You can buy the game here, and download the 18+ patch at their website. Nekofuku Shrine is a small shrine located in a corner of Akihabara. It is dedicated to 2 cats that are said to bring in good fortune and expel any misfortune.
The legend goes that 2 cats came to help the revival of the town after a huge fire burnt it down a long time ago. Although the ancient and honorable shrine has stood in a quiet side street of Akihabara for hundreds of years, its surroundings have developed, leaving it with no worshippers for many years.
One day, a very unfortunate young man came to visit the old shrine.
The 2 cat-eared girls in the appearance of shrine maidens, could not stand by and not greet their first worshipper for many years. Especially one riddled with such misfortune.
The 2 cat-eared girls start living with the young man to rid him of his misfortune, but...
It turns out that this is the start of a somewhat eventful and sexual cohabitation between the young man and the 2 cat-eared shrine maidens!

He is sucked in by her..., and his life changes 180 degrees. "People who are sucked in by vampires can't control their libido and they keep asking for sex." Let's make your friends vampires, make them sexually excited, and have sex!

If you read 'Hara Kano!!' or any of the 'Hara~' visual novels you already know what to expect, there are six heroine routes and an unlockable Harem path that requires the other endings to be finished first, this guide will help you achieve 100% completion. Things to note:
Map choices and menu’s are still half Japanese, save is “セーブ” and load is “ロード”. Choices in bold are harem options, you can safely ignore them if they don't appear. To reach 100% completion you need to make every choice and read the heroine afterstories that unlock as you finish the game.  *Route-Ending Walkthrough*

After an accident, the protagonist Kantarou finds himself on a hospital bed, devoided of his memories. The story then branches, depending on choices, slowly shedding light on the protagonist background.
    Controls
Ending Guideline / Suggested Route-Ending Order
Mix Ore have three main routes (Nagisa, Millefiori and Ayano), each revolving around a girl and their connections to the protagonist; The game branches out pretty early, so the choice that will define which route you'll enter is the prologue one (where you have to chose a drink, each representing a path). All of the routes are pretty short and independent of one another, so you can play in any order you wish, I just advise getting the Bad Ending before the True Ending of the route. For the sake of having a order I followed:
Nagisa -> Millefiori -> Ayano.  Most of the choices are meaningless, so you can basically follow any spoiler box you want until DAY 4 (where the important choice(s) is(are) made), then switch to the spoiler box with the outcome you want to get. Each heroine also has ~choice recovery~ which will cover choices that weren't selected on the individual endings walkthrough.
The game is divided in visual novel sections and hospital room sections were you move around.
Important!:There's a bunny in the hospital room, they're your save point! Save constantly!

Ending Guideline / Suggested Route-Ending Order
The game is separated in visual novel sections (read and choice only) and ADV sections (walk around and stuff like that).  There are two Heroines Hinata and Honaka, only one choice will determine what ending you will get, but there are choices which will lead to heroine events. So the individual "route" walkthrough will cover this moments, I advise playing the True Ends first then getting the Bad End. Also be aware of ~Choice Recovery~ that will cover choices that aren't selected in the walkthrough. So the order can also be summarized as: Hinata (True End 1)>Honoka (True End 2)>Yatarou (Bad End) Important!:There's a white bunny in Yatarou's room, it's your save point, SAVE BEFORE starting\finishing the day.

The story continues one year after the previous game left off. Yukari and Miho are now high schoolers, who are now dating and spend their leisure time together holding hands, kissing, and murdering the occasional boy or two. On one particular day that was just like any other, a new transfer student arrives to Yukari’s school. It’s Koshi Tanaka! But wasn't he dead? Apparently not. The goal of the game is to figure out the mysterious circumstances of Tanaka’s revival and most importantly, staying alive.

*Ending Guideline / Suggested Ending Order*
The structure is similar to the first game, but, there are a lot more choices this time (and the game is also a tad bit longer), and there are more character specific endings (normally bad endings), the game also this time have some minor Multiple Route Mystery elements (some endings gives more info on the plot or characters, like in Thoru's Bad End you discover a bit more about his personality, in Akira's Bad End a bit more about his intentions, in Minami's outcome a bit more about her motives, etc.), I recommend leaving the True End for last, you can also follow the order bellow for a better enjoyment. It is advised to save before making any choice. I left notes inside the spoiler boxes in case you follow the order bellow.
NOTE: Right click during the choices boxes so you can save\load during them. (for whatever reason you can't go to the save menu without using this shortcut)

