  1. Oops, sorry, didn't saw it. Well, I don't really know what exactly this .dll do, but by it's name seems to be something about hooking games? My antivirus didn't flagged anything as malicious and nothing happened to my computer until now. So I guess it's safe? I don't know if the old VNR had this .dll either. And about the login: When you create an account, you have to use a new name and link it to your "old name" (aka your sakuradite account), right? In VNR you have to login with your old name (and maybe old password, I'm not sure since I used the same password). BUT in AniClan you have to login with your new name and new password.
  2. I can understand you since I only finished that Fate manga pretty much a year later just for the sake of finishing it. So read Melty Blood! Act Cadenza and Actress Again versions (what's up with these names?) are also pretty good fighting games, if you like it!
  3. I would say Melty Blood, but since you already started the manga, finish it. It shouldn't take that long.
  4. First of all, do you had a sakuradite account? In VNR you have to login with your sakuradite username if you synchronized accounts. But I noticed sometimes login is kinda buggy, so restarting VNR may do the trick. And lastly, if you don't plan to add any subs or terms in the shared dictionary, you don't really need to login. Hope it helps!
  5. When the novel is open and running, with text displaying, go to te side menu, and go to "Menu" then "Text Preferences". Change the text thread to UTF16 or anything that displays the right text. Some pics for help in this thread: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/17863-vnr-text-problem
  6. I can't wait to see Digimon Tri! Maybe I'll eventually watch Touken Ranbu and Fate/Apocrypha when more episodes are out.
  7. Yes. Dal Segno in the Future was released early this year, so probably it's just not in the database yet. The subs will work normaly, but you maybe have to select the right text thread manually. After that, you can add the game in the database yourself. In the springboard, select the icon of the game, the Info (bottom of the springboard), then Edit, then Add.
  8. Some years back, I thought that VNs were boring games since there's nothing for you to "play". I'm glad I realized how wrong I was. I decide to give it a try after reading the mess that was the Fate/Stay Night manga. Even without reading the original, I could see they didn't do a very good job telling that story. And I never stopped ever since! And now I'm always seeking something new to read, no genre prejudice. Soooo, I guess what I seek is enjoyment. Some VNs have better stories, others have better characters, others have nothing really good but it's good for some laughs. All is fair, as long I enjoyed it!
  9. Check your anti virus. It may be flagging it as malicious or something and erasing the exe (don't worry, it's safe).
  10. Well, I'll put the solution I found when this happened to me before, but keep in mind that it was with a completely different game, so it's not guaranteed that will work with Majikoi. In the text preferences screen, see those boxes with japanese characters? Advance the text in the game until you find one with exactly the same text as the game. Mark that box as "dialog" and then select the first choice at the top of this window "Keep all text threads...". VNR will give you a warning, but you're free to ignore. Save your changes and leave this window. Advance the text or reload your save file and VNR (hopefully) will display your subs.
  11. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6162278?hl=en https://www.youtube.com/yt/policyandsafety/communityguidelines.html Copyright infringement is in their community guidelines and, yes, you can be banned because of it. That's probably it.
  12. I'm not sure if this will work, but in the text preferences screen (the same one of this option) look at those box with the game text. And mark as "dialog" one that doesn't have duplicate text then save. If the right box didn't appear, advance the text a bit until it shows.
  13. Did you look at the text threads option? Choose "UTF-16" instead of "Japanese-whatever-it-is". Or the other way around, if "UTF-16" is already selected.
  14. It really depends on the novel. Some have really difficult japanese, so you really shouldn't try on those... But others have fairly simple sentence structure, and VNR works pretty good for a machine translation. Using some really really random percentage, I would say you'll grasp 70~80% of the game. But the most important thing is patience, since your reading speed for broken english will be surely slower. What I recommend is to try for yourself and see if you can handle! As Deep Blue said, if you're understanding and enjoying, what other people think shouldn't stop you! Aaand, as I noticed, non-native speakers usually tolerate more broken english. Maybe because we kinda speak like that...? Anyway, good luck in your VNR adventures!
  15. I'm not sure what exactly you're refering to double text, so... 1) If the problem is that each and every japanese character is duplicated: When the novel is open and running, go to te side menu, and go to "Menu" then "Text Preferences". Check the second "Eliminate infinite repetition..." and/or the third option "Ignore infinite cyclic repetition", and then save the changes in the blue "SAVE" button in the top left. 2) If the problem is that the game text is there in the subtitle box: when the novel is open and running, go to te side menu, and go to "Option" then uncheck "Game Text", the first option on the left. 3) If the problem are those blue and green lines that are almost the same: Each one of those lines is for a different dictionary. Disable one of them if you want to see only one translation.
  16. I guess the new guys talks things out in a Discord channel? I'm not really sure... And the link I posted is the older version, but Dangetsu already put the link to the latest version. I'll edit my post, sorry if it was confusing!
  17. Animamundi is not a chuunige, but since you like gothic lolitas, the gothic atmosphere on this one is super nice! As for something more action oriented, maybe Soukou Akki Muramasa?
  18. This definitely sounds suspicious. 150 games don't simply update at the same time, and even if they did, I don't think it "shows" in the download list. Looking through my own list, it seems it puts recent downloads first, since some DLCs I bought last week comes first and my oldest game is at the bottom. I hope you can solve this soon... PSN have tons of security problems, so try using gift cards to buy games instead.
  19. I can't second this enough. In my opinion, drop Comyu. It's just too long for a meh game. It's not really bad, but since you're short on time, skip it.
  20. This thread is a new place for our highly unlikely plot ideas based on our shameful searches to gather. The best ideas in the worst places. And now that I think about it, "prestressed concrete regulations" seems like some kinda prequel to Concrete Revolutio.
  21. Thinks for a second whether should I reply your first question because that's one of the few sentences I understand with my limited german... Nah, I'll not do that. Hey, welcome!!!! It's always nice to find another "girl who plays both BxG eroges and BL" like me I hope you have a fun time here!
