Well, I have less time than I even thought I would originally, being on x-mas vacation at my folks place across the country... So I had to write something as fast as possible, and looking over it now... WOW is it awful.  I originally wanted to make the whole thing rhyme.  Instead, it's a hastily and poorly written... thing, with absolutely no sense to be found.

As I don't really have a favorite character, I just decided to put a bunch of them in there somewhere, mostly KEY, though Umineko's Beatrice is the star.  There's also Hachikuji Mayoi there for the hell of it, but who cares about that, right?  Amirite?  Yea... ok.
Anyway, try not to claw your eyes out.

I ended up having a lot of fun with this:

    Week 3 - Challenge 4:

    The Stray Sheep

The door closed behind me, the weight of which was like a period at the end of a sentence.

My working day and its routine were now over, put away and well-kept outside of these bar doors. Now I was to begin a night of excess, the tone of which would be decided by the company I had yet to find. Perhaps I’d find a couple of good-ole boys and we’d happily drink the night away. Maybe all that awaited me tonight would be sad-saps and deadbeats, the kind of company that that either results in self-loathing or – even worse – a misplaced sense of superiority and misanthropy. Maybe the only company I’d find is myself.

That would be the worst of all.

I was greeted by the stale smell of smoke and the uninterested eyes of people looking to trade the humdrum of their daily lives for a night that will most likely blend together with other nights. My kind of the people. The people who can feel terribly alone even when surrounded by like-minded souls suffering in equal measures.

I made my way to the bar’s counter, making a note of all the fresh faces and contemplating which might make for the best company and who might be receptive to my advances. Perhaps tonight I’d get lucky and I’d trade dulling my senses for the awkward fumbling and meaningless kind of companionship a woman could offer.

The barman greeted me, lightly raising a hand in salutation while the other polished the bar top. This was a ritual carried out every night. Funnily enough, in spite of coming here for the better portion of a year, I’d never learned the bartender’s name. It was better that way. Like a priest, he was a  confessor. It might sound stupid, but I needed a degree of anonymity if I wanted to feel like I had some dignity left to lose.

To me, he was simply Boss.

“Give me chocolate milk, go heavy on the syrup.”

He gave me a light nod in affirmation. Boss’s gestures were always so light, so deliberate. Nothing was wasted. He was like a goddamn monk. He was –

    Something caught my eye.
    Someone caught my eye.
    A woman caught my eye.

She had gotten up to leave from her table on the far side of the room. I was baffled as to how I didn’t notice her immediately. She had a pull, not unlike any other beautiful woman. Yet there was something more to it, though – something unplaceable. Strangest of all, I seemed to be the only one entranced.  As if this was a personal siren’s song, dedicated only to me.

Before I could even process and rationalize the strange hold her presence had over me, my body knew it had to act. I sprung forward, making my way to the doors that that punctuated the beginning and end of my every night. Tonight it would act as a question mark.

I watched her approach. She stepped lightly, each clack of her heels stirring in me a peculiar mix of excitement and apprehension. After all, this could only end in two ways: I’d earn her assent or be rejected. Truthfully, I don’t know which would be better.

I took in her profile as she approached.

A white sundress emphasized her girlish figure.
A red ribbon was wrapped tightly around her waist, as if to serve as a suggestion.
What followed with her was a seductive, coquettish air. Inescapable, palpable, suffocating.
Her golden hair was arranged in short twin tails.
Her blue eyes betrayed the seductive way she carried herself.

She stopped in front of me, eyes alight. I had no doubt she knew my intention. A small tilt of her head forward and a slight of her lip gave me the go ahead.

This was my chance, I had bring out my best line. My very best line:

“If I flip a coin, what are my chances of getting head?”

To make up for my lazy haiku:

“When reason fails, the devil helps!”

I slumped against the cold steel wall of my holding cell. In the hours following my crime, my head just hasn’t been working right. Perhaps it would be fairer to say that my head wasn’t working right the moments leading up to my crime. Perhaps it would be best said my head has never been right, and all its misfirings and all my misgivings were just piling up over the years, culminating to this point along with a very poor choice.

To say I don’t know what came over me would be a lie. What I felt at the moment was just too vivid to conveniently sweep away as being a lapse of judgment. No, what came to me… what possessed me, was a rage unfiltered.  It was a conscious act, done unflinchingly with full awareness of the malice behind it.

Perhaps some people would laud what I did as justifiable. Those people would lack perspective. Lofty ideals like justice should never be used to cover up our baser sides.

