  1. I am trying to play the trial for Gin'iro, Haruka and Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai but for some reason, the text keeps flickering nonstop. I have Windows 7 and used Alpharom to remove the region locking. I also tried NoRegionLoader. Regardless, the text keeps flickering, rendering the game unplayable. I have noticed that these are SiglusEngine games. I don't have any problem with pretty much any other visual novel. Any help would be appreciated it!
  2. Currently I am using devOSD/TA/ITH to hook into my visual novels. I wondering if I could replace a mistranslated line with my own clean version and save it so that when I come across that line again, replaying a scene for example, it will show my corrected version. The solution doesn't have to be with these programs. I believe however devOSD has a visual dictionary editor but I am not quite sure how to use it. I set a match/replacement but the line doesn't change when replaying it. Any help would be appreciated it! Thanks!
  3. I am currently having some difficulty hooking into Miagete Goran, Yozora no Hoshi o. ITHVNR recognizes the game and it starts outputting the text but the dialog grabbed by ITHVNR is truncated. Certain Japanese characters/phrases are replaced with "巨䇊쬢B", sometimes in between sentences. Here is an example of the dialog showing the truncations (note the first few lines are fine). Obviously this truncation messes up the translation and I can't do a replacement because the phrases that are replaced are different each time. From the last line in the quoted dialog above, "なって東の空を見" was replaced. Similarly the line just before that "ーむーい~~!!」" was replaced with "巨䇊쬢B". I don't have the hook code for this game so maybe that might fix it? I had the same problem with Amatsutsumi but that had a different truncation, not "巨䇊쬢B". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  4. You should use Crage/Crass or Insani (http://www.insani.org/tools/) to extract and repack. Assuming your scenario files are in .ks, you could directly open in a robust text editor specifically with a Japanese encoding, save the .ks files as UTF-16 LE (with or without BOM). Then you can translate to English accordingly. This has typically been my experience with KiriKiri but it might be different from VN to VN.