Where a trivial incident leads to strife between best friends---.
Where a choice may choice is made to part ways---.
Mayu and Himeno confront the aquarium's many tragedies.
This summer, will you visit the aquarium too?
*Ending Guideline / Suggested Route-Ending Order*
The game have a total of 31 endings (27 Bad Endings and 4 True Endings). After getting the first True Ending you will unlock a prologue, you need to see this new scene to unlock the choice that will lead to the final routes, all you need to do is to start a new game and it will play automatically.
The bad endings guide is inside the individual route walkthrough (some Bad Ends are important so I recommend seeing them), and the achievement section at the bottom of this guide.
As a general rule, the color of the choice buttons tells you how your choice will affect the game:
Blue background: The choice will have little effect after the current scene.
Red background: The choice can lead to a Bad Ending.
Choices of both types can affect which True Ending you receive, so check the ending you're aiming for to see which choices you need to make.
     The recommended route order is:
-Himeno- --> -Princess of drops- --> -the limited ocean of life- --> -fall into poison-  -Himeno- and -Princess of drops- are the same route with different epilogues, -the limited ocean of life- is the one with most revelations and -fall into poison- ASSUMES you played everything, it will also finish the plot (so basically you have to play all routes for a full understanding of the story). This is the most optimal route order for full enjoyment of the story (I also recommend getting the Bad Ends first for optimization sake). It is advised to save before making any choice. I left notes inside the spoiler boxes in-case you follow my recommended order.

    *Route-Ending Guideline*

    -Himeno-

    -Princess of Drops-

"Why hello there. How do you do, sir. Ah, I suppose I ought to say 'good evening' considering the time of day. " The girl gently smiles at Kaito, and asks for his name.
"Toubu Kaito's my name... at least, it will be during my stay here."
He responds to her, quickly, and in doing so, inadvertently reveals his 'secret.'

    *Summary*
Himawari tells a tale of love, tragedy, and sacrifice played out on two stages – Earth, and outer space. Enter Hinata Youichi, a young high school student and sole survivor of a tragic spaceplane crash that robbed him of both his family and memories roughly two years prior. Amnesiac but steady in his new life, Youichi manages to find solace in surrounding himself with friends: Amamiya Ginga, the eccentric son of a world-famous astronaut, as well as the tomboyish, yet ultimately kind-hearted quasi-childhood friend, Saionji Asuka. Everything changes, however, when an unidentified object crash-lands in Youichi’s hometown and he meets Aries, a mysterious – and similarly amnesiac – young girl from outer space. Who is Aries? What happened on that fateful day two years ago? And what secrets lurk behind the accident that turned Youichi’s life upside down?
Explore Youichi’s struggle in coming to terms with his lost memories while an entirely different story is revealed to have taken place far beyond the clouds, in the chilling void of outer space. What starts out as a young man’s light-hearted high-school adventure soon takes a more serious turn as both Youichi and the reader are led to face a sobering revelation: that not everything is as it seems at first glance.
*Ending Guideline / Suggested Route-Ending Order*
Himawari have a strict Enforced Playing Order (similar to visual novels like Fate/Stay Night or Virtue's Last Reward), you have to play all routes in order (finishing at least the Main Ending for each), that doesn't mean that the plot is linear, it only means that there is a linear route progression. This guide will help you get all endings, CGs and unlock all side stories and tips. It is recommended to save Before Making any choice. The alternate endings are inside the walkthrough for each heroine (save before getting any alternate ending!). Read all routes if you want to understand the full story! If you want to know the controls, use this link.

    *Route-Ending Guideline*

    Aries

    Hoshino Akari/Amamiya Daigo
Only available after finishing Aries' route.

    Aqua
Only available after finishing Aries' and Hoshino's respective routes.

    Hinata Aoi
Hinata Aoi is an off-shot route that can be entered while playing Aqua's route (consequently it requires you to have beaten Aries' and Hoshino's respective Arcs), if you followed Aqua's guide and got all ends, you should have already gotten her end. If you want to unlock the next route, you need to get her end.

    Saionji Asuka
Requires all of the above routes to be completed (at least the main endings) and the "Hinata Aoi" side route.

Little did Kaito know, but this slight 'slip of the tongue' would be the single action to put an end to his hapless fate. One tiny mistake, and his life forever changed...
"If it was a mistake that came about through love, then I think there can be nothing more wonderful than that."

    Sakura Sakura
    Lincensed by Sol Press
The Dorm Guardian vs. The School Guardian
Tohru Inaba has always dreamed of living a co-ed life. That’s why, when he finally managed to transfer into the renowned Rintoku Academy, he immediately fell head over heels for two Sakuras!
Nanako Sakura’s classes are strict, but at home, she turns into an overbearing mother.
Sakura Kirishima may seem cold and unfriendly, but she is always ready to lend a helping hand as the class representative.
These two girls are outwardly indifferent to Tohru, but put the three of them together and sparks begin to fly.
In the sakura-colored season of spring, two fussy Sakuras have been caught in a light-hearted love triangle.

