I dont intend to use fakku's services and never really used fakku before either (they were shit before they went commercial as well)

but let me summarize for those unfamiliar with fakku:
the hate for fakku stems from how they once hosted stuff for free (illegally) like sadpanda etc
but then they went commerical bought licenses and then they demanded other sites to take down everything they now own

people hate fakku for pretty much the same reasons they hate crunchyroll
at first they were free and didnt give one shit about copyright
but once they went commercial copyright suddenly started to matter

The secret is that the girls are so cute/attractive that the "refractory period" gives up and let's the protagonist do what he wants.

Ningen got a reaction from Silvz in In your opinion, do visual novels portray romance realistically
The question should be whether romance is portrayed realistically in the context of the world and circumstances the game is set in.
If it makes sense according to the logic of the game, then the game is a good game.

Ningen reacted to Clephas in Your experience of "the visual novel entry barrier"
    I began with Tsukihime.
Understand, my biggest barrier to playing VNs was erotic content.  For better or worse, I was living like a monk at the time, and I wasn't interested in being reminded about sex.  I often acted irritable and made uppity anti-sex speeches back then... (Yes, I was that bad).  However, a friend in the anime fansubbing community insisted that I should play Tsukihime, so I reluctantly did so... and I was instantly addicted to the VN experience.
I went through every VN translated at the time inside four months, then immediately moved on to untranslated and haven't looked back since.  Looking in from the outside, I'm pretty sure people will say I am an addict and need help... since I restructured my entire life around paying for my habit and blow thousands of dollars on it every year.  However, I'm reasonably happy.
Edit: Yes, I am living proof that visual novels obsessively make you over into a fetishist pervert.  I've been corrupted and I am at peace with my corruption, which is probably why I always feel empathetic toward the fallen goddess heroines in Venus Blood games.

Enjoyed the games before this one, so I obviously had to get Miburo.
As usual sofmap offered the best extras.
Four extras in addition to the artbook and short soundtrack of the first press edition.
Namely a wallscroll, two shikishi and an Okita Souji drama disc.

If you want to see some pics of what I bought, look into the spoiler below

Backlogs and real life are a thing, so I am planning to finish this game by 2030

When a company starts to respond emotionally to feedback like that, run for the hills. A truly professional business (and part of being professional is caring about your target market) would heed any feedback and respond to it in a positive and constructive way. This company seems to admit no fault and instead accuses the customers of having incorrect opinions.
If they truly cared about making money, they'd establish a trust relationship with their customer base. This sets up for long-term success of their business because people will have more confidence in future work they do. Everything I'm reading so far screams short-term. They want money from this title now, without regards to quality. Decay found some pretty ridiculous programming bugs, as well as provided them clear examples of their bad translations on Twitter in response to the above letter. All of these problems are inexcusable and unacceptable.
First the translation for Libre of the Vampire Princess is crap, then MoeNovel butchers another VN I wanted to play, and now this. I hope I'm just getting unlucky regarding TLs of important items on my wishlist and we're not headed towards some sort of VN apocalypse...

    Unreasonable pricing how?
    Script the length of 6~8 novels (6~8 * 500~1000 yen = 3000~8000 yen)
    Original Sound Track (2000~3000 yen)
Voice acting (Sound Drama which likely have much less content tend to be priced ~3000 yen)
Full-colored CGs (Illustration collections seem to be ~2000 yen)
Visual Novel (new work of decent size ~9800 yen)

It never ceases to amaze me how western VN fans must try to find some story relevance in their porn to justify its presence. There are of course a very small handful of games where the porn is legit important to the story. But, generally speaking, it won't be... It's porn. It's rather obvious what it's meant to do.
That doesn't mean the scenes aren't important, though. H-scenes can add tons of character development and can show you sides of characters you'd never see in the censored version. A scene doesn't have to "add something to the story" in order to be important. You could probably remove 40% of a game's normal scenes and justify it by saying "they didn't add anything to the story," and still be left with a somewhat intact game. That doesn't mean you'd actually want to do that, right? You'd be missing out on a lot, even though it wouldn't "add something to the story."
That's how I think all H-scenes in eroge should be treated, to be honest. They were there originally, so naturally they add something, even if that isn't direct story relevance.
Honestly, the western market's need to seek out story relevance in H-scenes puzzles me.
Tl;dr, you'll always be missing out on something when you play the censored versions of eroge. That's just how it works, even in games where all-ages replacement scenes have been added. (Heck, take Grisaia no Rakuen as an example. Playing the all-ages version of that will mean you actually won't see the game's real ending epilogue, as it has been cut from the steam release.)
