Yeah the only thing that I remember about common route is one of the most boring VN experience I ever had. As for the rest of the game, it suck big time, for me the biggest mystery the protag was himself, his personality was absolutely different on routes also the pacing was really all over the place, it almost felt like different people wrote the routes... Later learned that was indeed the case..... Another thing I have rarely seen so bad,was the chemistry with quite few girls, simply awful forced (makina?, the blonde hair girl, the maid) 

Unfortunately hardly anything get translated. For us people who dont know japanese, Visual Novels cannot be ever more than some sideline hobby 99% of VNs never make it to english, sure you can try to learn jp but thats really so horribly hard that most of people cant do it, so better to just forget about untranslated stuff, and maybe keep a little hope that after 5-10 years you will read the title is translated, so finally can play it, however most likely will be never translated. This is what it means to be non-jp VN fan.

And don't forget the "gentle kingdom" and "everyone is alone" lines...
And his name was Gasai, Caesar was his alias. God, he was the best character and I really wanted a route where the MC sided with him. Maybe that would make the novel better! Such a waste...

RED COLOR, now thats epic how could I forget that line,,,, MC has no equal when comes to annoyance. 
Yeah I remember the interesting one was called "Caesar", MC targeted him basically without reason spouting pretentious bullsh.t, just was another nail in the coffin for the game.

Shiny days sounds good. 
Read Koichoco if you haven't already. The reaction Chisato has is worth it in almost every route. 

Draw your own conclusion

My guess would be that MG will wait until Maggot Baits gets released, to see how the sales go before licensing another dark title like that. Hopefully it sells well. (I know I'm buying it the second it comes out, even though I already own the JP version )
 
More dark-themed titles such as those games would be fantastic indeed. The western market really doesn't have enough of them.

Hm, there's a few. 
I'd suggest checking out Tamanin Yukikaze if you haven't already. Depending on your reactions to that one I could recommend more translated stuff.