The Internet Friend vs. The Childhood Friend
"You know how romance games always give the main character that best friend who tells him about the girls? I want to be that guy."
Naoki Fuse, the self-proclaimed best friend, is always ready to tease Tohru about his situation with the two Sakuras.
But, unbeknownst to him, he is one side of yet another light-hearted love triangle.
Akira Nitta has been Naoki's friend since before they could read and write, and is now finally living under the same (dorm) roof as him.
Kurumi Tachibana used to be Naoki's MMO raiding partner, but they were separated before she ever got a chance to meet him in real life or tell him how she felt.
"I understand him better than anyone else."
Akira and Kurumi have Naoki stumped for the first time in his life. And so, Tohru finally gets a chance to see things from the other side.
The curtains rise on this desolate showdown for love.
    [From Steam]
    ***Game Info (VERY IMPORTANT!)***
Sakura Sakura has four main scenarios, "The beginning of Sakura Sakura" has Nanako and Kirishima as the main heroines and Tohru as the MC, "Childhood Friend Love Triangle Battle!" has Akira and Kurumi as the main heroines and Naoki as the lead character, "It's been one year since Tohru met both Sakuras." is an after story of sorts and it's a direct 'sequel' to the first Arc and "Welcome to Tsukimi!" a bonus arc for completing all "Sub-routes".
The VN has a semi-enforced playing order, this means that you have to finish both paths at the first arc to unlock the second scenario (repeating the process on the second arc to unlock the third).
The choices in Sakura Sakura are devided between the in-game map and choice selection dialogues, options will be marked as such:
'#'=Is an action on the map
'-'=Are dialogue options (some of them will only appear when you start a sub-route so beware!)
[]=Honorifics (the choice changes depending on whether the honorifics are turned ON or OFF)
NOTE: Map options marked with a "(Sub-route)" by their side aren't required for progression. Any other choices are.
Sub-routes aren't required for story progression, they work like side stories of sorts, but are recommended for the unlocking of the final scenario and achievement completion (see bottom of the guide).
If you're confused on where are the locations on the map you can check this image for reference (Credits: Sol Press).
    ***Walkthrough***

~The beginning of Sakura Sakura~ (Sakura Kirishima and Nanako Sakura)

*The next arc will only becomes available after finishing all the routes in "The beginning of Sakura Sakura". Start a new game and choose "Childhood Friend Love Triangle Battle!".

~Childhood Friend Love Triangle Battle!~ (Akira Nitta and Kurumi Tachibana)

*The next arc will only become available after finishing all the routes in "The beginning of Sakura Sakura" and "Childhood Friend Love Triangle Battle!". Start a new game and choose "It's been one year since Tohru met both Sakuras." (Choose the fourth option for Kirishima and the third for Nanako). It is highly recommended that you read Kirishima's path before Nanako's.

SeniorBlitz reacted to MaggieROBOT in What are the best visual novels that were released in 2018?
On the "games for girls" side of things, I think 2018 was a pretty solid year.
We got the localization of both Psychedelica games, and Sweet Pool recently. For Japanese releases, there were Cendrillon Palika as a Switch exclusive (as the Vita is dying in the West because Sony itself is trying to kill it, it's a good thing to expand the market), Piofiore no Banshou, a fandisk for Collar x Malice, and some great BL games from first-time developers, like Mahoutsukai to Tenshi to Akuma and Nie no Machi.

SeniorBlitz reacted to Clephas in Clephas List: VNs with a Unique/Capable protagonist
Perhaps the most universal complaint of those who read Japanese VNs, regardless of their tastes, is the bland, non-people, average protagonists that make up better than 90% of all VN protagonists.  This trend began with the first moege, as a technique to allow people to self-insert more easily, but the tradition has worked against VNs more than it has worked for them, with protagonists with unique quirks turning out to be almost as important to a VN's lasting popularity as heroine quality.
Unfortunately for those new to VNs, it is impossible to tell at a glance whether a protagonist will be interesting or not based on the cover, since most protagonists don't have a tachie, voice-acting, or a character description on the official site, lol.
So, as a service to my fellow Fuwans, I decided to go ahead and make this list.  The greater majority of these games will be untranslated, but I will go ahead and list ones that are translated that I know of.  Feel free to help me add to the list, though this one is for Japanese-origin games, not EVNs.
The baseline for these protagonists will be that they are either unique, unusual, or capable (intelligent, talented, and/or skilled at something and have something approaching a personality) without deliberate nerfing of their qualities to make heroines stand out more.  Harem protagonists who are merely kind to everyone will not count for the purpose of this list, and characters whose personality/capabilities/talents/skills get toned down in the heroine routes will also not qualify.

    Majikoi
