  1. Anyone have some tips for me ? Because I'm incredibly bad at this game holy cow it's not even funny anymore. I think I died to every boss so far like more than 15 times before defeating it. I'm currently at Amelia and I feel absolutely terrible. I played the shit out of dark souls 1 and 3 but this game feels so different, I don't know. I'm wielding ludwigs holy blade and blunderbass atm. My biggest problem is that health recover system. When getting hit, instead of trying to hit the enemy to recover health, I panick so hard and pump that blood vial only to get hit once more and so on...
  2. since I was 15, I wanted to study japanese. I"m still pursuing that goal, so I go to school for 3 more years to get my diploma from german secondary school qualifying for university admission or matriculation.
  3. Paper Mario the thousand year door: It's my favorite game of all time and I doubt that will ever change. I can't count how many times I found myself replaying it and it never felt boring oe repetitive. Dark Souls: The perfect example of well executed world design, extremely deep lore and fantastic difficulty throughout the whole game, never being unfair, just you being bad. The Neptunia games (the 4 main games): They sucked out almost over 600 hours of my life. I seriously enjoyed the games (and not just for the cute girls) EDIT: Forgot to mention the touhou series. Came for the girls. Stayed for the music, lore and gameplay.
  4. As for albums, I can recommend "Ultra Beatdown" and "Sonic Firestorm" As for individual songs, I can recommend you to give a listen to "Defenders", "Symphony of the Night" and "Seaons". Beware though, Defenders, Symphony of the Night and Seasons have a new singer, but I actually like his voice a lot. But I can understand why people say that ZP Theart (the old singer) was better
  5. long live dragonforce one of the best bands ever imo.
  6. Yay! More germans! Welcome! Hope you have fun
  7. Hey there. I see you're from Munich, nice! Hope you have fun here
  8. Dunno. I wanted a name starting with an "S". Found some random japanese words starting with "S" and just picked one that sounded cool to me
  9. Smashlabs.de: the german forum for smash 4. sadly after half a year after the game came out I realized that it sucks competetively and a couple of days ago I deleted my account. Glad I quit it though, the german community of this game is cancer. GermanSmashBoards: the german Melee forum. Although I'm not active there, the community is pretty chill and funny a lot of the times.
  10. Currently playing osu! on a daily basis for a minimum of 3 hours. Trying to improve as hard as I can. My ingame Nick is "Shurui420" if some people wanna add me
  11. Either Umineko or Rewrite. Can't really decide between these two. Nice to see some german people here, too
  12. Currently playing: Super Meat Boy; though I'm just messing around in devmode, practicing some skips/naija movement and other stuff. Other than that also trying to get the damn last 3 deathless achievements... Megadimension Neptunia VII; leveling to 999 is dumb though because of the combo exp bonus being gimped in the non-asian version. Guitar Hero WoR / Rock Band 4; If I wanna feel badass, playing some Megadeth songs in these ones Recently started picking up Payday 2 again due to the new skilltrees.
  13. Hey everyone, nice to meet you all. I've been looking around here recently now and then. Though I'm pretty shy when it comes to introducing myself, I thought I might as well do it since it can't hurt right? So as you can already see, my name is Shurui, I am 18 Years old and I live in Germany. About 3 years ago I started watching Anime and though I watched some really crappy shit, after watching some that are considered "mainstream" or "best of the best" like Death Note, Code Geass, Clannad, Fate/Zero (you get the idea) I started to appreciate the medium pretty much as they were something that I've never seen in any other movie or show before. Then about 6 months ago, a friend of mine told me about these so called "Visual Novels" and I had no idea what that thing was. After searching around for the tag on steam, I found a rather interesting one called "Sound of Drop". Since it was a horror novel it got me interested so I read through it. After I got through it I wanted more of them as it was something completely new to me. So I asked my friend for his Top 5 Novels and he told me of some of the best ones like "Little Busters!", "Umineko", "Rewrite" and so on. I wanted more so I read through them and found myself in awe at how someone was even able to write these things. (I feel like I'm telling completely unnecessary things here, so sorry for that xD) Anyway, you get the point, I love Visual Novels by now. Though I have read some of the most highly acclaimed ones like G-Senjou, Umineko, Rewrite and Little Busters my "to-do list" is not even finished, theres way more to go like Steins;Gate (currently reading), Grisaia, Muv-Luv and many others. So with that being said, I'm looking forward to being here and wish you all of you a happy day. PS: You could guess by my profile picture who my favorite character is PPS: I'm sorry if I made a few grammar mistakes here and there as my english is not perfect since I'm german
  14. Little Busters Also worth mentioning from Rewrite EDIT: Forgot a (for me) very sad Umineko moment
