I am appreciative and grateful how much attention got the mod/patch... The patch itself is an selfish project. I just wanted to remove the mosaic in the game because i gathered so much frustration from past localized releases which are with mosaics and said to myself "enough is enough". Wanted to see how hard is to make an uncensored game. Better to release all that frustration in trying to make a difference then complaining on forums/reddit and so on

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of asking you directly the question you did just answer but didnt wanted to annoy you with my noob questions. I am already using your Freemote tools ( viewer, psb build, decompiler) which are great and powerful. And without it this patch wouldnt be possible. It is an honor to meet you here :). I will put credits in the op.

To tell you the truth, even the full featured version Emote Editor won't be able to edit PSB (or json from PSB), since PSB is "compiled". Emote Editor only accepts MMO (project file, or json from MMO), which contains many metadatas while PSB removed them. I would like to let my FreeMote recover MMO from PSB but that is hard like - as you said - hieroglyphs. The workaround of editing animation right now, is rather to understand and edit json, or to use scripts calling Emote API to make additional animation.
Edit: The latest preview version of FreeMote is able to (partially) recover that "hieroglyphs" - which means it's (almost) possible to edit PSB animations.

Hmm.. Just opened that part and it played just fine. I think it's an issue with the DLC vs the Fakku release. I can't do anything about that at the moment because I don't have the DLC to test. Also, just figured out how to do all the .psb file stuff(hopefully?) so that should be in the next update. Keep in mind, it will be at or above 250mb. After that is voice repair.
If you run into any issues from the vanilla game that were not mentioned previously, please comment.

Figuring out how the Steam release worked was such a damn pain.
Not much was updated, apart from a few thousand scene seek thumbnails. Mainly giving Steam users some love.

Maitetsu WIP Decensor patch thread
The main issues I was dealing with while making that patch that most certainly limited how much I can do are:
1. KrkrExtract just doesn't want to cooperate majority of the time when extracting XP3's.
2. When it does, it doesn't even extract the stuff I needed.
3. Repairing the sprites requires my being able to repack EMote .pbs files with edited .bmp images. Not hard at all to do, just repacking is the issue AFAIK
4. The data.xp3 is encrypted. About half of it KrkrExtract can get done, but the half that i'd need to fully repair the "filesystem" I guess you can say into something usable is.
5. God help me TJS2 bytecode is one of the most disgusting atrocities I have seen.

New Year is coming - time for some news. ^^
We finished the 1st QC pass. We still need to tweak some stuff, fix a few issues and then playtest the (hopefully) final version of the patch so it will take some time, but we're getting close~ish to releasing it.

@syfjhz22 We finished 1st QC pass of the common route, and Ageha's route is pretty much done as well. Other routes generally aren't at 50% yet. Also, we'll probably be tweaking the common route a bit more, so I wouldn't say it's definitely finished.

Yeah, the initial goal was to make the patch for MoeNovel's version - and it might happen eventually. Right now we are focusing on the patch for the JP version, because it's far more convenient - 6-7 MB patch is easier to share than 2+ GB monster that would be required for the heavily butchered edition. It can be used as a basis to make patches for other versions later.

After some initial QC, it turned out that common route still needs some more work - at the beginning I was only focusing on fixing mistranslations, and since the common route wasn't compltely screwed up, there's still quite a lot of MoeNovel's garbage writing left there. So, I'm going to check the whole common route again and edit it a little more. Fixing the writing shouldn't take too long and will improve the quality a lot, so it's worth the effort.
I'm on vacation now, so don't expect any updates for the next 2-3 weeks though.

As everyone already know, MoeNovel released crippled EN version of popular in Japan game Kono Oozora ni, Tsubasa wo Hirogete.
Both translation quality and removal of significant portion of game provide substandard experience to EN auditory, not worth the money they ask for it.
So here comes our project to fix at least some of these problems.
First patch released!
Notes for patch:
1. Japanese locale needed!
2. On Windows 7/8 you have to install game OUTSIDE of Program Files directory or use fixed bat files!
3. One 100-lines script on Ageha route missed QC and editor there used [] instead proper quotes for spoken lines, fix is here: http://rghost.net/47445403 (Just replace old one in game folder with this file)
Next stage: QC everything, do TLC on MN part of route scripts, fix bugs with first patch. ETA for release: end of July, but obviously sooner if anything serious is spotted with first patch.
Still looking for more QC and TLC volunteers.
