Nah, if that device with Microsoft Windows Operation system and Support EXE format. You can read almost all of Visual Novel Series.
I think keyboard doesn't used much at COMMON Visual Novel, At least, keyboard used for input custom protagonist name (Some VN can (or needed) custom Protagonist name)
and Of course that visual Novel not include some sub-genre or Extras Content like mini games or RPG, etc (ex : Sora o Aogite Kumo Takaku) You can't play that kind of VN without keyboard.
You can check game details on VNDB.
For example : Grisaia no kaijitsu, Wagamama High spec, CLANNAD.

Sorry for very late here. Anyway here's another update for this week below, so here goes.
    Common Route Part 1: 100.0%
    Common Route Part 2: 100.0%
    Ai: 100.0%
    Renna: 60.89%
    Maki: 100.0%
    Saeko: 100.0%
    Total: 90.98%
Since it was almost finished with less than 10% left, they already planned for the release date. The plan is that they'll gonna release this at around April 8th, because the translator will be busy at this week and at March end later. Keep in mind that the date may be change in the future, so there's still no 100% guarantee that they'll release Renna's patch at that date because anything can happen. If anything, at least we getting close for Tsujidou full patch for now.
    That's all for this week.

Its been ages since i last posted a desktop, thought i might just as well do it for all times sakes :p, this is my current setup:

    Secondary Display:

    Phone Homescreen:

Desktop has an Usamimi theme due to the influence Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou (From Commonplace to World's Strongest) Light Novel has over me, leaving aside how awesome it is, there's an usamimi demi-human there who is just way to adorable >.< ...
As for my phone homescreen its due to me playing like crazy over the pass few days Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier on my V2Viper S using the Drastic NDS Emulator, i really love this game!

    Hello everyone,
as I mentioned few times already our group (re)started the TL project on "Pure Pure: The story of ears and tails" after FOTS translations abandoned this project (got in touch with the head of the project, unfortunately he had to stop because he has too many real life issues...)
This novel is really old one (published ~2004) so many of you won't know what is it about but people who were in touch with FOTS will know. =)
I will post time to time in this topic but for people who are interested in this novel we created a simple FB page.
I hope there is still someone who is looking forward to this novel, because this one has caught me so hard I decided to found a group and finish it. =)
Me and Sachi wish you the best
    Aki

Strike105X got a reaction from Okarin in BANZAI EMULATION! A personal rediscovery when it comes to gaming....
This is probably going to be a weird post but i feel like sharing what's on my mind, last year (during this time i believe), i started making my new intel build, basically i was upgrading from this:

    To this:

And after building my new PC one of the first things i tried was PCSX2 and Dolphin (PS2 and Nintendo GameCube/Wii emulation), i dunno if it was because i did something wrong or not, but while with the intel build there was a significant improvement in performance it still wasn't at the level i wanted it at the time for some of my games. At that moment i just felt like loosing most interest in emulation and moved my attention to PC gaming only.
Moving on to the subject of pc gaming... I never was a great fighting game player (well except for Bloody Roar 2 i did fairly well with that), but i did enjoy a lot playing them, most notably i think i spent over 10 years playing like crazy Battle Arena Toushiden 4 and Bloody Roar 2 Bringer of the New Age on the PS1 (emulated via ePSXe or pSX), Soul Calibur and DOA2 on Dreamcast (via nullDC) and Guilty Gear XX on PC. I had a great amount of fun with them daily even if alone. Fast forwarding when the PC gaming boom started i was really excited, but among all the games i got and played the only ones that really got my attention and i genuinely enjoyed where: Tales of Zestiria and Berseria (well i probably will love Symphonia as well, truth be told i didn't had time to properly play it), Titanfall 2, Forza Horizon 3, Tekken 7 and DOOM, that's pretty much it... Among the genres i would like to focus on fighting games for a bit though, when they started flooding in on steam i was really excited, especially about DOA5 LR but to my dismay something felt like it was lost, among all the fighting games i got the only one i genuinely had a decent amount of fun with was Tekken 7 to be honest (and this considering i never was that big of a Tekken fan), not even DOA5 got stuck with me, compared to the hours i put with the previous games of the series it pales in comparison, i get bored of it rather fast this days... Another problem i found, that its totally on me, is that at one point i felt for the whole "online sharing experience", i was more concerned about making videos and screenshots, trophies and various other such things then enjoying my games which was just wrong (recovered from that :p). Back to fighting games though, in all honesty i started to believe that i had changed, that i just no longer care that much about the fighting game genre (Soul Calibur VI was going to be the last chance i would've taken with this genre)...
Now to speak about the present... due to some free time at work, and during getting back and to work where i'm stuck doing nothing, i decided to try and install Drastic on my Android phone and tried Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier (previously i tried reading, but the problem with that is that i got so absorbed into it that i can barely pull away, i ended up getting my priorities wrong so i dropped reading and tried gaming to fill in the gap), to my big surprise I had and still have so much fun playing that game that i'm honestly shocked, its one of the most fun experience i had with gaming and JRPG's in years (togheter with Berseria and Zestiria of course). I eventually reached the point where i got Kosmos, she's quite fun to play with in that game:

