  1. From Sekai Project's announcements, I think Fatal Twelve sounds like it could be interesting, and I would like to hear more about it. I'm glad to hear that they are going to bring the whole Narcissu 10 Anniversary Anthology Project to the Vita as well; more VNs that I can play on the Vita is always good! Hooray! It sounds like MangaGamer is going to be releasing a lot of interesting things soon! Glad to hear Sono-Nyl was announced since that sounds like something I would enjoy. Not familiar with Hapymaher or Sorcery Jokers, but it sounds like they are very good games. I will have to look into those.
  2. I would bring 11eyes and other games related to it like 3days and Liber 7. A lot of Lass's titles have always looked really interesting to me, and I think it would be awesome if they were released outside of Japan! The Kamaitachi no Yoru series would be awesome too as well as more of the Science Adventure series and the Infinity series.
  3. After hearing about it a lot on here, I decided to play Katawa Shoujo! I just finished Act 1 and got to Lily's route. I find myself liking Lily and Hanako the most, so I am happy I got one of their routes as my first one.
  4. I was in this position about a year and a half ago. I ended up choosing the PS Vita, and I don't regret it at all. I would recommend it to you as well. If possible, try to get one of the Vita's with the OLED screen. I haven't played the slim, but I know several people that have said the OLED screen is better than the one on the slim. The Vita also has a lot more VNs available on it too! There are some extremely good ones like the Danganronpa series, VLR, Steins;Gate and more. It is also worth noting that the Vita is region-free and the 3DS is not, so if there is a VN or another game that is only released in Japan, you can import it and play it very easily! If you want a 3DS game from another region, you would need a 3DS from that region. For reference in case this helps at all, here is a list of VNs for Vita in English (either available or coming soon). Here is a list of the ones available for 3DS. Also, FYI, Corpse Party and Corpse Party: Book of Shadows are compatible with the Vita. I have the whole series on mine. I also heard a rumour this month about 999 possibly coming out to the Vita, so let's hope it's true! Based on my experience making this same decision (I found myself making a lot of the same pros/cons as you) and what you are saying, I think the Vita would be a better choice for you, especially if you aren't too interested in the library besides Pokemon and Animal Crossing (Those were the exact same franchises I wanted it for too lol). Even though Sony might not be supporting the Vita too much, there are still a lot of games coming out for it! Depending on what your taste in games is, there might be a lot of great games for you! I hope I helped!
  5. I am still working on Everlasting Summer. I have gotten most of then endings now and have been enjoying myself, although I'm surprised that most of the bad endings were still pretty good; out of the 5 bad ending I went for, three of them were still good, one was extremely short (like two lines), and one was an actual bad ending. I hope more things will be explained in the last few endings. I am just starting Miku's route...apparently the game suddenly changed her name from Miku to Masha for some reason? Weird. 0.o
  6. Yep! I finished Danganronpa 1 and 2 and loved both! The only one I haven't played is Ultra Despair Girls since I have been having trouble finding a copy. :/ That's why I'm thinking of checking it out despite not usually watching anime. I definitely want to know how the trilogy ends, so I want to give it a try; I'm just not sure if it's something I should start now or wait until it's done. o.o I really liked the class trials, but good to know it still has the feel to it! I wonder what is going to happen in this show. I'm also curious what is going to happen in the new game coming out since I assumed that would have been the continuation until I heard about the anime today.
  7. I started playing Everlasting Summer last night for a few hours, and I am liking it so far! The character art looks a bit weird sometimes, but I am enjoying the story. The music is pretty good too!
  8. This sounds pretty interesting! I am intrigued by the wild west setting, so I will definitely be keeping my eye on this one! I went on Steam to give it a Yes vote, and I look forward to hopefully playing this soon!
  9. I am a huge fan of Danganronpa, and I had no idea they were doing the third entry as an anime instead of a game until I saw this topic! I'm not really an anime person (think I've seen two in the past 5 years?), but I am considering watching this since I love the games, plus I want to know what happens. Is this a good anime? If it is, I think I will start watching it now. If not, I will probably try watching it later after all of the episodes have aired.
  10. I haven't played Ar Tonelico, so I will look into that series. I've played some of the Phoenix Wright games on my DS and really enjoyed those! I have not played Duel Destinies since that requires the 3DS, which I do not have. I own Virtue's Last Reward but haven't gotten around to playing it yet; I should probably do that soon! I'll check out Kawata Shoujo! I just looked into Higurashi, and that sounds like an extremely interesting VN! I am a bit confused with how it is released though; is it an episodic thing? I had no idea that Grisaia was coming out to the Vita! Muv-Luv was something that sounded cool to me as well; good to know there are some things coming out in the future! I have not tried Steins;Gate yet, although the whole science adventure series sounds interests me. I bought Chaos;Head a year or two ago, but I learned the hard way that it's not compatible with my computer. :/ Do I need to play Chaos;Head before Stains;Gate?
  11. I have been wanting to play some more visual novels lately, so I am looking for recommendations for ones that I can play. I have not played many, and I want to change that! I am willing to try most things since I am interested in trying different kinds of VNs, although I would prefer something that has little to no sex in it. I do not have a PC at the moment (just a Mac), so any recommendations would need to be either Mac-friendly or compatible with a console I have (I have a DS, PSP, PS Vita, PS2, Xbox 360, and Xbox One). If it helps at all, some things that I have read are 999, Danganronpa, Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, Hatoful Boyfriend, and Xblaze Code: Embryo. Thank you in advance to anyone who helps with recommending something for me to play!
  12. I think Option 9 the best. Amuzie and Decay brought up good points about the information being the most important for a lot of people coming here to learn more about VNs, so the information should come first. The layout for Option 9 has everything together like the walkthroughs/tech help/where to buy it/patches/etc. too, and I think it looks best keeping all of that information in one place instead of some of it at the top and some of it at the bottom.
  13. I am currently playing more Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise. I haven't played it in a long time, so going back to it has been nice. There are so many adorable piñata creatures!
  14. I voted for option 1 since I think having all of the resources at the top looks the best. Option 2 looks pretty nice too, but I prefer the first option to it.
