I was actually kinda on the fence on reading this vn. Even though I am a big fan of propeller after tokyo babel and Evolimit. I wasn't really sure how this vn would fare up against those I've read before. Now I can assuredly play this vn as well.
-
VN's are the greatest at immersion I feel. With the elements of visuals, music, voices combined with loads of text you get a great result. I find it a lot easier to get into a vn than I do a book most of the time.
Although I read books at a regular basis. The main reason I do that is for trying out different genres and classics that might have a intellectual value. But I don't feel so immersed in them, nor do I enjoy them as much.
The best vn's imo are those who combine both interesting ideas and a great story with the immersion of the visual novel medium. It's like you can have your cake and eat it too for me.Even though I like having both, I can enjoy the immersion of being inside a good story. Hananono felt was somewhat like this. I enjoyed the most the interesting setting around the protag, as well as I found discussions with Ouka and things surrounding her. But the drama and story was the majority of the vn, and ofc I enjoyed that as well. But not as much as the latter.

I am honestly okay with moderate trophies stuff in shooters and such, as long as they are somewhat purposeful. Sometimes they give you a good idea to try new things out. Or keeping a score of stuff you haven't done. But most of the time they are a eyesore, randomly popping up when you haven't done shit really. You've wiped your own ass congrats!
I don't mind this on normal games, nor do I think about privacy regarding them. But god damn, I want that shit to stay away from VN's. They don't have any place there lol.

Average is okay at times. Although puking sad doesn't sound like お楽しみ~~

I've read Re:Birth lost from Applique as well. I liked it quite a lot. How do you think it compares to
hananono? It's kinda different setting and such, still interested in more from that company.
Edit: Alright. Doesn't need to be sci-fi for me. As the setting building is good and the surrounding other things you've described as well. I am glad to try this out.

Yup... Now I want to play Dies even more lol. xD

Not really expecting that much from Saga Planets. So either 2 or 3 for me. As Rosenbleu prbly will be good, I am more wondering foremost about Minato Soft.

Sounds like a connectible character you can dwell into the mind of and enjoy the carnage he might create. I fond of totally screwball characters, but this is great as well. (Just noticed this is Light's 15 year anniversary vn. Wow. They are that old now.)

This vn has definitively piqued my interest. Additionally having a asshole protag is more of a pro than a con in my mind haha. Looking forwards to more of your thoughts on the vn.
-
I agree, this is a great anime. Impressive how much they can put in 6 eps lol.

I've read through the vn now, I only read a few omakes as I felt the story was well finished and I didn't want more. I felt it was a satisfying read. But I liked the first 3 routes more due to the others felt more repeating of some of the themes.
The feels hit pretty hard on some moments so I ended up crying multiple times in the vn :'( ぐすぐす
I think the vn gave a good run with the experience in the setting. The other elements also was naturally good and kept the story going. A vn like this could easily have a waaay to long common route, it luckily has a perfect size imo, short that is lol. The routes gives a nice display of different lines of thoughts in the heroines. I had to wryly smile to myself when I found out which heroine I felt fit my line of thoughts in some ways. It felt nice to dwell into the experience of the story because of that. As some of the characters had some real human mindsets.
The immortality setting put a nice change of view in the characters than you'd normally expect. It made it easier I suppose to separate the differences in the characters and thus understand them more. And in a way yourself too.
Some spoiler talk:
I suppose I felt a bit disappointed with the routes after the 桜 chapter. I felt like there would be more great stuff. But I would say that chapter was the high point and kinda finale of the story. The other 2 routes (besides sumire's) felt more flat because you knew most of the story by then. Serika's route was ok, and the Miu's didn't strike me much..
A side note, Clephas you really didn't spoil anything in your review. The VNDB summary actually spoils the entire common route. Yeah vndb summaries are often stupid but still, my point is you made a good review haha.

Son (尊) is possibly the best girl in the series
It brings me glee that you can enjoy the game and enjoy the learning experience. I did the same back when akatsuki no goei was one of my first jp vn's to read as well.

No worries, becoming borderline gay for Kaito is completely normal xD

>_< Seems a all aboard the feels trains. I am guessing it's the last route (no need to answer that xD). Detailed.. Mmmm, very nice to get to know that is out there at the end. So far I am very interested in seeing detailed how a lot of stuff might develop, and the conclusions.
I decided to try the vn out, so far I've read the common route I think. Went pretty smoothly into miyako's path as you said lol. The comedy, characters, setting and interactions is resonating surprisingly well with me. Enjoying the vn a lot so far.
-
Miu and Miyako is perhaps my favorites from the first looks. Rofl copter loli's are always a joy to me. Kinda weak to the shy dere heroines as well..
-
"the way it moves into the heroine routes is so natural you almost don't notice (in fact, you aren't supposed to notice with Miyako's route, since there are no choices on the first playthrough)."
Hahaha, very nice joke. I prbly laughed out loud a lot more than I should have by that.
Nice part 2, a short capable common route and low fillers for the heroine routes. I really like the feel of the vnw is giving off by your descriptions. The setting and characters in it.

Looks a lot more interesting than I'd thought from the cover shot. Looking forwards to the route analysis.

The 0.4.9.r171 version of TA has been around for a while now. At least a year I believe.
One guy I know likes the older version of TA more as it works better on his comp. The newest one starts up like 10x faster though haha.
