Though Sengoku Rance is not offically TLed yet , i'd play Rance VI if you're interested in the series. I'm currently playing Evenicle and it's very good. I also tried Tears to Tiara too, which is a nice option too. Yumina the eternal is a good choice as well , hard to get used tough.

At least there's the back story of how the prota met the heroines. A big load of crap, yet the prota is forced to changee his lifestyle nevertheless. On the other hand there're VN in which your sole purpose from the get go is to fall in love (hatsukoi 1/1, lovely/pretty x cation series).

Know what you mean , though in this particular case that's the appealing side of MML , or seems to me at least. However, in Saku saku 's case i was pretty much dissappointed with Ann's alter ego.

I found the explanation pretty simple yet solid. So , the pretty/lovely x cation series would fit into pure moege, and magical marriage lunatics into charage ?

Does the problem occur when saving or loading quicksaved data ??

I guess Hoshimemo could fit the ghost heroine requirement, with a decent amount of comedy as well. Sorcery Jokers with dual protagonist (one's a lawful good idiot and the other a badass) system seemed good to me, and you could also call Noah a ghost, though i don't want to throw any spoilers. And also badass heroines. The masterpiece Dies Irae, with Marie though not being a ghost but an undying human, may could fit. Not to say the plot and story it's simply amazing. And i'm having a lot of fun with Tsujidou-san's these days. Really good comedy, to me at least.

Do not take DC 1 as reference for DC 2 and DC 3, those are way better as @Flutterz mentioned. In my case I started backwards, from DC 3 > DC 2 > DC1 , and honestly, i just played sakura's route out of respect. 2 and 3 are worth the time.

The software you use depends on the game engine. When i tried to extract dies irae's files i used Garbro. Here's a list of the extension that work with garbro, maybe you find you VN there. https://morkt.github.io/GARbro/supported.html

If you're into samurai stuff and edo era you can try Chusingura. It also has very good humor. Also, Fate/Stay Night is a title that won't dissappoint you in any aspect.

Grisaia no kajitsu, which i found very entertaining. Back then i only consumed few anime series and manga and was always fond to reading books. So VNs gave me a format in which i could enjoy of a story with a level of detail similar to the books, with the aditional features of anime characters and humor.

I'm hoping another title from the rance series, hopefully the remake of rance III.
