  1. I have all of the necessary files from ***no links pls*** when I unzip them I am somehow installing them improperly. I get a blue box with ??????? (????) and a little grey box with syntax error as well as a very small box with some icons and a white "X" in a circle. I extracted each part to C:/Program Files(x86)/fate stay night realta nua/fate stay night realta nua fate C:/Program Files(x86)/fate stay night realta nua/fate stay night realta nua unlimited blade works C:/Program Files(x86)/fate stay night realta nua/fate stay night realta nua heavens feel I then extracted each crack one at a time. I renamed the .exe to whatever appeared in the folder and chose yes to overwrite so I should have the appropriate .exe and data.x3 files in the right place. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. EDIT: I think I found the solution.
  2. Has there been, or are there planned to be, any new novels ported to the VNDS Interpreter for Android?
  3. I tried the newest versions and they don't support the crosshair interface. Even with the CPU or GPU settings.
  4. The oldest build that shows up on there for me is 9.7. I tried the official 9.6 there but that doesn't work. Is there a link to archived builds or another way to get the v0.9.6-548-gf53ef47 and does it work on Android? I played through this game using the much older build and it was extremely buggy and slow.
  5. I had Steins;Gate installed from the app store and started with the first patch. Now that the translation is complete I wanted to update. I followed the directions and it says: - Must purchase app - Restoring Transactions and crashes. Any help?
  6. Will I have any problems accessing all of the routes with VNDS on Android? I played through the Fate scenario and want to continue but want to make sure that the new dialogue options would be unlocked.
  7. Hmm, whatever it was, a reinstall solved the problem...thanks. Hopefully we can see the rest of this translated.
  8. Just finished Dangan Ronpa and enjoyed it. Hopefully the sequel gets translated. I enjoy these, and similar, games. I've finished 999 and am going to pick up Virtue's Last Reward. I'm also still working on Fate/Stay Night
  9. http://tldr.aloneunix.ru/2013/09/14/steinsgate-english-patch-android-demo/ I tried placing the unzipped files from here to the correct directory. I just downloaded the Steins;Gate from the Google Play store. Is there a separate Demo apk or should I just use the full apk from the Google Play store? I'm getting the menus in English but all of the text is still in Japanese. Has anyone had success with this?
  10. I have plenty of room on my device with a 64 gig card but I cannot seem to create a virtual hdd file readable by Dosbox that is big enough to house the game. If you know how to do that then let me know and I would be able to try.
  11. I could try it if someone could tell me how to create an hdd.img file greater than 2GB. I have a decent device, but it will still be slow. It would be more of a proof of concept situation.
  12. Thanks for the file. I still cannot access the site.
  13. You can (I think) use rendering resolution on newer builds to better the visuals...described at point 7 here http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5236 but I think that increasing it causes a good bit of slowdown on most android devices.
  14. I'm trying to get a VNDS converter for Ever17 but I cannot access the 1.1.2 version from the site. Has anyone else had problems? It keeps saying no data received.
  15. I've tried the newer 0.9.5-96gae27874 build on my Android and no matter which selection I choose (non-buffered, buffered, to CPU, or to GPU) I cannot get the X to confirm anything when using the crosshairs. I'm able to get it to work with v0.8.1-642-g8f84907. I'm working with that older build now to see about increasing the quality. I changed the CPU to 222 in the ppsspp.ini and set frameskip to 2 which makes it pretty playable.
  16. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of VN4ALL. Granted, VNDS doesn't provide the full experience but at the moment it is the best way for me to play, which happens to be on the go.
  17. Yeah...that is exactly what happened. The conversation went something like this.... Me: I'm trying to play Ever17 on Dosbox Turbo but the file is too big. TC: Links to Ever17 on google play. "Does no one google anymore?" Me: I am aware of that but I don't speak Japanese and this and others have english patches for PC. TC: (and I'm not exaggerating his reply) I blocked you on youtube and I don't want to help you with your porn so stop posting. Me: I like the supernatural and mystery games so unless you consider games like 999 and corpse party "porn" (in which case I have severe concerns for your love life). But don't worry I will not post further since, despite your knowledge of android programming, your ignorance of other things is apparent TC: Stop posting you pervert. You like to look at little boys and girls. Go away and get a life, although I know you never will. at that point I reported him to the mod and things were deleted and I just walked away.
  18. @ Chaos I followed the instructions to install Tsukihime for VNDS here: http://visualnovelaer.fuwanovel.net/category/android/ and it booted right up. I downloaded the files and then created a Tsukihime folder on my desktop. I extracted all of the files here, making sure to do the hi-res one last. Then I deleted the tsukihime-other.zip, tsukihime-ogg.zip, and tsukihime_hi-res.zip...making sure to keep the 11 files specified in the link. I then transfered the Tsukihime folder to my vnds/novels folder and it worked fine. I would try starting over with new downloads. If you haven't done much else with VNDS, maybe try to uninstall and reinstall. I'll give any help I can. Good luck.
  19. Alcatel One Touch idol Ultra runs a dual core 1.2ghz cortex a9 processor with 1gb ram. I'm running a 1.3ghz device with 1gb ram so and mine runs slowly so, unfortunately, don't expect much (at least for now) out of the dosbox turbo option. If you swipe from the left of the screen you should have the option to increase frameskip, cycle speed, as well as other options. If you edit the dosbox.ini file and increase ram from 256 to 512 you can get a bit more speed. Trying to push mine to peak performance I still couldn't get good speed out of it with sound. With the VNDS my only recommendation would be to start fresh with the downloads. Have you had any success with other VNs on the VNDS or is it just this one in particular. Like I said...tomorrow I should be able to follow the steps myself but until then I cannot be of much help on that specific game. I've only loaded Ever17, F/SN, and Never7 thusfar.
  20. What kind of device are you running with onscripter. I found that, with sound, that Tsukihime ran slow and choppy. If you increase the cycles through the quick menu does it progress after that? As for the VNDS, Tay would probably be able to help you out moreso. I can try to install it tomorrow and see if I have any issues. I know when I first started using VNDS I would always extract everything in to an extra folder and couldn't figure out why it wasn't appearing in the app. After realizing my foible regarding the path I haven't had a problem since.
  21. Welcome. I'm rather new around here myself and have just started with a few VNs. I've done some similar games on NDS and PSP like 999, Ace Attorney, Corpse Party, but have only completed Ever17 (highly recommended) and am working on Fate/Stay Night. Both are very good. Cheers
  22. Yeah, it looks like...at least through this method, we need devices to progress a little more. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for the patch for Ever17 on Android and also the program you mentioned that could convert to Android. I really love VNDS. I like how all of the text is at the bottom of the screen and most of all I like that it is portable and I can read it at work, when I have the most time to do so. When working on the DB Turbo I started running them on my PC and let's just say I didn't know what I was missing.
