You know, let's not be moralfags here: there's nothing wrong with Ecchi. Sakura Spirit's problem is its god-awful writing. Still, I'd probably torrent it just to see by myself...

By the way, Altered Fable can be played from start to end if you follow Sumika, Meiya or Kashiwagi's routes. The patch is here: http://alternativeprojects.wordpress.com/ There's also Chronicles 01 translated, with two Muv Luv Alternative side stories, and the beggining of the TDA saga, which tells what happened after the end of unlimited.

There's 3 Galaxy angel games, and Baldr Sky is not translated.

I thought the card game was neutral at best, didn't take me out of the story or make me more interested in it.

It's not 18+ (in fact, they're very lighthearted) but the Galaxy Angel series have a decent real time strategy section.

Seconding Muv-Luv, just because it leads to Alternative, which your brother should play, even if it has some extremely graphic gore on this one scene and it's linear with very few choices. There's more choices in Muv Luv tho'.

There's an old VN called Desire (from the same author of YU-NO and Eve Burst Error) that has plenty of NTR, might be your cup of tea.

There's probably gonna be a stand alone The Day After game down the road, but no idea if it's going to include the other four (and last divers!)

I'd say it's worth it, but Mangagamer is currently retranslating higurashi. Might be worth it to wait for it, and read something else meanwhile.

Just do Sumika and Meiya. Tamase and Ayamine routes introduce characters that you will see in unlimited/alternative, but they are not necessary to enjoy the story. Hell, if I had to do it again, I would just skip straight to unlimited.

Nothing Muv-Luv related in the future, but from that 4chan thread above, TDA00 is coming soon and Altered Fable is almost done, so you won't run out of Muv Luv stuff for a while.

Thanks for pointing out the error, and I'm aware of the 4chan thread. Obviously it could have use an editor or two, but the idea was to get it out fast, so there were some errors, among other things. If you spot more errors that you remember, pm me and I'll fix them in a next patch.

1- About Narcissu, I'd recommend playing the second one. It's pretty good on it's own and one of the main characters is completely different to what you'll see in Narcissu 1. Also, if you played Narcissu before finishing Narcissu 2, you unlock a short epilogue for the first game. 3- Order doesn't matter, but from best to worst I'd say it's Ever 17, Remember 11 and Never 7 5- It can be funny and wtf at parts, but it gets "serious" in the true route.

I was bored one day, and I read on some other forum about Ever 17. Seemed pretty cool, so I played it and the rest is history.
