Finished the first part of clannad, now my review of it.
Misae Route : Misae is bae.
Tomoyo Route : best girl ever /10 i cried seal of approval
Ryou/Kyou route : not enough Kyou who's super Kyoute /10 i cried seal of approval
Yukine : Meh/10
Kappei : i'm not gay but i cried /10
sunohara sibling : i'm not a lolicon/10
Kotomi Ichinose : Best route/10, i cried seal of approval
Fuuko Ibuki : I'm not a lolicon /10, who's Fuuko?
Koumura : Wat/10
Nagisa Furukawa : Cute/10 i liked it.
 
Now, starting after story. 

Oh my god, what an utter, cheesy, corny, sweet as fuck, piece of garbage. Really "fits" the visuals.

Since I don't know if Sekai is bringing over the full products or not I just cannot be excited for what they have announced. I have no issues with supporting them, but I don't buy censored games. 

You should eat a chicken sandwich for each day spend in game to honor Takeshi's cooking skills.

For me it's something like this:
MangaGamer day 1 purchase: Hapymaher, SukiSuki, Imouto Paradise 2 and Sorcery jokers. Maybe tier: Sona-nyl and D.S. Dal Segno.
SekaiProject day 1 purchase: Boku to Koi Suru Ponkotsu Akuma., other titles depend if there is a 18+ release or not.
Degica day 1 purchase: Kimi ga Nozumi Ein.
And yeah I know my taste is strange/trash.

Confession: I manipulated my friend into playing euphoria yesterday.

And lol its rare to find someone who enjoyed the common route of Ever17.

After reading for 3 days straight I finished Ever17. It's one of those VNs which I start to read and suddenly it's 1 am and I notice that I've been reading for 4-5 hours straight. First thing that I noticed was that it doesn't waste my time. I started reading and in less than an hour, BAM you're trapped. Enjoy! There is no long and boring common route story for the characters which can sometimes kill a VN's enjoyment for me. The story captures you and doesn't let you go until the end. Another thing that I really liked were the philosophical questions. It reminded me of how much I loved Ghost in the Shell's philosophical aspect. I enjoyed Sora's route the most, maybe it's because of the VA Hiroko Kasahara (Phorni from Symphonic Rain). Overall Ever17 was a great read and it's been a while since I enjoyed reading through a VN without getting bored.
As for my next read... I guess I'll give Canvas 2 a try.

It kinda became a meme on steam like Nekopara. I have friends who pretty much buy any Sakura game on day 1. Oh and those people aren't VN readers at all. They only want to be part of the ''club'', at least thats what some of them told me when I asked them why do they buy Sakura.

I think he's ignoring the elephant in the room: that if games are made with a Steam release in mind, that this necessarily limits the creative process.  There's game concepts that don't work (or would be considered inappropriate) when your target platform is Steam: Ikusa Megami Zero, Sengoku Rance, and the Venus Blood series, just to name a few of my favorites.  Games being modularly designed with excisable ero content is a very real concern of mine.
This highlights a more fundamental issue: that many of us like Japanese games for the reason that they deal with different sorts of themes and they're not bound by Western cultural values.  As soon as they start consciously targeting the Western audience, they'll dilute the qualities that make the games appealing to us (fans of niche Japanese entertainment) in the first place.  They tried to reassure us that this wasn't the case, but in the big scheme of things I'm not convinced.