Justice didn’t raise the head of that fire axe.
    Justice didn’t bare it down!
At the brunt of the impact, justice was no wear to be found!

Alas though, what was found in the midst of broken glass and assorted snacks was that damn candy bar. The one that refused to acquiesce. The one that hung there taunting me. The one that sought to deny me satisfaction. The one that was stuck in that damn machine.

    Well, it’s mine now.
It’s mine now, along with a few minor lacerations to my hand.
It’s mine now, along with this cell.

An hour passed and a guard came to me. He told me someone posted my bail. I couldn’t imagine who would.

He told me it was the strangest damn thing too. He said the bail was posted in rupees.

A profile came into view in the threshold behind the guard.  It was a young man. He had a well-used physique adorned in a green tunic. Atop his head sat a… green cap. He had blonde hair and, strangest of all, pointy ears.

The guard unlocked the holding cell and waved me out. The man approached me. His sharp eyes locked with mine. He said to me:

        “…”

    An Evil Dead Christmas

It was an unusual holiday season in two respects.

For one, it was looking to be a white Christmas.  Snow rarely falls around here and when it does, it rarely sticks. In the best of times, the sight of lying snow would have been an inconvenience. However in these circumstances it was more like a cruel joke, as if God is having a laugh by drawing a parallel between our lives and the falling snowflakes. I suppose it is kind of silly to wax poetic about the weather at a time like this, though. It is more than likely just precipitation falling with no consideration to the borrowed time we’re living on.  Regardless, God-given or coincidence, I suppose this would prove to be a perfectly suitable setting to die in.

Which brings me to the more unusual aspect of this Christmas holiday – it’s the end of times.

The refuse of Hell has spilt over, bringing horrors both told and untold.  Demons roam the earth in abominable, monstrous forms tailored in great exploitation of our fears. The bulk of them slaughter us in great numbers, raising an army of dead in their wake. Entire shelters, neighborhoods, highways, towns disappear overnight. Some of whose scenes are flamboyantly horrific, theatrical and calculated in its macabre. Others look as if the people inhabiting these places had only but vanished, not a touch of horror to be found beyond what lurked in our imaginations.

Others take their time, savoring our dread and anguish as if it was a quality whiskey. They cultivate hope in us by allowing us small victories of which they delight in by demolishing and then building back up once again, continuing on until we finally know better.

It is in such a situation I have found myself, tormented by my own personal demons – and that’s not a metaphor. I’ve lived an inexcusable life, succumbing to self-absorption and twisting and destroying the faith friends and family have put in me. I’ve lied and cheated on women. I’ve humiliated and degraded them. I had turned the devotion and beauty that the few good ones had given me into bile.

And so here I am in some backwoods cabin in Tennessee, haunted by the specters of the women I’ve hurt. Inside the cabin, they call out, visit, and torment me. They remind me of the person that I am. They hound me to kill myself as befitting an alcoholic, depriving me of the one satisfaction I might’ve stolen from my tormentor.  Meanwhile, the incessant groans of the monstrosities outside dissuade any illusion of escape.

It has been three days I’ve suffered so, without reprieve.  Not a wink of sleep to be had.  It is now Christmas Eve. Those vile whispers to end it all have turned into a siren’s song. I’m wholly convinced and I have given in.

I’ve readied a suitable end for myself:  sleeping pills and alcohol. Just as I steel my resolve and bring the concoction to my lips, my breath is suddenly stolen from me.  I grasp at my throat, confused and frightened. My throat has closed up. The demon won’t let it end.

It’s pulling me back. It’s not done with me. Laughter washed over me, the laughter of those few women who cared.

I awoke to a deafening noise and the splattering of wood.

It was a gun shot, followed by a second gun shot. As I clumsily stumbled to my feet, the roar of a small motor elicited the agitated cries of all those things the lurked without. I heard the clamor of movement and the gnashing of teeth. As time passed, piercing shrieks fell on top of one another as they mingled against the sound of gunshots and a dull, laboring motor. I sat there, holding my breath. Not quite able to feel a thing, for surely this was just another trick.

Eventually, the commotion subsided. For the first time in days, I had only silence. I hesitated to do what I did next, lest I pull myself away from this newfound reprieve. I approached the door of the cabin and clasped the handle tightly. What met me on the other side was a disheveled man covered in blood and mud with a shotgun in one hand and a chainsaw for the other. I stared blankly at him, unsure of what he might do and unsure of what I should do.

