  1. I never actually had someone special since I prefer to be alone, sparring me from the drama and all which involves having a commitment with a certain person. I'll always be loveless I guess hehehe Anyways happy valentines folks!
  2. At first, the reason why I started playing/reading visual novels in the first place was for its colorful arts/character design for it really resembles the ones commonly seen on anime. Being a avid anime viewer, I was really intrigued about Visual Novels as a general for the very first time! As time went on and I stumble upon other Visual Novels along the way. My overall expectations and taste or preference or whatever you called it just suddenly changed. I'm much more concern nowadays about a Visual Novel's particular translation quality since no matter how impressive or wonderful a specific Visual Novel's Storyline/Setting or Characters or the Arts could ever be. If a VN wouldn't bring itself to fully convey its emotional significance to the readers which is me and keeps on encountering mistakes all over. When that happens, how can I or someone will care for the VN's storyline or the character as a whole since weren't able to really understand it or enjoy it? Secondly aside from the Translation quality and overall writing, I also onto the Art Style and Character Design and their developments throughout the game.
  3. It's alright. Umm... Windows 8 or 8.1 isn't really friendly to most old programs and visual novels. I tried playing Aselia The Eternal on Wind 8 and started to crushes and stuffs. Also My Girlfriend Is The President suffers the same problem and requires a compatibility patch for it to be playable in Win 8. I installed and played Steins Gate on a Window 7 OS and everything seems to be running just fine without any issues except for a very rare crush that happen once when I was messing up with Okabe's cellphone. Other than that, everything runs smoothly enough to complete the entire route of any heroine in that game. It isn't Revo's fault or Steins Gate. Just Windows 8 being a crappy OS. Only install and play Visual Novels on Window 7 and Windows 10 but 7 is better I suppose
  4. Try using Revo Uninstaller and have the game installed through it. If it doesn't work and if you don't mind, umm you could download the pirated version of the game which works just fine like the original digital installer JAST USA has. Would you like to have the link for it?
  5. Currently playing Darkest Dungeon. The visuals are pretty lively and sleek even in 2D! Very addictive although somehow very frustrating at times. I spend too much resources on my Veteran Party members only to get slaughtered in the end!? God damn it this game but still like you! The game looks like this. Even though I kept on dying numerous time, cannot seem to stop playing it because its so much enjoyable XD
  6. I've upgraded my previous Windows 8.1 64 bit OS to Windows 10 64 bit since its much better and superior than win 8 in every way and I wanted to try it out ever since. Ever since then it runs just quite alright without any issues. I tried installing some VNs and most of them work smoothly. Umm... If most of you are concerned about privacy regarding Microsoft doing sinister stuffs onto your PCs like gathering details in your PC or updating unnecessary spyware programs on your OS without your consent. You could manually delete the windows system file named "svchost.exe" found somewhere in the system files of windows to permanently disable or cut off Windows 10/Microsoft capability to update or gather information from your PC for good if you wish to use Win 10 without any updates or other interference. Although by doing so you'll be unable to use the windows store and other functions which beats the purpose of using Win 10 since "svchost.exe" is a very vital windows file, almost every program needs this thing to be able to be fully functional or they'll be totally messed up big time. Also if you delete "svchost.exe" incorrectly or deleted other windows files by accident, there's a huge chance for your PC to be mortally damaged and the only way to fix it is either to revert your OS to a certain point where win 10 was first freshly installed or reinstall it entirely which is really bothersome to do. Ever since with Win 10, you no longer have the option or the choice to choose which updates you wish your PC to acquire as the OS itself automatically determines which updates your PC, whatever programs the Win 10 OS deems essential for your PC to have, thus you're likely won't be able to know whatever programs or updates has actually taken place giving the impression that they're doing something suspicious. Unlike before with Win 7 and Win 8 whereas you have absolute full control on which updates you want to have for your PC such as the different option language packages, security and hardware updates or other miscellaneous updates ranging from the important ones with the purely optional ones. Win 10 no longer gives you that kind of control which is a bit shameful but somehow understandable... At the moment I'm running my PC where I actually removed "svchost.exe" and every seems to be alright ever since the day I upgraded from win 8 to 10, except that I cannot use the Windows Store and the other numerous functions Win 10 has. However most of my VNs and other games still runs smoothly since they're not complex programs/software. Discovered this thing by accident and just wanted to share it if ever you guys wanted to upgrade or use Win 10 without any updates or other interfering stuff from Microsoft just to be on the safe side since its much better than Win 8. But if your already using Win 7, then there's no need to upgrade since Win 7 is the best OS to date when it comes to compatibility of certain software or programs. Hope this helps or maybe not XD
  7. Just completed watching Log Horizon Season 1 and 2. Pretty nice anime, better than Sword Art Online I should say! Hope to see a another season because it left somehow of a cliffhanger in the last episode of the second season. Now continuing my anime marathon via watching Beyond The Boundary, starting to like it already and the visual is pretty awesome!