And having so much fun with Kosmos in that game, it made me want to properly play and finish the Xenosaga series, plus since there's a possibility of a Zone of the Enders II release on PC i also wanted to properly play the first ZOE which i somehow managed to finish on my PS2, the problem is that on the PS2 there's no option for inverted camera controls, and i can't play right with normal camera controls, it was a pretty horrible experience i barely finished both ZOE and ZOEII because of it and didn't enjoy the games as much as i should because of it, so once i got time i started grabbing my backups getting the latest PCSX2 build, and to my surprise ? EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT! I was honestly shocked, i did not expect such a huge improvement especially in performance over my previous tests last year, the only thing i'm doing different is that this time i'm running the games of my SSD, rather then a HDD, but anyway everything works great even in software mode, it could be that i might have done something wrong last time but i know the amount of work people put in this emulation projects even despite their age so its really something to be grateful towards.
Seeing such huge improvements in Xenosaga Ep I and ZOE my excitement got the better of me and i couldn't contain myself from testing more games, they all work great! My biggest surprise was fighting games though, playing games such as DOA2, or Soul Calibur 2 or Bloody Roar, i could barely stop myself from playing them to resume testing other games, i was stunned on how addictive it felt, i'm honestly shocked. I dunno if its me getting stuck in the past or something wrong with some of the games today but after quite a lot of time has passed i'm honestly having loads and loads of fun playing again! Well its true that this is thanks to people who either developed or contribute towards emulation projects such as this, so if any of you are reading this:
Thank You Very Much for giving me the chance to Enjoy Gaming Again!

This is pretty much all i wanted to say, sorry to have wasted your time :p.

    In my case:
Ever17: it fell really lifeless for me
Comyu: tried it but to be honest so far i couldn't progress very far as i loose interest in anything that's not Kagome... And seeing how i got to finish most routes before hers its a hassle....
Lightning warrior raidy 2: halfway through it i had to drop it due to some rl issues, need to restart it one of this days.... But its a chore to have to restart it from scratch...
Diviner knight towako and taimanin asagi are in the same boat as lightning warrior raidy.
Chrono Clock - dropped after makoto's route, i cant stand the translation and how they adapted it to sound more american.

