I'd like you to continue. Your reviews don't spoil and are clear to the point what the vn's are about. Who might enjoy them, what the good about the vn is, and the bad stuff. Always nice to read them. I think you know how to pace yourself. Steer away more from lower quality stuff when you don't feel like it. Write mini reviews. Drop mediocre vn's midway. etc. I honestly don't want you to go whacking yourself on the head by reading stuff you hate. So in the end, don't over do it.

@Styler00Dollar There was two threads with the same output, so I added them both to try them out. The encode is UTF16 to hex. Oddly enough. When I started up the game again now the old thread didn't work anymore. Not sure why..

Ermmm... I don't really give a shit.

They prbly fall asleep while reading. Then dream about reading a book. Multiple times waking up holding a book, quickly falling asleep again and dreaming about reading again. Ending up thinking the dreaming is actually being awake. After 2-3 hours of napping. You wake up. Realize the book you've been reading has been on the same page all the time. And that the story you've "read" makes no sense at all. The pages you've been reading wasn't actually reading. But dreaming looking at pages with symbols on them. Dreaming I am reading the continuation of the book, thus imaging what will happen next. Asleep brain being what it is. The dream makes no sense at all. Being an animal is pretty troublesome....

Played around some with the different methods. VNR hooking didn't work for me. But hex did. I think Dullian is correct. It doesn't matter if you use PPSPP for the hex. I got hex working on the ppspp as well. Very nice imo. With hex and HAT it's a very easy method to use when you've got it working. It remembered the right hex for me and auto clipboard the text. It becomes like ITH then. Pretty sweet. Only tried it with Dangaronpa 2 so far btw. @Styler00Dollar did you activate MEM_MAPPED in settings of cheat engine? Also HAT seems for some reason to open a cmd window when starting up the cheat engine. It needs to be open for it to work HAT. So don't go closing that folks, lol. I honestly see this as a very cool tool. If you want to read psp vn's/games. You can do that now. At least in the majority of the cases I imagine. Edit: Although In hindsight.. I am not aware of many good console vn's that can be emulated; and are not on pc..

Currently far into reading Fortissimo, Sakuuta (slow poke). Both are very good vn's. Sakuuta really looking forwards to the full version..

If there i an all age and a h-version and without major loss with the all ages. I still read the vn's with h-content, as I dislike removing stuff from the vn.. A few times I read the major parts of them due to story context or hilariousness of the scenes. At times I look forwards to the scenes, but I the end. I always end up skipping them. As they are boring as hell. So in the end I prefer h-content vn's, but skip the h-content. I prefer the uncut version in the end. As for caring about there being h-stuff... I don't really... Give a shit; lol. Read too many vn's. Praise the ctrl. I think Muv luv and loads of vn's are indeed mature stories. They can easily affected younger audiences, thus prbly shouldn't read them. That's a sweeping generalization though. I think it depends a lot on the person how they react to serious stuff. Not everyone should read stuff about torture, rape, killing, massacre, dying, fear, constant fear of dying etc. Saying it's all ages is so wrong in that sense. It just means it doesn't have porn anymore. Acceptable in the west = all ages. It's like the consoles versions in japan. Gotto remove the h-stuff. Then it's A-okay. But then it's 18+ or 17+ or something.

MT's are but a crutch. It's like having an intelligent monkey on a typewriter giving you his translations to you. You try to make sense out of his gibberish english. This does actually work to some degree. But you will never be smarter than the monkey. Damn the monkey, spend a few months practising jp, kick the monkey out of the door and do the entire process yourself. The first months are the biggest hassle, after that it's a better experience than using a MT.

Well this is good news. Negai no Kakera aside, which I haven't played. Tokyo babel I have, and it's a great vn. So more people getting to read it is great. The translator(s) will no doubt have fun looking up all the Christian mythology in the vn.. Some sensitive people might be slightly offended perhaps with the religious stuff that is in the vn though..

I don't think there should occur any major issues. But you might need to find some new workarounds for problems that happens. Main thing if you got a win 7 and have had that for a long time. The most new things I've had to do with win 8. Is to search around for win 8 support patches. I think I had to do that with Ruitomo iirc. That didn't make a lot of sense at the time. But few vn's need a support patch. I don't think all vn's got a win 8 support patch that might need it. So errr. Old vn's 'might' have a higher likelihood to not work on win 10. I am guessing that will happen anyway.

You got the VNR OCR to work? Holy shit lol. For me it was so anal with the small characters it didn't work properly.
