  1. Still a better game than Loren The Amazon and other half bake EVN VN hybrids haven't finished the game yet however I did had fun playing it! Hope to see a sequel soon enough XD Also this game is now available in GOG.COM! Please also advertise the GOG.COM page as well! Steam Sucks balls anyways!
  2. Its one of few decent titles available at winterwolves and this title is their very first VN hybrid if I remember it correctly, I played with it a couple but wasn't able to finish it then I've stopped halfway... Perhaps I got bored with it since the whole RPG mechanics seems kinda repetitive and clunky, however I do like the art in this VN but it wasn't enough to keep my interest up high to continue investing on playing the game... Well it was nice and all... I had more fun playing Aselia The Eternal and Yumina.... Sundrider is a better option, the first game being free and all!!!
  3. Hmm... I believe the protagonist in Hanachirasu is rather a very vicious character raping female enemies before mercy killing them Tsuki Possession and Virgin Roster has despicable, evil protagonist as you would prefer
  4. I've just recently finished watching Shagri-la, such a unusual anime that has some Ergo Proxy vibe to it... the art seemed to be decent enough, the story was somehow "believable" at certain point having a Post-Apocalypse setting, carbon emission indexing totally replaced the stock market or works similar to it. Still pretty confuse about it but the good kind in a way! I had some time actually contemplating my life's purpose whoa! Now I'm going to watch Saekano: How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend and see if it's any good!
  5. Hmm......... Norton by Symantec... Well not a really comprehensive Anti-Malware app and I personally wouldn't recommend that software to my clients alongside with Avast, Avira, McAfee, ESET, and other under-performing Anti-Malware/Virus apps or software. Norton consumes too much Memory/Processes even its just running the background... Tried using it in clearing a infected client's PC, didn't get the job done... As for Lastpass, yeah it does provide some partial measure of protection but utterly useless if your PC is already infected with Malwares, Viruses, or worse, Rootkit and botnet since it can literally see what God knows your doing in your browser... Well if your going to use lastpass, might as well add a extra extension called Adguard. It'll protect your browser from phishing attacks and annoying Pop Ups found on various websites plus its free! Since I understand most people prefer to spend money on entertainment products than the ones that protects their data or PC for that matter so yeah There's a other version of Adguard that could hide and rename your IP address without the need of using a actual VPN but I'll discuss it some other time... Whatever your course of action is Hetzer123, wish you all the best and hoping these security issues wouldn't prevent you from enjoying playing Visual Novels! I like your name by the way and do you like German Tanks in general since reading your name reminds me of this stuff Anyways thank you for time reading my post, I personally use Malwarebytes on my PC for security purposes and its the BEST Anti-Malware/Virus for the Windows OS, having HitmanPro as backup only...
  6. I suppose so since its free and all, however that's just a add on extension for a browser which doesn't provide any real protection against phishing and other cyber attack from Hackers or from malwares and viruses which are the main causes of security breaches from most people. Google Chrome Incognito could be effective in a some ways since it does not save your browsing history but I wouldn't rely on that for most of the time, I rather use a VPN software if I desire full protection from the Internet... Anyways if you don't mind me asking, what kind of Anti-Virus/Anti Malware apps/software are you using by any chance?
  7. It's pretty safe to purchase games from Depasoft since they're a legit digital store for Visual Novels, same goes with Mangagamer and JAST USA... Heck Depasoft has their own custom made installers for their games/VNs similar to JAST USA DRM free installers and GOG.com For security purposes on both your privacy and banking/payment aspects, I suggest you use HitmanPro Alert Anti Malware while making your purchases online. That software literally protects your keystrokes while you type your password and other sensitive information... Plus its scanner may permanently delete the stored cookies and browsing histories in google chrome or other search engine apps to prevent hackers from stealing your data and essential stuffs... If you don't want to buy the software, just use a 30-Day Trial Free Version while doing any kind of online purchases, believe me it'll save you from a lot of problems since the Internet is very dangerous place nowadays, nothing is absolutely safe anymore A friendly advice from a Anti Malware Specialist!
  8. Hmm... I'll stick my money with GOG.COM, not gonna spend anything on Steam anytime soon.
  9. Time is cruel sometimes, nothing last forever in this earth. Change will always take place for better or worse... Well I'm a kind of guy who discovered Visual Novels by playing OELVNS, Long Live The Queen being my first one and totally transitioned into those original, true Japanese VNs as I learned how awesome the medium was! And I ended up here in Fuwanovel in my pursuit of searching the best VNs in existence! No one knows what the future may bring, however as long as there are Visual Novels, Fuwanovel will always be a relevant site for both newbies and veterans alike. I'm glad to be here since it has a much friendlier atmosphere than the ones in Beast's Lair wherein disputes could quickly got blown out of proportion At the very least I feel at peace or at home whenever I roam around on Fuwanovel...
