you come back and stay a while. I want to hear your voice and see you smile. I want to hold you tight and never let go and tell you how much I love you.
There is nothing that is invincible for a soul as spirited as you…yet you bowed down to death to honor God (Allah) and his will. Rest in peace.
I know that you have left the Fuwo, and my heart is heavy with pain. But I also know that we shall be united one day in heavens above. So wait for me my dearest.
If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

    Hi everyone,
it's been a while since I approached the world of Visual Novels and I have a rather special question.
Are there any Visual Novels with a different design style than the Japanese one?
Not that I do not like them but it seems a bit 'strange that the kind of game is related only to a type of artistic style.

And with that, two out of my three favorite VNs have recieved butchered "localizations." ChuSinGura was first, Kimisora second. (If SakuraGame touches Chrono Box I swear...)
I'm also a huge fan of the Soleil series from Skyfish, and have been hoping to either see it handled by a big company like MG, JAST etc who can do it justice, or perhaps even to work on it myself. But I guess there's a decently big chance freaking SakuraGame will butcher those games too now... *sigh* Y u do dis...

Zander reacted to Dergonu in How many people cares for physical copies?
I generally buy physical copies from Japan, not TLed games, so the EMS costs gets me. I have bought some games from MG in the past, and the shipping there wasn't too bad. Though, it does depend on the site, whether I use a third party shipper and so on. But yeah, I meant when ordering tokutens from Japan, not games from western publishers.

Can a visual novel move a human being to laugh? To cry? To feel love?
These are questions I, too, have pondered for a long time. I feel that perspective is the most important thing in such matters. Life is still boring? Question not what you want from VNs, but what you seek from life. All individual humans have a different definition of this strange and inexplicable concept we call 'life'.
To one, visual novels may be their savior. It may give them meaning. It may give them happiness. If it is not the same for you, then you may need to seek alternative methods to achieve that which you so strongly desire; but just because you cannot achieve what you want through visual novels does not make it an inadequate medium for anyone else.
I sincerely wish you luck in your journey throughout life, and in finding a proper outlet for your emotions that will make you pleased and satisfied with your existence. Our time on this Earth is short indeed, and I believe it is better we find what we seek rather than ponder it too long and miss our chance.
    God bless.

I believe the right vn can make a person change his outlook on certain stuff and appreciate the smaller things in life. I'm sure vn's such as clannad have had positive effects on people.
What it will not do is improve your personality or turn you in to a chick magnet who makes girls fall in love with you just by existing.
Im gonna take a wild guess that this is a matter of love. Or i guess love lost. Things happen and you move on in time. Learn from what has happened and improve yourself from experience. Not just love, but in all things.

Zander reacted to Dreamysyu in I have lost faith in VN
Good VNs can change you exactly as much as the other types of media. They can give you new perspectives of your own life, or show you some new ideas you'd never come up with on your own. At the same time, you should never expect too much from them, just like you shouldn't expect too much from pretty much any fictional story. They can serve as a catalyst for a change in you, but in the end, it's always the real-life experience that does the actual change.
If you want your life to become less boring, go out and find another, more active hobby, something that appeals to you personally. It would be the best if it involves talking to the other people. No matter how engaged you may become in books/movies/VNs, the things described there are are experienced by the characters, not by you. They aren't useless though. Fiction generally makes you a lot more open-minded, and reading a nice book isn't really the worst way to spend your free time when you just want to relax.

This is in response to the repeated discussion we get over and over about what is "good enough" localisation, and the recent discussion about the "toxic" response to fan translations in the community. The ranking is entirely my own, and is meant to be non-linear. It does NOT equate to the quality of the original VN, and editing has intentionally been included as part of the ranking for simplicity, even though you may get seriously skewed better quality in either translation (unlikely) or editing. Note this is mostly about fan translations, as I think it's fair to be more critical of official localisations but if you want to comment on those perhaps put in a comment. Sorry if the poll is long, I wanted the options to be very descriptive.

