More like Kara no Shoujo didn't earn them enough money. They don't release nukige all the time because they want to (Kouryuu has said that he prefers story based titles) but sadly Nukige are selling much better or at least they're much profitable as the cost of translating one is much cheaper. Sadly

The true ending for Kagetsu Tohya can be really hard to get and if you don't get it on the first try you'll have to erase your global.sav and redo the game from the beginning (though it's sometimes possible to get it by reloading an earlier save, depends if you have any save that has the correct "game slate" so you'll be able to set the flags.) So it definitely needs a walktrough. You could probably use this one and modify it a bit since it was made pre-translation.

These kind of stories tend to do pretty badly commercially in the first place. This is definitely the right kind of series to go crazy with artistically since it wouldn't been a hit no matter what they did with it.

What's wrong with having one anime that looks a little different? I'm glad that this is getting made because as much as I like moe art I want variety most of all. I want all kinds of art in the anime I watch.

I think the face thing might be intentional actually. I thought that it was rather neat anyway. I mean you don't really 'see' the faces of people who are far away anyway an as they come closer you notice more and more of their features.

There's no way that Aku no Hana was going to be a commercial success anyway.

I like the anime art and the manga art actually. I think that the anime art adds another dimension and makes you look at things from another perspective. The manga and anime complete each other in some regard I think.

I haven't read Period but the art is one of the major draws for LittleWitch titles so if you don't like it you may be better off reading something else.

yeah I think a many assume that when they change their language/format to japanese they're changing locale when they aren't.

WAB (What a Beautiful) is what the Steampunk series was formerly called. It's a series of steampunk games by Liar-Soft. Two of the VN's in the series have been translated Sekien no Inganock and Shikkoku no Sharnoth. Both are absolutely fantastic.

You shouldn't need to use japanese locale for F/SN (though some locales like Korean can't run it). At least it has always worked fine for me without it. You're probably missing the font (monakrkr). I have extracted the font from the patch and uploaded it to mediafire since it doesn't seem to be available for download anywhere on the interwebs. Cross Channel might be your cup of tea. Also Forest and the Steampunk series. And the final route of Ever17 is mindblowing though I can understand if you find the earlier routes hard to stomache.

In no particular order Clannad After Story Chihayafuru Mawaru Penguindrum Koi Kaze Madoka Steins;Gate Fate/Zero Keroro Gunsou ...I have watched quite a bit more than this but they don't fit into my personal top-tier. (i should get to watching stuff like Utena and Lain instead of stuff like Oreimo and Haruhi. I certainly enjoy the latter series but they're not really things I love) Shin Sekai Yori might fit in here but I have only watched a few episodes.
