  1. I am not familiar with the Switch store but for PS4 you would need to create a separate account and I am unsure if you can use your credit card / PayPal on both accounts. Otherwise you would need US wallet charge card. But it seems that my concerns are unfounded. If they release the trial on the European PSN store it seems likely that they also release the game. So maybe my concern was too hasty. Would be positive step forward if they release it over here and I would apologize for the unfounded criticism. The next dream would then be a physical release in Europe.
  2. I would very careful with saying it releases in the west. Aniplex didn't release Adabana Odd Tales for Europe on Steam nor did they release Everyday♪ Today's Menu for the Emiya Family for the Switch in Europe. I see it as very likely that they proceed to ignore Europe. Until I see listing for the European PS4 or Switch e-store it's going to be an US-release but not an western one. The idea of a physical European release I discarded a long time ago but no digital release would be a slap in the face. Love to be wrong about it, but I have no faith in Aniplex.
  3. Since moege don't excite me much Mysteries of the Heart is by far the most interesting announcement for me. Aside from that Ready or Not: The Deadline is Coming! looks fun with the angle of VN creation and is something I could see my grab when I want to read something lighter.
  4. Personally I am really excited by the announcement. It's one of the VNs that I have been most interested in for years. Definitely a day one buy and read. Hanachirasu to this day has the best combats scenes of all VNs that I read, looking forward to seeing what Narahara Ittetsu masterpiece has to offer.
  5. Conjueror listed the VNs he translated on his blog: https://vnreviews.blog/about/ The same is true for the VNs Gare ( @garejei ) worked on: https://gareblogs.wordpress.com/about/ For Tokyo Babel they are also official credited in the Opening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZT2hd7YW04
  6. The old walkthrough had a mistake (a choice was missing), so maybe that was the problem? I edited the walkthrough above. If that doesn't help maybe try asking on the Mangagamer Discord: https://discord.gg/Xb28rjc I haven't had much time to read Jeanne until now, so I can't really help. Sorry
  7. Here is an English walkthrough courtesy of the translator ZackZeal: The walkthrough has also beend added to the opening post.
  8. Jeanne At The Clock Tower is now released on Mangagamer!
  9. Here is blog entry about Jeanne At The Clock Tower from the translator ZackZeal: https://blog.mangagamer.org/2021/06/07/jeanne-at-the-clock-tower-translators-corner/ Also only 2 more days!
  10. I don't think it's geoblocked. My guess is that Adabana Odd Tales geoblocking wasn't on Liar-Soft and rather on Aniplex. But I can't really check it since it is Adult-tagged on Steam and with that not accessible for where I am anyway.
  11. Mangagamer announced today that Jeanne at the Clock Tower will release on June 10th. The game will release on Manggamer (NSFW!): https://www.mangagamer.com/r18/detail.php?product_code=1230&af=3a123f6214695bfacaa881bd3117c693 And on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1605130/Jeanne_at_the_Clock_Tower The Steam version will be uncut and ther won't be an separate patch. The Opening can be found here: The orginal uncut Opening (NSFW!) can be found here: Walkthrough: Here is an Englisch walkthrough courtesy of the translator ZackZeal: And here is the Japanese walkthrough from Seiya-Saiga: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ja&tl=en&u=https://seiya-saiga.com/game/liarsoft/jeanne.html If there ins anything I missed please let me know and I will add it later.
  12. The voice actors for Mikazuki and Meguru did a little skit for the English release of Musicus. It's cute so have a watch. ^^
  13. I have read on the Discord that Steam insisted on the game being tagged Adult, even with the scenes removed. So they didn't have much of a choice.
  14. Yeah Steam decided to tag the Steam version as Adult and with that it is out for german customers, even though the game is censored on Steam. But there is the option to buy from Mangagamer without an creditcard. You can mail to [email protected] to ask for payment though PayPal. You just need a Mangagamer account and Paypal for this.
  15. Here is the second character introduction for Musicus on Mangagamer Blog: https://blog.mangagamer.org/2021/04/06/musicus-character-intro-vol-2/ This time featuring Mikazuki Hanai, one of the games heroines.