Okay, everything that has been edited is now properly accounted for in the tools.  Here is the current project status (all of these are edited percentages):
    Total edited: 5609/108888  (5.2%)
    Shoku route: 2860/41882  (6.8%)
    Gi route: 1390/38852 (3.6%)
    Go route: 1358/25983 (5.2%)
    Kan route: 1/2171  (basically 0%)
Over the course of my time on this project I transitioned, basically, from translating the remaining h-scenes into being a transleditor.  Nobody else was willing to do it, and the script needs some serious whipping into shape.  Also, I was much more haphazard in my editing before.  I would simply edit parts of files that clearly needed it as I happened to stumble across them.  This is reflected in the editing percentages, which are haphazard and show a lot of minor work mostly spread across the whole project, while a few files were very heavily edited.  For example, the majority of what is "edited" in Go happens to be the parts of Non's h-scenes that I translated (which mostly required only minor touching up).
Then the tools were ready.  And with the tools came nice stats.  With the stats, a good look at the state of the script.  I hadn't realized exactly how big the script was.  It's more than a hundred thousand lines! No, I'm not going anywhere.  Don't panic.  (And put this fish in your ear.  Trust me.)
But it does mean a change in approach.  As many of you probably know, the game is split into three routes (and one final bonus route, Kan), one for each of the three factions Shoku, Gi, and Go.  From now on, we are doing one route at a time.  First up is Shoku.  It's the longest, and it's the one our translator has decided to focus on finishing the h-scenes for.
This doesn't really mean much. The editing percentages for other routes just won't move for awhile.  No, it's not your imagination.  Yes, it's on purpose.

Okay, not too long ago I reached a "milestone": there are now less than a hundred thousand lines left in the game to edit!  Time for a status update.  It turns out not quite four thousand lines were edited, in not quite a month. I'm about to head out for Christmas vacation, so it's progress report time.  A little more than three thousand lines, in a little more than a month.  In between vacation and work being nasty, progress slowed down a bit compared to last month.  (Next month will be slow, too, since I'll be without access to anything for a week.)  Again, all percentages have been rounded to the nearest whole number.

Got a little curious, so I decided to crunch some numbers about the h-scenes in SKM.  Shoku has 27, Gi has 23, and Go has 16, for a grand total of 66 scenes taking up 36999 lines of text.  This includes the non-h-scene buildup to the sex scene itself; I estimate about 2/3 of that total is actual h-scene material, or about 24600-ish lines.  This represents somewhere between 21-25% (or so) of the game's text.  (And yeah, Go really gets gimped.  It's a pretty short route.)

Regarding the original question, I think there aren't that much translated story VN's with a revenge theme. I guess Chusingura might come closest to what you're looking for. G-Senjou and Umineko also come to mind, but those handle revenge somewhat differently.
And naturally, there are countless dark hentai nukiges with 'revenge theme' but I hope guess you're aren't looking for those.

If this is the new criteria, then Makina's route in Grisaia no Kajitsu fits very well. The only problem being that Kajitsu has a very long common route, and the "taking care of" element doesn't start until Makina's route, after said long common route. Still, her route is a perfect fit, so if you're okay with waiting a bit before that element kicks in, it's a good choice. (Also, the other routes kinda fits under the same criteria, but to a lesser extent.)

I think that's enough recommendations for now, so instead I'll just answer this question. As for this release, there's no Sigma because she was PSV exclusive character, and it was just recently released (At this year). Tokeijikake translation effort was already started since back at 2013, so there's no way that there'll be PSV port to PC there. Hope it could answer your question.

Try Gakthun, which is very slice of lifey, while being mostly happy and it has some fantasy elements.
Princess Waltz and 11 eyes, also fit what you are looking for, though they aren't great tbh
Most of the games I play have horrible, horrible shit happen to the characters (I still cant get over the Cartagra bad endings), but these ones are at least mostly happy.

Well, Japanese university is no joke. I have so little free time, I barely have time to read VNs at all, let alone translate them. So, the Minato route will sadly not be done this year.
That being said, I do have a 2 week vacation for new years, and I'll definitely resume the TLing then. I don't know how much progress I'll get done, as that also marks the release of Bakumatsu Jinchuu Houkoku Resshiden Miburo, which I have been hyped for since forever. But I'll definitely get back to TLing the game then. I have been itching to translate some lines for a while now, but I'm just so darn exhausted from uni, I don't have the energy.
Moral of the story kids, Japan is mean.
