  1. Yeah, it's under scenario. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6rrDy33xQSMYUxoYW0zUlRTNTQ
  2. Inside this data.xp3 contains the scripts. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6rrDy33xQSMS1ZsWldseEVWaHM
  3. I'm having trouble extracting the scripts from the visual novel Aisai Nikki made by OrcSoft. I've tried using tools like AnimeEd, kikiriki, Crass, and ExtractData. All of them ended up with me able to successfully extract the images, bgms, and sounds from the game, but the scripts are all gibberish. Naturally, this means that none of the tools have the correct key to decrypt the scripts from the game. If anyone knows how to write a decryption code for this game, please let me know! I'd really like to learn how to write one someday.
  4. Hi everyone, Chapter 1 is still undergoing proofreading stage, but the translations are done for Chapter 1. I'm currently finishing up translating Chapter 2 and will probably finish by the end of this month. Chapter 3 is my goal for December. We'll make a more formal update when we finish proofreading Chapter 1 (estimated to also be by the end of this month). In the meantime, here is a sample I took from Chapter 1 to show our progress. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PU2XQ2IeQkY
  5. We've formed a translation group and we're going to continue regardless of what Ren's doing but we've messaged him about the status of his project. If he's still continuing and has some other translators/coders we can work with, we may investigate our groups working together.
  6. Hey, Supok1, I just saw what happened over at the WordPress site, I guess this is where we'll be working from now on. For everyone who's wondering, yes I'm not fluent, but rather still a student in Japanese (currently 2 years in going on 3). I am just translating this project for my own practice, sorry if I disappointed everyone. If you have played the AoKana game before and have read my google docs prologue script, I'd really appreciate it if you give me feedback on my translations. Here is the link to my prologue: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LI3Ak1poyMQ5LKFe2IRiOoTqSDeqzMNM
  7. Hey, Albert here. I'm also new here, but I guess this is where I'll post my updates for where I'm at in the translations: Chapter 1: 711/1415 completed (~50% done)
  8. I've been kind of doing my own thing. I don't have the skills or knowledge to implement the translations into the video game, and I'm not exactly fluent in Japanese, but what I can do is present the visual novel in a light novel format. If you're ok with that, then I have already worked on the prologue in a google docs if you wish to read it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LI3Ak1poyMQ5LKFe2IRiOoTqSDeqzMNMlvdz-BFHOK0/edit?usp=sharing If you'd rather just wait to actually play the game yourself, then that's fine. This is kind of something I've already committed myself to doing
