  1. I have a question about the game, I've seen people refer to it as continuing a secret route like Kagetsu Tohya, where everyone lives. But isn't the idea is that
  2. I'll take tsundere light, without the physical abuse (Marie from persona 4)
  3. That newspaper club girl from Rewrite is the not immediately obvious choice for me, she had a small relevance to the story but got a pretty cool moment.
  4. Like these? Or is it just me? Edit: how the hell did I forgot Mugi
  5. Just asking, does anyone else think in Akuma no riddle Also, Chaika is the surprise of the season for me, the fights are awesome, the characters are awesome and dat eyebrows. And I don't know what to think about Sidonia.
  6. Does anyone watch Zvezda? The first episode is pretty medioce but afterwards it improves a lot, I like the reverse sentai plot and Itsuka is badass and extremely adorable.
  7. I also say Kirino from oreimo. she's way too perfect: she's an athlete AND a model AND gets-top grades AND has time to write a novel AND a closet otaku. Never mind that even doing 2 of those things is near impossible, compare and contrast: Kanon from G-senjou no maou who is much more believable and actually a good character.
  8. I started watching Clannad in my spare time and I have something that bothers me about the anime. Don't get me wrong, the anime is wonderful but they miss something very important. Clannad the VN is mainly about loneliness, there is no "shared" route, you might have the occasional talk with another girl, but you're almost always on your own with the girl you choose and nearly no supporting cast except Sunohara, the only routes that averts this is Kotomi's and Fuuko's where they are the ones that have bigger loneliness problems. I don't think they could have really done something to replicate it in an anime but it comes of making Tomoya a bit too normal compared to the game. Your thoughts?
  9. So I just finished watching Kanon and thought of all the sad moments in different VN's and what is the most tear-jerking of them. Mine is definately Kanon's close second is from Clannad .
  10. This is strange, but if anyone played the new Disgaea, there's a character named Barbara, she's pretty much a demonic version of Sachi from grisaia (especially the overly literal personality) and has the same haircut. does anyone else thinks so?
  11. I think having multiple seasons is the most important thing in an anime adaption, otherwise you need to cram 20+ hours of plot into about 4 hours without time for anything else.
  12. So I finished Clannad and damn if it isn't one of the best experiences i've had, it's a great game, and you will cry. The only bad things about it is that some scenes are not translated especially the most important ones in the ending that explains the ending (thanks god for tvtropes). I've seen some clips from the anime (haven't watched it yet, I'll probably start in couple of weeks) and one thing I didn't understand is Starting university this sunday... should definetely watch a happy thing, maybe K-on.
  13. Visual novels are a type of medium, you can pretty much sum up every medium with how it relates to films and books. VN's can both tell a story or give you an interesting experience, it depends on the game. I like visual novels that go a bit meta (little busters, ever17, virtue's last reward) but pure story (Clannad) is also great.
