  1. Hello Everyone, Neith here! I just wanted to take a small moment to talk about my latest endeavor I HAVE A PATREON CAMPAIGN To give you a bit of background, I'm a self-taught artist who's been pursuing her craft for 4 years! I draw both lewd and safe works, really whatever I'm in the mood for. Though I'm most passionate about kemonomimi art I'm a passionate and motivated artist who's getting better and better everyday. Now I'm seeking support for my endeavors via Patreon, and I'd love it if the fine people of Fuwanovel could share in this fantastic opportunity with me. What Patreon means to me As of right now, my income is a mix of onetime commissions and temp freelance work I happen to pick up. It's an interesting life to live, but stressful as well. Sometimes its hard to know if you'll find yourself in enough work to make all of your obligations. To me, Patreon is a way to easy this burden. With Patreon's assured monthly income, I can achieve a piece of mind that I haven't had in a while. it would also give me more time to focus on my art and creative endeavors (Like manga and visual novels) What I can offer you Patreon can best be thought of as a continuing interaction between an artist and those who support her. In exchange for your support, I offer a variety of great extras that let my patrons really get behind the scenes. Things like: Process GIFs Speedpaint Videos Hi-Res versions of artwork Raw PSD files Sketches and WIPs Opportunities to influence my upcoming works and projects Sand so much more My appeal to you This Patreon campaign is very important to me. I hope that my sincerity and passion can win you over to helping me further my pursuits. I know it can be easy to find this kind of thing annoying, bothersome, or anything to that effect, But I'd like to invite you to see more of my work on https://www.patreon.com/Neith I hope that you'll like what you see. And if you do, please don't hesitate to become a patron by donating! It is my hope, that with Patreon, I will be able to supplement my current income (not a lot these days) and maybe even one day replace it! My takeaway message to anyone reading this would be "Please think of this Patreon as a tip-jar. If you like what I'm doing; If you support my what I'm doing here. If you believe in me and believe in my craft, please consider a pledge" Thank you for your time in reading this.

  3. Presenting our heroine for the visual novel project Im working on: Yumiko Shirayuki!!! “A recent college grad returning home to the quiet countryside of Gifu after studying business in Tokyo. Despite being quite intelligent, she lacks a certaib degree of and people-skills, and is prone to narcisism as a result of having grown up in reletive seclusion. She often comes off as abrasive, even when that isnt her intention. Dispite her difficult exterior, at hear she is a very kind and gentle person She is a very driven individual and can be quite competitive at times, often displaying single-minded determination when it comes to the things she wants. As the heroine of our story, she will be in your hands. Please do your best to see her through to happinesd in "Midsummer Daydream” coming out…… soon I hope O.o" Promoting aside, I had a lot of fun creating this character, and the process of taking her from concept to creation has only fired me up for this project even more. Writing a female lead for an otome eroge is no small feat, but Im very happy with the end result. Its been a joy to think about all the ways her character will play out and all the situations we’ll be throwing at her. I hope you guys are just as excited as I am.
  4. Curse my overly vauge saleswoman language :_; By "refreshingly " I simply meant that one of Midsummer Daydream offers a look into alternste relationship types thst break the mold and progression of typical romance. One of the main focuses of our story is "friends with benefits" relstionships, AKA Fuckbuddies. Concepts that often go undiscussed, or are treated with tacit dissapproval Despite quick google research indicating thst such relstionships are rather common.
  5. Project Introduction Hello everyone. As you can see by looking to the side, my name is Lavinder.   7. Sound like you two are sucking on them sour grapes......... http://media0.giphy.com/media/zd76Z18lDrjy0/giphy.gif Though i cant lie. My grapes are pretty sour too. What can i say.... i suck with duedates :_;
  8. Good luck to all remaining members. And sorrry i couldnt be there Kara no shoujo ..................... :_; *cries*
  9. Oh..... well, digital is nothing special. It it takes a bit extra learning. How to manipulate brush properties to replicate real tool. Learning to adapt to the comparitively low levels friction compared to graphite-on-paper. Its nothing you can't drill into your brain with a month's time. Id say analog is much more impressive.
  10. Oh my... did you take that as a harsh critique? i never meant it like that. I simply thought I knew where the inspiration came from :_;
  11. Look sorta like the ailien moms from cookie clicker
  12. Look sorta like the ailien moms from cookie clicker
  13. See.... thats what happens when youre dead-like tired. You dont notice that your tablet is set to remember that one secondary account you made that one time when you got banned. ....sorry :_;
  14. Never on schedule, but always on time. Here is the great Lavi's submittion. "That day...... Six years ago. She looks just as she does that day. But more then that, absolutely nothing has changed about her. She is the exact same girl I'd talk with for hours about wanting to be a mangaka. That I'd escort home after school everyday, it it was almost a mile out of my way. It's as though it's simply the day after "that" day. just...... Tomorrow. Well..... We've got a lot of catching up to do." My entry about about a girl who lost her life, the boy she left behind, and the bod they share that not even death can break. I honestly didn't expect to make this black and white. But midway, it just felt right. maybe because the last few entries were B/W. And I must say, it had a positive effect on the work. I felt a lot more free as i didn't have to struggle with color blending. No longer was I to tame the unruly tablet. Rather, we danced together in my natural element, reliving my days in the sketchbook. It felt natural in fluid and I really enjoyed it from start to finish. if I could have this feeling everyday, Id die happy.
  15. so that said................... what's this weeks topic?
  16. Shame im out :_; Seems like thrre's always something getting im the way of me drawing something..... from mental crisis to currupted files to loss of soul. Maybe its a sign *sigh* wish I could have made it in. Really do. But I wonder what would hapoen to me next week if I stayed in. Just know i reallly did wanna compete to win. And sorry to have been just another drop-out
  17. Too easy! To think this day would come, where being loli-sized would actually be an advantage. it just... brings a tear to my eyes :_;
  18. THE FOUR GREATEST SPACE FIGHTERS IN THE UNIVERSE!!!! The Vic-Viper (Blue), the Lord British (Red), the Jade Knight (Green), and the Fachion Beta (Purple) Use Hollow Squares to give the impression of Bit-art even when drawing in such a high resolution. Makes it so that each "pixel" is visible. just like the old days. and what says "old school" like Pallet swaps. We all know Ken and Ryu, Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Mario and Luigi. The Gradius Space-fighters are no exception. The space backdrop done in a normal resolution to contrast, and I think it looks pretty good. Additional props go to mellow for getting by brain going. Taking concepts from someone like this contest really forces me to think outside my element. I'd never draw something like this on my own. All that said, sorry for all this writing. Its sorta a habit of mine to to fill up that little description box when I upload my work. guess it carried over here
  19. you're gonna start drawing before you know any of the topics? What if you have the worst guessing ability in the world and your pieces don't have anything to do with the topics mellow selects? may not be the best thing to do....
  20. might have to fast-forward to contest start
  21. looks like things have slowed down here.....
  22. Thanks sweetie. Means a lot to hear you say that.
