  1. Oh God..... the first and the only video I ever made
  2. ^^ yup I only ever made 1 video on IL-2... was so embarrassed I wanted to delete it after I uploaded it xD
  3. It really depends for me.... I can't help but seeing waifus as individuals, and by that I mean certain traits or tropes don't determine my affinity. But if I had to choose a trait of my top two waifus, one has an emotional range of an electric toaster, Kaga, and the other is a sadistic nee-chan type that just likes to hang around sunflowers, Yuuka Kazami.
  4. Personally, I just watched tons and tons of anime and I got to know the grammar and some colloquial sayings very well (but often times, people who learn through these styles speak very awkwardly and most of the times like a shoujo although they are men). This probably has something to do with the fact that I know Korean though. Very similar grammar. People always chide me for learning this way, but in my personal opinion, it can be extremely, and I mean extremely confusing when you are learning a new language that is in a completely different language group than your mother tongue. When I was learning English, it didn't even make sense how they were using English terms to describe things such as infinitive form of verbs. In the end, you just have to learn a new concept to fully understand it and the best way to do it is to immerse yourself in constant conversations and anime is a great medium. The real hard part for me is learning the plethora of kanji characters and some sayings/proverbs.
  5. haha never played them since I was done with mystery for a while and I am busy. Duly noted.
  6. Well, Steins;Gate was a great one. My first VN was Clannad..... that will remain as a special romance title for me but some people don't may find it a bit too cheezy. Little Busters was more about friendship but it was good too. If you want mystery, Umineko is the queen. It is extremely long as it is divided into 8 parts. You will probably find it to be boring for the 1st part, but there is a plot twist at the end of it that makes everything 100x interesting. I literally stayed up 3 nights to complete it after I finished the 1st part. It has the best music and sound effect out of any VNs or anime imo. After all, it is an audio novel. And although people chew it out for bad art, there is a patch with updated background and sprites for the PS3 that also works with PC: Try hard enough and you will find it. Another close contender in the mystery genre is Cartagra. If you don't like gore, don't play it. But that one was really good too for me. A good mix of drama and mystery would be G-Senjou no Maou. Decent good music too; they are arrangements of classical pieces. I am not a fan of sci-fi and mecha (save for Steins;Gate. That is how good it was) so can't tell you much on that... All in all, to rank them I would go with this: 1. Umineko 2. Clannad/Little Busters (same company, similar feel and style just different theme/message) 3. Steins;Gate 4. G-Senjou no Maou 5. Cartagra There are plenty of VNs that you can't go wrong with but extremely few that will be special and memorable. There are English translations for all of them.
  7. I feel so empty when I hear that.... I forgot count of how many times I sortied to E-3 with a full heavy fleet that sometimes took 3000 metal and 1000 fuel per run... Hopefully, Graf will drop in the future for TTKs that didnt get her!
  8. 0_0 good job getting her though. Anything is worth for your waifu.
  9. I made my account last winter.... so just over a year I guess. and yeah. armpit is pretty good huehuehue. I don't actually play Touhou a lot. Only the fighting ones (Touhou 10.5 and 12.5 I think). I just find their lore more interesting, especially when enriched by the dank amount of doujins.
  10. I browse danbooru everyday and have the finest selection of just under 700 Kaga pics. ^^ Kancolle has good characters. (although I would give Touhou characters more kudos for having more substance. I don't think anything can beat the Touhou fandom)
  11. Yup. Shioi is an expensive girl (huehuehue). I personally was extremely dismayed at them adding Iowa. I was convinced that they wouldn't add any American/British/Frencch ships. But hey, each to their own waifus. I mostly play Kancolle as a waifu game so I only go for Kanmusus I like, and not based on stats ^^
  12. Oh neat. I don't have Bismarck yet, probably because she is not my priority. I really want Shioi. Got a Yamato for the second time from her recipe xP but not Shioi yet. One downside for stockpiling like that is having a relatively average-low level fleet. It is worse because I usually focus leveling my destroyers which aren't that useful in normal combat (I may or may not be a lolicon....), and I try to "spread out" the experience among my kanmusus instead of having one crack fleet. I do have enough high level CVs and FBBs to make one high-firepower fleet though.
  13. I don't really have enough time to sortie I guess..... I only sortie on events. However, I regularly do PVP. I used to spam Orel Sea Cruising but I lost the will to do that now.
  14. I do it everyday usually, and I never bothered to count... but I would assume 1~2 months? imo, fuel ran out the fastest last-last event so I over-stocked that a bit (all my resources except steel and bauxite went down below 10,000 from around 250,000 but it was worth it for Prinz and Graf). Now I reorganized my expedition fleets to get more ammo.
  15. Hello, I recently joined this thread after making my account (thanks to Monmon for linking this thread). ^^ I am a ttk, and as my profile suggests, Kaga is my waifu.
  16. Oh I thought you meant teitoku in Kancolle game xP
  17. Thank you senpai that solved everything! I can now going to enjoy the pulltop bishoujos and plot! Really. Thank you for linking me to that post!