  10. Long Live The Queen is a game about choices since most of the decision that are presented might led you straight to the grave Just take a look of many awful ways that my princess died in picking the wrong choices While more of a simulator than a actual Visual Novel, its still pretty nice to play from time to time
  11. Umm... Is that so? Well at least I tried Machiavelli and Sun Tsu principles and writings, while highly efficient in the area of politics, business and the military. However its somehow very pragmatic, cold, ruthless, necessary evil. Love is illogical since emotions couldn't be measure by practical, conventional means. Certain conditions must be met if you want to achieve love and happiness... You already know that for your a highly intelligent, academic individual... Keep in mind your also a human being with a living soul whether you believe in the Gods or whatsoever that requires emotional nourishment from time to time, by now your aware what is going to happen if you neglect that other part of yourself. love is like oxygen, without it, there's no reason for being alive in the first place If Machiavelli and Sun Tsu are the only people you draw upon inspirations, your missing quite a lot, nonetheless its not my place judge people's taste in reading materials or precepts of their lives. Your very entitled for your own good... Anyways I won't troubled you and many thanks for your time in listening, wish you all the best and hope you'll find whatever it is your looking for in this lifetime......... On a unrelated topic, if you guys have a GOG.COM account, they're giving a free game today, still have a couple of hours before the offer expires! get it now for anybody's who's interested! Free game is always a good game especially from GOG!
  12. I understand your predicament, however let me ask you something... What do you expect to get out of your education or masters degree once you completed them all and such? What's your endgame or if there's any in the first place? What's the purpose of all the time spend on your education? Is it worth it? If you end up loathing yourself? Why do you have to subject yourself to suffering in such a way? Was it your choice? Does it give meaning to your existence? The behaviors that you exhibit is often a sign for people who lack ambition, or sense of purpose and direction in their lives. They often choose to follow the crowd without distinguishing themselves to the masses... Its time to throw away your academic textbooks and start reading self development or self help books. Learn to live your life! That's something schools, university cannot you teach, you'll have to find it yourself. I realized it the hard way!
  13. Your very much welcome! Just PM me whenever you wish discuss something! I also welcome the company of others lol And one more thing, since your a gal or whatever your profile suggest, I also recommend playing Long Live The Queen and Hatoful Boyfriend being few of my first Visual Novels that I read! You'll be totally surprised what they really are!
  14. Greetings! and welcome to the community! Your English seems alright and presentable, no need to be so hard on yourself Anyways my recommendations would be the Fault Milestone which is one of the best Visual Novels for beginners and a very recent title to boot! The third entry is still under production and delayed Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius Is a free western visual novel with some gameplay aspect, try getting the GOG.com version, its much better than the steam ones since it allows you to carry the installer on any given media storage and install the game in any number of PC that you have. On a unrelated note, I suggest you head to GOG.com to get this free wonderful game while it still last, you have 1 more hour i guess before the giveaway expires... Better hurry Hope you have fun here!
  15. Saku Saku: Love blooms with the cherry blossoms and Gaokao.Love.100Days are somehow similar to Fureraba and Princess Evangile as the setting is a High School romance drama of sorts so I'll think you like it! Other light stories that I familiar with are the Fault Series if your alright with Kinetic Visual Novels which does not require much interaction from the player and little to no decision making... More like just reading a book without expectations... Its the kind of VN you'll read if you just want to listen to a good story and relax.
  16. Been watching some of of his game reviews from awhile ago which is pretty comprehensive to say the least. It's such a sad moment that one of the finest game reviewers passed away... I hope he'll find peace in the afterlife...
  17. Honestly speaking. I don't expect much from out of a Visual Novel whenever I read them leisurely I just accept them for what they are at face value, if a certain title sucks, then it sucks balls, if the visual novel was compelling and epic in proportion, then lucky me I guess for not wasting my time and got a decent entertainment and learned something new in the process People get disappointed for setting high standards and expectations for certain things in life. To make life simple and easier, I consider stuffs such as videos games, Anime, books, and Visual Novels in particular as akin to "Food" Yep sound crazy since I'm one of those All foods could be consume in so many different ways however while they may all be edible, not every food provides the same nutrients and we somehow get fed up from eating the same food everyday that we oftentimes explore other types of dishes in satisfying our taste buds Same goes with Visual Novels Anime, and video games. All of these are entertainment in general however each offers a unique experience contrary to each other. My answer to your question is: It depends on what you make out of your experience from watching anime or reading Visual Novel in general.
