Seriously, though, that one kiss scene was hotter than the sum total of all the H scenes in a few eroge I've played.

I am also confused by why she is so popular. I thought maybe her route was just really good, but after reading it, my impressions are that it was just weird and confusing (Maybe I just wasn't used to the storytelling style yet. I liked Mio's route much better even though it employed a similar pattern). I suppose she is cute with her "Wafuu!", but not as adorable as Rin anyway.

To be honest, I'm kind of surprised that in all of this, you don't have more to say about Kurugaya's route. I found it one of the most intriguing ones. I suspect you're going to get even more annoyed by Mio's route, actually, but I definitely recommend you to stick with the game anyway, because Refrain is where Little Busters! really picks up, and you're almost there.

Still reading Little Busters, and I have no idea what to think of it at this point. I'm through Komari, Rin part 1, Kurugaya, Haruka, and just now finished Kud's route.
In any case, I'm not sure whether it's my approach to reading it, me being too stupid to grasp what's going on, or it requiring a formidable ability of suspending disbelief, but this VN is still far below my expectations. I hope it gets better at least for Mio route.

Hey all. This is probably entirely out of the blue for 99% of you, but I'd like to introduce The Broadcast Club, a new VN focused podcast hosted by myself and two other members of /r/visualnovels: RallinaTricolor and Nakenashi . We also have community member Nai on as a guest for this pilot episode. This idea has been floating around for several months now, but a big move from Rallina put things on the backburner for a while. We finally got settled into a place where we can start regularly working on episodes, and so we've put together our first one. You can find Episode One here:
    http://thebroadcast.club/2017/02/16/episode-1-english-visual-novels/
We'd all really appreciate it if you'd take a listen! We're (mostly) happy with how it turned out, so I hope you'll enjoy!

If you do listen, feel free to leave us some feedback. We've all already taken our own notes as to what to improve for next time  but we're interested in what our potential audience has to say as well so constructive feedback on what you liked, or didn't like, is very welcome! Any questions in general about the podcast as well, feel free to ask!

If you liked what you heard and are interested in contributing in the future, we're interested in having a steady rotation of guests on. We have specific guests in mind for some topics we'd like to cover (like Nai for this one), but we'd also like to be able to invite interested community members to take part too, so if you're enthusiastic about VNs and able to contribute to discussion, we'd love to invite you on.
Also, many thanks to the fantastic gogopri for contributing her artwork for our visuals on the blog.
If you have a twitter and interested in following our progress or asking to get on or feedback feel free to follow us here:

Still, quite impressive that it can produce something remotely human-looking from an 8x8 image.

Started reading Little Busters last week; finally finished a route today (Komari). So far, the game is a fair bit under my expectations, unfortunately. The common route was quite long and boring—pure slice of life, essentially. I was expecting something similar to Rewrite where they toss in some mysterious developments or otherwise once in a while to spice things up, but that was pretty much absent in LB.
While I never expected to like Komari, I had high hopes for a lot of the other characters. So far, though, they don't seem THAT great... Futaki apparently doesn't even have a route in the normal version of the game, which is a big disappointment. (PE translation isn't released yet? I reckon I'll have to read the Japanese version later, then.) Saigusa is... okay, but she also annoys me quite a bit, which I didn't expect. I do like her mischievous nature, though. Kurugaya and Rin exceeded my expectations slightly, and I really like the latter's mix of being an antisocial and blunt tomboy. Nishizono is about how I expected her to be, and has potential for best girl. Not sure what to think of Kud yet, besides that she is cute.
The music is good, there are several tracks that I really like already. But all of them are action/cheery tracks, and I don't find most of the melancholic ones to be that good. Hopefully the remaining ones I haven't heard yet are better. Also, it actually feels like there are too many tracks... or rather, the game just throws them at you too quickly. I wish they'd instead introduce them more gradually, and reserve some for specific scenes.
Anyway, now to try to get onto Rin's route...

It is indeed completely unexpected that someone with deep psychological issues could behave in an unhealthy way, or cause troubles for those around her. I wonder what they were thinking.

Both Sachi and Touka are messed-up heroines, and should be considered as such. Natsumi, on the other hand, is more of a victim of the system. You are obviously free to not like the game, but I personally didn't find anything wrong with it. Yep, some situations are taken to the extreme to raise the tension, but that's the case for many books/movies/tv series. I loved the game, and in fact chose Touka. Something for everyone, I guess.

    Check out the trailer!:

Inspired by the likes of Dark Souls, Earthbound, and various tabletop RPGs, Karmasutra is an intense, erotic hybrid RPG/Visual Novel taking place in a rich, detailed, open world.

Karmasutra takes place in the world of Tattva - a mysterious, heavenly realm that acts as the final challenge for sinners who seek the call of Nirvana in other worlds. Once home to ancient, sacred civilizations, these eras have now passed; in the wake of this passing, the realm has become an afterlife, a final challenge for restless wandering souls who commit sins in other worlds.

As our protagonist awakes in this strange land, he's quickly introduced to concept of Samsara; the journey across Tattva that all "Wanderers" must undergo to cleanse themselves of sin. Confused by this sudden pitch, our Wanderer also learns that this so-called "call of Nirvana" is not absolute; in fact, there are some Wanderers that choose to ignore the call in exchange for the infinite sexual & material pleasures - and dangers - that this mysterious afterlife seems to offer.

In this foreign realm however, Wanderers are not the only residents. From the sacred gurus who guide Wanderers and the demonic Asurian tricksters to the monstrous manifestations of sin and the Gods themselves, Tattva is never truly what it seems. But in this mysterious world, where both the path of Sin and the path Merit seem to lead to their own rewards and consequences, which path is truly correct? And more importantly, which path will you, the Wanderer, choose?

Karmasutra is a hybrid VN; it plays as an RPG, and interactions with NPCs are done in typical visual novel form.It takes place in Tattva, a large world, filled with many, many unique NPCs - all with h-scnes - and various smaller events and interactions that can be pursued in parallel to the main story.

Some features include a morality system, which will change the way characters interact with you and dictate certain events across the world of Tattva,

a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired tabletop exploration system, featuring a number of interesting and unique locations,

and a turn-based combat system with a unique twist - instead of just fighting, enemies can also be conversed with, randomly generated with one of many possible personalities per-type of enemy.

And last but not least, here are a few more peaks at some of the game's characters during visual novel scenes:

And some more character art for fun:

    There's monster girls too!

    Progress
The game is currently scheduled for first quarter of this year, a lot of it is currently finished and holding for art. We're considering a crowdfunding campaign, but nothing is confirmed.