  8. Done and done! Hope to see more great VNs titles coming on Mangagamer and not just the usual bland nukige VNs which normally plagues Mangagamer's Store. Umm... It would be very nice if someone would localized the enhanced version of Phantom Of Inferno on PC.
  9. Greetings there! Nice to meet a fellow newbie around! Hope you enjoy your stay and make plenty of friends
  10. Couldn't actually remember about who my most favored heroine was. I suppose it'll be Aselia then And would also like to add Elodie from Long Live The Queen.
  11. Oh God?! Apologies for double posting?! My browser got crashed and I accidentally save my post twice. Ah is there a way to delete my other post? Please help....
  12. Hmm... I don't really favor one VN genres over the other as I played different kinds of it ranging from fantasy to mystery/detective or some traditional school comedy VNs settings. I'll play whatever types of genre I fancy depending of my mood. Also I somehow beginning to like VNs with RPG gameplay elements attached to it such as Aselia The Eternal And Yumina The Ethereal which adds a certain layer to it aside from the already great storyline these games has, making these kinds of game more enjoyable to play than the average VNs out there with multiple routes. Although I'm not implying that there's anything wrong with it. Anyways, I'll play anything that gets my ways as long as the storyline is decent enough and the English translation or localization is understandable and well polished with cool eye candy artworks of course!
  13. If my memory serves right. My first visual novel would be Long Live The Queen, found it charming with a dark twist. A very good place to start read for newbies in the VN genre... Soon I got interest with reading more VNs and went reading through some Winterwolves title games like Flower Shop and Loren The Amazon Princess. Although not that great, they're pretty decent enough to read to pass the time. After for quite a while has fast, I realized that what I read before were all Western Visual Novels made by people in the west to popularize the Visual Novel Genre which has its roots in Japan. When I found out Visual Novels are of Japanese Origins, I first tried the Fan Translation of Fate Stay Night, then I went on with JAST USA official English translation of Steins Gate. Ever since I enjoy reading VNs, though as of now I wasn't really able to complete most of my playthrough due to lack of time and commitment... Hope I'll have some more extra time to read them this new year around and to be able to fully appreciate on what they have to offer
  14. Greetings everyone and a happy new year to all! Umm... Actually I'm quite clueless on what to do with my life at the moment this new year and I got no resolution or whatsoever... Like I'm simply existing like most people do instead of living out my life the way I want it to be... Perhaps my first objective this new year is to resume my studies after a long break if possible and will be soul-searching on what I really want to do with my life before my time runs out. Sometimes I wonder why being alive and all is so hard like a pain in the ass!? Also, I'll try my best to be more productive and being less lazy as of before by perhaps resuming my alternative medicine self study in Chinese Reflexology healing arts and restudying Witchcraft/Occult magicks theories. Hmm... Any suggestions on how to get rid of being lazy or being such a sloth XD Anyways I wish you all the best this new year folks! Hope you'll all find what you seek...
  15. Visual Novels with dark and gloomy atmosphere... Umm... Will Steins Gate do?
  16. https://vndb.org/v16006 https://vndb.org/v1953 Try one of these, they're pretty short. Or also you could try playing one of WinterWolves VNs since most of their games are quite short. https://vndb.org/v6267 https://vndb.org/v10587 https://vndb.org/v649 https://vndb.org/v6533 Happy Holidays!
  17. 1. Walkthrough Kara no Shoujo: http://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/12352-kara-no-shoujo/. 2. The wallpaper profile is a feature given to members who donate to the site (backers). Oh, and moderators like me Yay! Thank you so much for giving me some directions, I thought I'll never find a walkthrough for the particular game. Most helpful! Could finally play the game back again! And oh the wallpaper profile feature is only usable backers and moderators alike. Thanks for clarifying. My sincere apologies for asking such noob questions. I'm still new here and all...
  18. Whoa! Thanks for the warm welcome! Much appreciated! Hmm... if you don't mind me asking. Ah where can I find a walkthrough for Kara No Shoujo? I kind of saw one before here however I couldn't able to get access to it? The link is something like this: http://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/12352-kara-no-shoujo/ Umm... Could someone tell me on where to find a walkthrough for this Visual Novel cause I keep on getting murdered by the mysterious serial killer and really wish to reach the true ending. Also... How do you put a wallpaper next to your avatar on your profile like most people do? I'm quite clueless on how to do it Thank you for reading!
  19. Greetings to each and everyone here! I'm mostly a PC gamer and a anime fan. I stumble upon visual novels quite by accident while surfing the Internet through playing Long Live The Queen and Clannad. Ever since then I somehow develop a liking to Visual Novels which has a certain charm to it. Been lurking in here on the Walkthrough section for quite a while then finally decided to join in. Hope to find new friends and like-minded people here. Please be gentle...