Hi, I've enjoyed lurking fuwanovel and it's content for quite awhile now. I just always hate singing up for things, so only got around to making an account yesterday. I'm not into otome, boys love, or nukige, but I'll play pretty much anything else. Even though I'm still somewhat inexperienced with the format, I love visual novels and I can't picture my life without them. Anyway, I hope we get along and have fun together.
P.S. I'm not really hot or that young. Sorry about that.

Zander reacted to Bishounen-P in The Problem With Seiyuu Danshi!
Hi! I've been a longtime lurker of Fuwanovel, and recently decided I'd like to become semi-active on here. I originally posted this review on my Tumblr, but thought it might spark some interesting discussion here.
    -

I am both an aspiring VN dev and a longtime otome/BL game fan. I’ve played dozens of indie EVNs as well and involved myself in the community. So, it pains me to write a negative review about an indie EVN that I’ve looked forward to for a long time.
I’ll just get right into it: Seiyuu Danshi! is a bad game.
Meyaoi Games made around $40,000 back in 2016 on Kickstarter, which was an astonishingly 800% of their initial $5,000 goal. Back then, it looked like it was gonna be something special. So, when it released just the other day, I got it immediately and started playing.
But my expectations were immediately thrashed by the low quality of the writing.

Not only is the English awkward in nearly every line of the game, but the whole time it felt to me like the writers were obsessed with trying (and failing very badly) to make me think this was a translated Japanese visual novel rather than an OELVN.
From the title itself being Seiyuu Danshi! (why not just name it Voice Actor Boys?), to the names of all the characters, to the protagonist nicknaming everyone in some Japanese manner (Toru-chi, Tocchan, etc), to uninspired references to anime, it was made very clear to me that this was a game trying to be something it wasn’t.
Along with this, the game is filled with ultra-generic characters and dates that you’ve seen a million times elsewhere. You go to an amusement park later on with your boy, which was a $39,000 stretch goal. Are you treated to any special CGs or fun interactions on this expensive date? Nope! You just go, choose between a few rides, and read some dull dialogue about them going and having fun.
And maybe *I’m* missing something, because you can change the underwear of the protagonist as well as buy a whole bunch of clothes for him but he never actually wears it outside of the dress-up screen (and in the context of clothes, he doesn’t even put THOSE on). The clothes seem to simply be there for a boost in love points from your chosen boy, but you can just wear the same thing every time and he responds the same way every time. I vaguely remember there being one comment from Toru about the protagonist’s underwear choice, but I’ve only ever seen it when I put it on him in the first place.

However, I pressed on, because from the screenshots on their itch.io page it seemed like the main focus of the game was on the gameplay rather than the writing. Much of the advertising seems to be aimed at the pornographic aspect of the game. In their list of features, they specifically talk up the “interactive gameplay” during the pornographic content along with collectible costumes and toys to use.
But Seiyuu Danshi! falls flat even there. Not only does it take months (see: several hours) of grinding in-game to even get a boyfriend in the first place, the H content in this game feels like it’s missing something. Sure, you can buy an assortment of costumes and sex toys to use on your boy, but it always seems to culminate in the same end-scene, which is my biggest problem with the H content: chibi porn.
    WARNING: NSFW-ish image

That’s right, after you go through “Foreplay Mode” where you manually pleasure your boy, you get treated to a mildly animated visual of your boy and the protagonist having sex. As chibis. There is also a chibi blowjob scene and a chibi masturbation scene. Maybe someone out there finds this attractive, but I sure as hell don’t.
The game costs more than $30, because the game has “100+ hours of content!” Meyaoi Games needs to realize that longer doesn’t equal better, especially when much of that time is spent doing basically nothing. Seiyuu Danshi! doesn’t have a story to tell, and the pornographic content is lacking. Therefore, I would give this one a hard pass.
