Even the nukige part is actually foreshadowing for some quite interesting concepts of mammal nature. It's perhaps the second most intelligent visual novel I've read, after Subarashiki Hibi... but it has a few problems with how the plot is structured -- almost half of the game is pure exposition (although it's fucking awesome exposition). If you're into anime, it's a lot like Shinsekai yori.
 
You haven't lost much since the writer ends up writing himself into the corner with his whole mystery thing, and comes up with a very convoluted explanation for everything that doesn't even make much sense when you really think about it (not to mention 0 foreshadowing).
Anyway, I hate that writer, I wish FAVORITE would just stick with the Hoshizora guy instead; he at least knows what he's doing.
 
This, basically. It's really fascinating how English VN scene can be so different from JP sometimes. For example, Tsuyokiss would've won the yesterday's poll by a landslide if it was done in egs or 2chan. In any case, I picked all the most well-regarded titles in Japan that have no translation yet, and I'm very interested to see how the west interprets them.

Plenty of ones I agree with already mentioned. In addition - I can't stand when a beautifully executed romance and touching sex scene then deteriorates into doing it in public places.

My favorite genres/vns always tend to be the ones with an interesting and proactive protagonist, like Yuuji from Grisaia, Azai from G-senjou or even Akihito from Comyu, dont know what to call VNs like those though

and not to mention when u look scroll up to see the log and mouse over a previously read dialogue the sprite also changes, was refreshing to see

I loved Grisaia's common route. Maybe I'm a sucker for that kind of comedy, but I was laughing at it every 5 minutes.

Meanwhile if I try to do a thread like this everyone just calls me salty and angry. 

There are those moments where you've seen it at least 900 billion times to the point you can predict everything what's going to happen even the character dialogues. What are some VN kinks, tropes, cliches, stereotypes, and common logic flaws you want to be toned down or even completely eliminated? Well I have probably 100+ but I'll post my top 5 for now and reply/add more as I see people post theirs.
1. School setting - Does "everything" have to happen in school mainly in high school? Umineko, Ever17, and Steins;Gate disagree. You can have a great plot while in college, workplace, or outside of school. Make more original settings please Japanese Devs. Heck, even a vn that happens in the bathroom, in church/mosque, or under a bridge is better than in (high) school.  
2. Protagonist walks into a room, sees a heroine naked - "Ecchi, hentai, baka, baka!!!!!" Poor, innocent protagonist is now labeled a pervert. Good bye logic? Wait... Bitch, why don't you lock the room if you don't want to be seen especially if you are aware that a man is in the house?!  
3. "Damee! Yamete!" - Apparently "No!", "Stop!" and "You can't!" means "Yes!", "More!", and "Keep going!" in visual novels' "sexy" time? Imagine if the protagonist actually stops every time she says that? That would be absolutely hysterical.  
4. Alone/Unhappy protagonist - Maybe a good 95% VN protagonists start out as a single man, poor, loner, and/or a virgin. Can there be a vn where the protagonist is already successful and actually a socialite? It might look like there's not much to work with the story, but successful, rich socialites have problems too you know.  
5. Dates with heroines are linear/predictable - only consists of shopping, going to restaurants, movies (almost all VN dates have this), and possibly a love hotel if the date nails a critical hit.  Not sure if the storywriters have been in dates before, but I can think of 50+ other things I could do while dating, not just those 3-4 things. 

why so much complaining,i thought fuwa's community was better than this.......just stfu and let them do their work.
 
And as many have said before,if u think u can do a better job then go do it instead of typing all these pointless comments -_-

Just finished Ep.24. It's too bad that Tatsumi was killed. I was hoping good end for him and Akame, but it looks like Esdeath was only lucky one. At the end she gets Tatsumi for herself :]. 
Hope that manga will not end up like this.

I agree with Clephas,i enjoyed it in the begining but after they started going in other games it became annoying. Asuna became more or less a useless character then they did that stupid drama with his sister

The new one i havent watched past episode 2 yet,felt like they were pointlessly dragging out everything

I think the only time I have ever spoken outloud or had a moment to myself in a visual novel was when Sharin no Kuni revealed its plot twist. I had to get up and grab a drink of water for that.

Grisaia,it lasted me 20 days and is long enough but still i liked the writing so much xD almost felt like reading a book a times (props to the translator here too!)

Well, I can only say, they are years too late.
 
Today anime is distributed mostly by torrents and other distributed ways. It perhaps worked back when people downloaded things through direct connect. But thanks to pirate-hunters the downloads have left those fields.
 
The torrents will be intact, and new indexing sites will pop up, it's like gardening in a forest. And they'll probably focus on the most mainstream material, which pops up faster.
 
And personally I don't see VN/eroge targeted at all.

Tokyo Ghouls censorship makes it annoying :/ its a gore series why would u even censor it so much.

Rail Wars is better than i thought,not much mindless fanservice here. I got pretty hooked in the story
