    Welcome to the community.
  2. I actually thought about not mentioning Deardrops for a quite while, simply because of how important Eiji is to the band. I'm confused; what are you talking about? Eiji is the best heroine in the game.
  3. Thank you for the well wishing.
  4. +1 for Deardrops. I had briefly considered mentioning it myself, but Grisaia won out for me. Still that game's up there when it comes to a solid, varied cast of likable characters.
  5. While her route did have more than its fair share of problems, more than any other route + ending (good or bad) in the game, her bad ending was the one that hit me with the most feels. That CG man... That alone put it above Emi and Hanako's route in my book.
  6. Next to Lilly, Shizune was my favorite heroine in KS - again, not speaking to route quality. I'll see you behind the school at 3 PM to fight you.
  7. Without regards to route quality, I'd probably say Grisaia's cast. All of them cracked me up, more than any other visual novel.
  8. Welcome to the forums.
  9. True love™ and vanilla ero-content. I wish I was more than only half-kidding.
  10. Rocket League is one of those games I've watched 20+ hours of other people stream, but have never actually played myself. Wish I didn't miss the month it was free on PS+, but at the same time, my sense of coordination is shit-tier so it's probably for the best.
  11. Not speaking to the examples provided, but is SODS always indicative of bad writing? You don't get the thrill of recollection that Palas mentioned and you don't get to make all the little connections in your head, but sometimes drama needs to be spontaneous and hit you like a truck - either due to the nature of the event or for artistic impact. Dramatic events aren't always explicitly or subtly telegraphed in real life after all and I could conceive of some examples where it would be more organic for there not to be any foreshadowing in the story at all.
  12. I've got some tentative plans with a friend, but if that falls through absolutely nothing. Well, besides finishing my yearly 31 days of Halloween movie month.
  13. Saw Bridge of Spies last weekend. In spite of the critical (and audience) acclaim, I just didn't like it. Felt wholly mediocre, with all the Spielberg story beats you'd expect. A portion of my disappointment might be due to my own misaligned expectations, as I went in craving something in the vein of John le Carre in spite of the trailer leading you to expect otherwise.
  14. Is your PSN nohman? Been doing a lot of PS gaming recently. If you want to add me, my PSN tag is Hobozenful.
  15. Probably says a lot about me that this and Starless were the VNs I was looking forward to the most this year. I'll probably hold off on playing the trial though since it's a definitive buy for me anyway.
  16. Picked up my copy of Tales of Zestiria for the PS4 today. Relatively excited to get started on it.
  17. Welcome to the forums, I hope you'll stick around. We don't really bite all that hard.
  18. Finally broke down and bought a PS4. Been playing Bloodborne. A LOT of Bloodborne. Too much Bloodborne.
  19. Pink? It's a dream come true. NOBODY WAKE ME UP.
  20. Welcome to the forum, I hope to see you around.
  21. I dreaded the day the update would come. Gravity Green is life. Gravity Green is love. Gravity Green is best theme. GIVE GRAVITY GREEN ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
  22. I'm only about half way through myself, but I'd say it at least holds up. Pacing is still phenomenal, the story still pays plenty of attention to sports physiology/psychology, and the character development is still above any other sports anime I've seen bar none. S2 seems to have a greater emphasis on the romantic relationship between Eiichiru and Natsu too, so you might end up liking it better if that's your sort of thing.
  23. Welcome to the community, it's good to have you. I hope to see you around the forums.