    He spoke:

    “Merry Christmas, baby!”

I've noticed that people in the fuwa forums like art, so I thought I would post some of the art I have made. These are all from about 3 years ago.

This is an image of a promotional poster for the smashing pumpkins album mellon collie and the infinate sadness, that I created on a special black paper that you carve away sections of. Although I made this way too late to actually advertise the album, I would still like to make a poster of this one day.

This is a relief print I made from a small rectangle of linoleum. The image on the left is the first print, the one on the right is the second.

This is a sketch of a girl from the annual zombie walk in Lawrence, Kansas. I was trying to decide on a way to make the skin on her cheek look like it's rotting away. I'am currently in the process of coloring this one, and will upload the finished picture when I can.

Not much to be said about this one, Just a rooster i painted using random shapes to assemble the body.

Alright, this took more time than I thought it would. I haven't actually drawn anything for a little over 2 years. I drew this in pen ( couldn't find a pencil), cleaned it up in gimp, and then colored it in microsoft paint.

Did you get the scene with Kotori alone in the bath? Was there any nudity in the group bath scene. I'm not exactly sure of what was and wasn't removed/censored (I would indeed expect the group bath scene to be removed, but I don't know), but I'm suspecting the patch isn't installed correctly.

    FuwaFever!
    Welcome to Fuwanovel's CurveFever thread!

So many of you must be asking, what is CurveFever? Curve Fever is an amazingly simple but fun, free multiplayer flash game that can be played in your browser.

Very similar to a battle snake game, you and your friends compete to see who's the last one standing in the arena and the one who scores the goal number of points first is declared the winner! There is also a number of power-ups that can be picked up, either to harass your foes or improve your chances of victory.

Recently, I've been playing a few matches here and then with some IRC regulars (nohman, hotsauce2000, ohiowar, Hoshizora, ThatPlayer, and one unnamed member who never identified himself) and so I decided to put this up in the forums so others can join the FuwaFever when they feel like.

    How to Play:
Simply go to http://curvefever.com/play2.php and hit play. If you want to create an account it takes less than a minute (and also makes it easier to find you). Once you're in the game, there's a list of games and two available servers: America and Europe. FuwaFever! games are usually hosted in America unless the server is down. The game controls are even simpler, you simply use arrows to move left and right.

If we can get enough players, we might even have our own FuwaFever! Scoreboard! Join us on IRC and call us for a game if you ever feel like it! (and beware! hotsauce2000 cheats!!!)

OK, THE WINNER HAS BEEN DECIDED!

After a long time playing with all them lolis and closely inspecting them, it has been decided that ZAKAMUTT is the winner!
While all the other images are awesome too (and surprisingly no fat lolis were posted so that's good~), the combination of twintails, blushing, tsun expression, stripped panties and a cute dress (literally) while also being original character and an image I have not seen yet made it the cutest image of this competition~

    So congratulations!

Well since Kendjin closed entries of his giveaway, I will open new one for the people who didn't win and want to get in
Originally I wanted to make it something like remake Hearthstone card into a loli (like I did in the logo above xD) but that would be too hard. So instead I chose something very simple:

The person who posts the cutest winter picture of a loli will win xD

I will be the judge so you need to think about what I would like. Everyone should have an idea what I like and what I don't (so no fat lolis!). If there are 2 images so cute that I cannot decide, I will ask Luch for help so you might want to consider that, if not even Luch can decide I will have to roll a dice . There is no set duration and I will announce the end of the giveaway day in advance so you can take your time to find the cutest loli.

PS: I spent too much time on the logo xD

Request: Raising the signature vertical size limit from 120px to  at least 200px. Before the Fuwapocolypse, the upper limit was around 300 I believe. 120 is just way too little for me to play with limiting my theme choices to a select few images that have just the right aspect ratio. 200 vertical is typically the most anyone should need anyway and still not so tall that it would stretch the page much.

Edit: I believe forum staff doesn't actually have this limit to deal with.

    Hearthstone - What is it?

So... I have come into the possession of another Hearthstone BETA key and I decided that perhaps there are those out there that might want a key to play in the BETA.

    Rules are simple...

Post an anime image that shows emotion, it can be any emotion, but the stronger the emotion the better.

NOTE: Please do not post NSFW images (a tad ecchi is allowed, anything not forum friendly will not win)

I am going to pick the winner at a random point. There is no set finish time, it could be in an hour, it could be 24, so get those posts in if you would like in.