  18. Rejoice! The impossible actually happened! GOG.COM finally publishing Visual Novels for real! Never knew this day would come It's a good thing I have a account there! I can now now purchase VNs straight through GOG instead of going to the developers website or something! Hope to see more quality VNs to be published on GOG like RPG hybrids and all that wonderful stuffs!
  19. GOG.COM finally releases some of their few first visual novel titles!!!! I thought I was dreaming or something that GOG.com would ever consider publishing VNs on their store but here it is. The world is changing so fast Perhaps the situation isn't so bleak after all since this is GOG.com we are talking about!
  20. Whoa! The art is pretty colorful and eye catching! The theme of the game revolving around paranormal investigations aside from the oblivious Yuri action elements really pique my interest since I dabbled into such practice myself whenever time allows it, although mine is more is on the occultism side Nevertheless what I see before me is a very promising Visual Novel! Wish you all the best in your endeavors in manifesting your projects into reality!
  21. I kind of notice some of their titles are missing all of the sudden, even Kana Little Sister and its remake were mysteriously remove from their store. We should ask them on their tweeter account or something to verify matters. No one knows yet why it happen, heck maybe JAST USA isn't even aware of it Family Project is still available on J-List Have you played the game already or haven't yet?
  22. There's a adult heroine in Family Project if I remember correctly....
  23. In terms of game technicality, yeah I agree its pretty inconvenient and a nightmare to the average consumers in having to manually patch the games they've already purchase on day one just to resolve some glitches Veterans Visual Novels readers/players such ourselves would not consider this a big deal since we need to be a little techno savvy in running up our games or apply a English patch in making a VN readable, however how about the common folks who just wants to get the good stuff but does not possess the necessary skills therein More time should be spend in playing and enjoying the games that we buy instead of worrying regarding any possible bugs that would ruin the experience Steam seem to make life a little easier thanks to their automatic patches and updates that installs silently in the background while we play around with our games... Although given a choice, I rather stick and choose JAST USA and Mangagamer stores than to contend with a hypocrite of a company who instantly condemning visual novels due to their suggestive contents?! At least the company mentioned above are honest with themselves and the products that they sell! Their customer service is already bad enough, this situation only adds to the list of atrocities inflicted upon humanity itself! More reason to hate Steam! Nevertheless, like it or not, we NEED Steam since they're the ones who started digital game distribution revolution in the first place and somehow help give Visual Novels a noticeable presence in the gaming community more or less by making it available on their store............... Just a thought, is it possible to make Fuwanovel a store front for Visual Novels?
  24. Your welcome and it's alright to fall apart and be broken from time to time. Don't be ashamed of that. We're just human beings, we cope up with suffering by expressing through many kinds of outlets to expel it out of our systems. It's only a matter of time your going to feel a little better and refresh since you release it through writing which is actually a good thing. One of the harsh realities I learned throughout my life is that "pain" or "Suffering" will and shall always be part of our lives from past, present, future, until the moment the we descend onto Death's Door. There's no avoiding that, however one productive and sure way in making our lives easier is to "Choose" what kind of pain your willing to suffer, the good kind of problem that you'll enjoy solving like playing a complicated video game or something similar. Choose your battles wisely and always work for yourself before others, it's not selfishness, its called self-preservation for you cannot help others if you don't help yourself first... Heheh sorry I kinda went off topic for I can sometimes become philosophical from time to time, one of few ways I know how to cope up and heal emotional pain quicker is through reflexology or acupressure. It's a better option than going to a psychiatrist or psychologist and a waste of money in my opinion since they're busy asking you lame questions than treating the heart of the problem. Although you'll just have to endure it since it's a little painful if your not familiar with and if its your first time, after the session you'll get instant results in a day! Heck you can even learn it and treat yourself if your desperate or serious enough. I'll even give you a book about it if you like! Anyways hope my advice helps and take care!
  25. Greetings and welcome to the Fuwa forums! Hope you enjoy your stay here! If your interested in enlisting your services or skills in translation projects, you can check this place out and register your set of skills and etc... Anyways wish you'll find what your looking!
