  1. There should only be one english physical release of Euhporia which comes with the reversible cover. If you look at euphoria hardcopy on Mangagamer's site it says includes reversible game cover, though they don't show how it looks there.

The SFW cover will be on the outside when you get it and on the inside is the NSFW cover.

  2. The VN does a short introduction of the characters, however I do think it would be quite a benefit to have watched the anime.

One thing I would like to mention though is that my review of Rinne Utopia might be a bit heavily positive based on it managing the routes and romance much better than other visual novels based on anime that I have read, though if you compare it to other well regarded visual novels it might not really stand out in this regard.

  3. The heroine routes has a decent amount of drama, while it is not a drama heavy VN I think it is probably less lighthearted than you imagine, but I can understand based on the premise that you would think it is really lighthearted.

  4. Just looked through hardcopies on the mangagamer site and found that there are still 9 copies left of Princess Evangile. Pretty sure it was suppose to be sold out, so if there are anyone who wanted to get it and that was disappointed about not being able to get a physical of it now seems to be a chance to get it. https://www.mangagamer.com/detail.php?goods_type=3&product_code=228

Your commentary is pretty spot on. It's a fun, comedy-heavy nukige that'll probably have you burst out laughing if it's your first exposure to this kind of absurdity but it is indeed quite one-sided. I also wasn't very fond of the map system...or maybe I could be confusing it with https://vndb.org/v12491 in that regard. It's sort of confusing but I guess it's not so bad if you're not trying to focus on a specific character at first...but you do need to trigger enough events to reach the endings, iirc.

I didn't find it too hard to navigate through it, figured quite quickly to use the combo events to unlock new areas and that some would unlock after a few days. So I managed to unlock 3 endings on my first readthrough. It was a bit annoying though to have to go through it 5 times and start a new game each time before unlocking the true end since going through it 2 times is enough to unlock the ending with all the characters with exeption of that 1 ending.

My favorite has to be https://vndb.org/v14934, also from May-Be-Soft. It's just as, if not even more fun, and it's really interesting to see H events unfold from a different perspective.

Ye that one seems interesting as well, after reading Henshin I figured that I will probably want to read that one as well so maybe I will pick it up next time I go to Japan though that is most likely going to happen a few years from now.

From your review I can see that Moonstone still repeated their own pattern from back at first Imopara, in which I like Rio the most followed by Aya, Hiyori/Koharu (I can't decide here), and Michika for the least. While for the story rank (Yeah there's one), I think I'll going with Aya for the first rank (Because her route did really talk about the sibling relationship taboo), Rio, Hiyori (She did learn to become more bold I guess), Koharu, and finally Ichika. I may sounds unfair on Michika, but it's because the MC who is quite an idiot there for following Michika's order to not masturbate and I really think that the MC who got a problem because of masturbation problem is an idiot one (My bad menory from Tsuki).

Okay maybe it's quite out of topic here, but really it's not because once again it's still the same as first Imopara. Except instead of blood related siblings, in here we have one mother sibling and four different mother siblings that was came from the same dad (Should call the other four siblings as cousin though) so at least it's enough for the difference. As for the sibling and pseudo cousins Chiharu's design is looks nice compared to Koharu, Momoka is the only same mother siblings for the MC (ie the MC and Momoka are Aya's children), Michika did really teach Shizuku a lot of inappropriate knowledge, Ririna is apparently as smart as her mother, and Yuzu is at least improved from her mother in that she manage to talk back to the MC. For the design, I only like Chiharu because it looks different from her mother.

I guess that's all for what I can say, and as for whether I'll play this or not maybe I'll just skip on this even with Chiharu's design here.

Well Momoka and Ririna are pretty much the same as their moms. Shizuku is also quite similar, but is more focused on sexual things in general rather than focusing on a sadist masicist relationship, Yuzu and Chiharu are quite different from their mothers though, at least in my opinion, while they do have some traits from theirs moms I think there is enough fundamentally different about them to call them different characters. But ye in general this is pretty much a repeat of Imopara 1 with better graphics and other sex scenes, you can pretty much just expect the same as the first one.

  7. Unless anyone feels like this blog is important I am most likely going to stop it after this month. Considering the low amount of people reading the different blog entries under this blog it kind of seems like a waste of time covering these things, especially because I would assume most of those who reads this already knows about the news i cover. So if you feel like this blog is important to keep speak up, if not well this will be my last entry.

Nice, I'd definitely be interested in hearing your impressions when you do (or any other Japanese vita games, really).

I have reviewed all the japanese vita ones I have currently read and it will probably take some time before my next since I have started reading Hanasaki Work Spring! which is listed as 30-50 hours, and I don't want to read more than one VN in japanese at a time. Though I will get to other PS vita and PS4 VNs some time in the future

Here are all of my physical VNs which is what I make reviews of, so you can see the different titles I will make reviews of in the future. This both includes my english ones and my japanese ones.

As far as one's based on anime, the Saekano one looked really interesting to me.

Ye really looking forward to reading it myself, pretty much the main one that made me buy a vita and japanese VNs for the vita. Have waited before starting to read it though since I asume it is going to be a bit difficult to read.

It's a bit sad that these derivative VNs never get translated, they seem like something pretty easily marketable, especially when based on popular series such as New Game. Well, maybe one day...

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation got announced today, which is partly the reason I decided to do these reviews (my review of it will come a bit later). Anyways I think it means that there is a chance for other titles based on series that already had an anime before the VN, though Compile Heart is a bit special since they already have such a large focus on localizing their games.

Although in regard of twin I think Koharu is the one who like to have outdoor sex instrad of Hiyori, but I may remember it wrong. For one last thing here, all of the sisters did have masturbation as their first scenes lol.

Having just taken a quick look at the CGs it seems like the twins have roughly as much focus on outdoor sex as each other. Will fix this. As for why I wrote Hiyori had more I guess it is based on the scenes leaving more of an impression. In Koharu's route Koharu is the one who starts these scenes and don't really seem worried about being caught, while in Hiyori's route it is the older brother who thinks of the suituations and Hiyori is quite embarresed about it, as such I think Hiyori managed to pull of the outdoor scenes better as it did a better job at making you feel that they could be found out simply by Hiyori actually being worried about it, which is likely why I mainly thought of Hiyori when thinking of the outdoor sex scenes.

Uh no, that would be incest.

Actually I don't feel like incest work that much as a main fetish in Imopara. Only one of the routes actually focus on feeling that what they are doing is wrong in the eyes of society and that it is a forbidden love. Other than that it is pretty much just that they call him older brother (each with a different way to say it) and that he has some internal monologue about how he loves all of his little sisters. While of course incest is a bit of the draw since it is in the title and it is the setting of it I just don't think they actually try to use it that much as a fetish rather it seem to mostly be used as a way to have all of them be in love with him already so there isn't any need to wait for the girls to fall in love. Them having spent time with him their whole life just makes it easy to explain that they have fallen for him and as such they can just jump to the sex scenes after a short introduction which is pretty convenient for a nukige. Also it works well with the dialoge since the different girls are very familiar with each other and then don't really hold back when they say anything infront of each other. This is something I think drives most of the comedy.

Also changed the line you quoted since what I originally meant was sex in places where others could find out, which also means not only public but also within their house in suituations where other sisters could find out.
