  1. There are very good western VNs with a western settings: Life is Strange, The Walking Dead, Heavy Rain, Until Dawn, etc.
  2. Well there it is. 4 fucking years waiting and a lot of work put into it to see it finished ,but totally worth it. Now look forward to Majikoi S in 2019 xD.
  3. You can insert the text of Majikoi S into a prepared majikoi file for the unpack, and after the recompile, manually insert the text into the majikoi S original file. It's easy enough because the text in the .bin begin and end similarly. I haven't fully tested it yet but there shouldn't be problems.
  4. Shouldn't be so difficult. I tested some days ago and i think i can extract the text of S like in Majikoi, so instead of the translator creating a .txt with the text, he can directly translate this files.
  5. Don't panic people. We are going really fast with the patching. And if necessary we can make the patching at the same time that Ouraibaa make the QC.

  7. Doesn't look like there are problems with text size. And the line breaks doesn't look too difficult, the program read and insert letter by letter so after for example 20 characters of a line i told the program to introduce a line jump and it should work without problem. Anyway i still don't know what the translation team want to do, but i think the default result that the program at present do is ok, it overflows a little by the right margin but doesn't look too bad.

There is no room for "August 16th (Sun.)" because it's not a line of the text of this file, so you have to find it manually and delete it.
  9. Rejoice people, it works!. it still need some tunning, like changing the names and positioning correctly the text, but the most difficult work is already done.

  12. Well, here we go. Shouichi route inserted with the program. http://www.mediafire.com/download/jl254pvy55qq7xw/script.rar Can someone confirm to me if it works? it's not important yet if the text is well placed but only if its work the whole route without crashes and if the text is inserted.
  13. I have already made a Script and it work. it still requires some manual work but a lot less than inserting it all. The problem is that the extracted script have some lines that the file with the translation don't have, so i am trying to localice what the extra lines are. If i resolve it things should go much more fast, even doing a whole route in 3 or 4 hours.
  14. I have already extracted all the text but i need a little help now. I need someone that test if it works. Drop this Script.pac: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jl254pvy55qq7xw/script.rar into the majikoi folder, overwrite it(make a copy first of the Original Script.pac) and in the prologue all text with "Yamato" should be replaced with "Yamatoh"(for testing replacing text) and i need to know if the game enter without problem in any of the routes after the prologue. I would do it myself but i didn't play any of the routes and i don't want to spoil me xD.
  15. Good news. I succeeded to extract the text and repack it with the changes. i am doing it in a rather rudimentary way so it will take a little time to extract all.
  16. No no xD. If i am not mistaken the "slaves" are inserting the translation into a .bin files. What i can do is merge these files into the original Script.pac so the game can work. I have no means to automatically insert the text so they still have to manually insert it.
  17. Well, i finally managed to recompile the .pac so if the translation team finish inserting the text i can recompile it.
  18. I am trying to help doing the patch, but until Azengar connect and send me the tools and explain me the process i can't do much. Gadgetfeak is helping too, he made a program for the repatch, but i don't know if it work until i talk to him.
  19. Didn't Kosuna send you a backup with the progress? Why not give it to Dowolf so he can finish and check it for errors?. It's more fast, Dowolf don't get bored and the work of Kosuna is not lost if Dowolf finish it first.
  20. If his english is not good maybe the meaning of some sentences will be changed and QC can't fix that. If Dowolf english is better i would use his. A delayed translation is eventually good, a bad translation is bad forever.