  16. This week on Thursday (April 8th) Musicus! the final game of the VN developer Overdrive is going to release. So I thought we could need a new thread with all information in one place. You can find the Mangagamer version here (NSFW!) https://www.mangagamer.com/r18/detail.php?product_code=1221&af=3a123f6214695bfacaa881bd3117c693 And the Steam version can be found here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1418180/ And here is the official Japanese website: (Where the translation of the game was originally "leaked" long before Mangagamer officially announced the title. ^^) https://musicus.over-drive.jp/ The Steam version will be censored and the 18+ scenes removed. And there won't be any replacement scenes like there are sometimes with console All-Age releases. From what I heard it is going to be a fade to black with a sentence telling the player what happened. But you can find a patch for the Steam version on the Mangagamer store page for Musicus. And on the Mangagamer Blog we got the first character introduction for the main protagonist. There should be more of those posts hopefully before the release. And if you want to listen to OST of this music themed VN you can get a taste on YouTube: The same channel has more of the soundtrack uploaded. Walkthrough: And for those that are looking for a walkthrough I have some general information from SSparks31 of the QA team for Musicus from the Discord. Although you could consider them a minor spoiler, so take a look at them on your own risk. The route structure doesn't seem to be too complicated so a blind playthrough shouldn't be a problem. And here is a the full english walkthrough/guide courtesy of threepwood007: And finally there is the Japanese Seiya-Saiga walkthrough: (Altough I would recommend the english walkthrough above for those that read the english translation!) https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ja&tl=en&u=https://seiya-saiga.com/game/overdrive/musicus.html If there is anything I missed or that should be changed please let me know and I am going to edit this post. And with that out of the way I wish everyone a good time with this VN.
  17. It has been announced last year but without the convention I guess the announcement got less eyes on them. Looking forward to it myself altough I am a bit worried that it might be "overhyped". Should we use this thread for a discussion or should we open a new one with more information (picture, purchase information etc.) in the opening post?
  18. Mangagamer is looking back at the last year in this blog post: https://blog.mangagamer.org/2021/03/01/a-look-back-at-2020-and-the-2021-licensing-survey-begins/ And is asking for feedback in their yearly Licensing Survey linked at the bottom of the blog post or linked directly here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeYh89JpGjmMkIXCbGS0eLgijipb3i1PzJs5qL5O4F3Xi7oBQ/viewform What are the wishes of the Fuwanovel members? Same as last year or did anything change? You can find last years results of the survey here: https://blog.mangagamer.org/2020/09/14/2020-licensing-survey-results/ Last years most wished for title Evenicle 2 has been announced since but the other titles are still unlicensed.
  19. Since I started this topic last year, I thought should share the latest tweet from Light's twitter account. https://twitter.com/light_staff_tw/status/1353504981836414976 So they get asked about a Silverio translation again and responded with "no plans at this time" and honestly it doesn't look like the chances have improved. But that didn't stop someone from creating a petition to show support for Silverio so have a look here: https://www.change.org/p/light-silverio-franchise-localization Also consider responding to the tweet if you are interested in SIlverio.
  20. Majikoi is now avaible! https://twitter.com/jastusa/status/1342391093258665984
  21. The release date for official release of Majikoi by JAST has been announced and it is tomorrow December 25th! https://twitter.com/jastusa/status/1341026098662891523 You can buy the game here: https://jastusa.com/majikoi-love-me-seriously Those that have preordered the physical edition will get digital keys so that they can play on release while the physical shipment is being handled. Unfortunately due to licensing issues the English release won't contain the full voice cast of the Japanese release, but the main characters are all still voiced. You can read more about this in this blog post: Blog post is NFSW! https://blog.jlist.com/featured/official-jast-usa-post-about-majikoi/ But there are already rumors that the community is working to fan patch the missing voices into this release so maybe it won't be an issue for long.
  22. Here is a walktrough: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/23481-metor-world-actor-walkthough/?tab=comments#comment-524388
  23. ShiraVN has announced today that Meteor World Actor released on Johren (the western DMM games platform). https://twitter.com/shira_vn/status/1333223068282482688 Here is the Opening: And here is the link to the Johren store page (THIS LINK IS NSFW!) https://www.johren.games/games/download/meteor-world-actor-en-zh/ The game is discounted for 50% during the launch week and is available for 20$ right now. Johren is the only platform for now after the game has been rejected multiple times from Steam the over the last year. And Finally @Clephas has written a review of the Japanese version here: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/blogs/entry/2846-ryuusei-world-actor/ You should definitely give it a read if you are interested in the title.
  24. ATRI -My Dear Moments- is now also avaible on the JAST Store. https://twitter.com/jastusa/status/1329847238856642562 The same is true for Adabana Odd Tales which is important in that now European customers can buy the title for the first time. https://twitter.com/jastusa/status/1329848103952818177
  25. So while the situation on Steam never changed (Adabana Odd Tales is still blocked in most of Europe) Aniplex has now decided to put their games on the JAST USA store that of course has no block for European customers. https://twitter.com/jastusa/status/1329848103952818177 In other words anyone from Europe can now officially buy Adabana Odd Tales if they want! I am not going to lie I have no idea what their problem on Steam is, since my theory that they don't have the license for Europe is now invalid, but that's good news. If they continue to put their games on the JAST store I wouldn't even mind if they translate more games, where before I would have hated if they published more games. ATRI -My Dear Moments- is of course also avaible on JAST. https://twitter.com/jastusa/status/1329847238856642562
