  1. Lay offs and restructuring are not a rare occurence in the american workplace.
  2. ...in French! You can find le links to le download le here: https://github.com/IDerr/mahoyo-french/releases Meanwhile Commie Subs and co. Well at least Mcjon01 took one for the team and took it upon himself to release a partial patch that covers chapters 1-7 (about 35% of the total game or so). You can find Mcjon01 (english) patch here: https://mega.nz/#F!loBEBJDB!LMlgzDXX_ZnnRtnKFbXhQQ
  3. Nobody knows? I wanted to play Tsukihime, but lack of auto-read is annoying. I pushed like almost all of the buttons on my keyboard but NOTHING seem to enable auto-read.
  4. Demonbane Robo Waifu Kikokugai has quite a bit of Robo waifus as well Princess X She's not a Robot during the main game, but there's also Sora the holographic AI from Ever17 Just looked at a screenshot on vndb, but of course even robots can be virgins in Majikoi!
  5. The developers themselves said it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/igrasilstudio/bloody-chronicles-visual-novel/posts/2256545
  6. It's not, here is a quote regarding this matter from the developer of said VN:
  7. The game is apparently also coming out officially in chinese too. Maybe MangaGamer was approached by SukeraSparo rather than the other way around? Their only game was Amrilato so far and it's All-Age, I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted their game to have a worldwide release in all the major languages (which would be Chinese and English). They even retweeted MangaGamer tweet about the game announcement on their twitter. They also have another game coming this year called "Itsuka no Memoraĵo", which is a prequel to Amrilato and is All Ages as well.
  8. Well THAT'S the problem and why you are seeing so many crappy "official" translations.
  9. It's interesting that they chose to license a 2nd ChuableSoft title especially one of this size, when they didn't manage to release the first one and see how it would do in terms of sales.
  10. What button should I push to get auto-read in Tsukihime? I tried all the A, B, C, D... on my keyboard, I found a few shortcuts, but none of them seem to be for auto-read. F is for Full-Screen, S is to Skip and so and so. Pressing the "A" key does not work.
  11. https://old.reddit.com/r/visualnovels/comments/967edo/your_diary_translation_quality/
  12. I would be interested in the Chuablesoft game (Farther than the Blue Sky) and The Expression Amrilato (even though I am not really interested in the genre, it looks like it could be interesting enough).
  13. In Japan the term that is more used is "Girls Love", or "GL". Shoujo Kakumei Utena would be considered as "Girls Love" for example, because it has no sex.
  14. Yeah... You can pretty much see that by how the vndb votes are going, tons of votes and it's like in the top 10 of highest rated VNs on vndb, yet only 2-3k people own it on Steam (which include the Kickstarter backers which redeemed their Steam code that they got from pledging for a digital copy of the game on Kickstarter). Unless a title already reached international renown (such as Steins;Gate, CLANNAD, Umineko) most people probably are only ready to pay big bucks for pure eroges and moeges, rather than story titles such as Subarashiki Hibi, Little Busters, Tokyo Babel, Rewrite, Gahkthun, SeaBed and such.
  15. Dunno, but Shoujo Ai is a japanese word and is used as actually categories on alot of sites such as manga, anime, visual novels websites, it's certainly more accurate than "Lesbian", which is an english word and isn't very widely used in Japan due to it being considered boorish/vulgar (pronounced "re-zu-bi-en").
  16. Good catch! This is MangaGamer counter attack against Flowers.
  17. The right terms are "Shoujo Ai" and "Yuri", Shoujo Ai has no sex wehereas Yuri has sex.
  18. When playing in Auto-Mode the voices keep getting cut, is there any settings that makes it so that the text box waits until a voice is done before continuing to the next text?
  19. Everybody wants to use Steam, I am guessing it's because it will get their games the most coverage and sales. Sol Press ABSOLUTELY wanted Newton to release on Steam first and foremost, you can see it in their wording on their twitter and kickstarter updates when asked about it, as a matter of fact as of now they have no plan to release it anywhere else.
  20. I never insinuated any of this, however it is clear that they try not to talk about it at all, I am guessing they won't talk nor mention anything about it until the game releases on the 15th, then at that time they'll just release the patch like if it's the most natural thing in the world, it's all pretty hush-hush, probably because they just don't want to take any risks especially when Steam isn't clear at all about their do's and don'ts policies. I don't get why Americans hate the show, I am guessing it hits too close to home, eh? This show is pretty popular in Germany and France, here's a sample of the german version:
  21. Newton and The Apple Tree release had been withheld by Steam for 3 months or so, now it will finally release on the 15th August, still no word on 18+ support as Sol Press is remaining silent on that matter (looks like they really are afraid of Steam using that as an excuse to remove the game). Now another VN who has been the victim of the anti-animu Steam policy where Steam takes months to try and find faults in anything and everything about it, the development of the game has been completed since the beginning of this year, and it has been trying to be approved for release on Steam since March, it's release has since been withheld and still nothing is known about the game release date, one issue that Steam pointed to the dev was over the fact that there is a CG where the protagonist is wearing speedos and a part of his back can be seen: Meanwhile non-anime western games with upfront nudity and gratuitous sex scenes are still on the store, uncensored and uncut. Steam really hates anime don't they? This nonsense reminds me of that Married with Children episode (skip to 12:30 for the relevant part):
  22. No, it's Makura, it's already been confirmed by someone that works at MangaGamer.
