  1. I couldn't agree with you more! That professor of ours is always careless and irresponsible with most of his stuffs (especially he's Flash Drives and PCs) and his personnel who does most of the work in the office, never acknowledging or appreciating in the things that we do during his absence. While he goes about traveling around the country attending seminars and other bullshits so forth... Hope something unfortunate is going to happen to that fool so that he'll learn his lesson for good. Well most of the stuffs that I carry on my USB Flash Drives are ISO Images of Microsoft Office Setup files, Encyclopedia Britannica and Encarta Setup files and Anti Malware/Virus programs which are large files, too large to be uploaded on cloud and our office does not have a network or internet connection since we don't need it. We only use computers at the office for encoding documents, computing student's grades and printing documents. Also I live in a third world country, so we're not really that highly advance yet compared to yours in having fast and reliable Internet access to almost every aspect of your daily lives. For goodness sake! Even your refrigerators has Internet too in the U.S. and Europe right? That's why External Hard Drives and USB Flash Drives exist for a reason, despite being vulnerable to virus/malware and among other stuffs, its still the most reliable and convenient way to carry your files and softwares then share it to people and other computers alike. Wouldn't you agree? Even though I hate the entire idea. In addition, if your a privacy conscious person, having files or stuffs stored on cloud base storage is not really secured you know since people who own the cloud base storage service can see or view your files or stuffs, especially if they're of the sensitive nature like ***** photos or the Gods knows what kind of dirty secrets you have stored on their cloud servers Which one do you mean? Regarding how I eliminated the Malware/Virus on the infected PC? Or how I got the virus in first place? Hmm.... It may not look like it but I'm a Freelance Computer Technician specializing in malware removal and PC tune up. If I encountered a new strain of Malware/Virus that I'm unfamiliar with. I always have my own means of finding ways in getting rid of them through research and trial and error methods... It involves a lot of work but the entire ordeal taught me something, that USB Immunizers and Vaccines like Bitdefender and Panda only protects your Flash Drives and other USB Storage devices with only a few specific kinds of Malware/Virus. Which mean it does not render your USB Flash Drives invincible or immune to other viruses or malware circulating the Internet Now I have to find a another way to protect my Flash Drives. Should I encrypt it? or created a Virtual Memory onto it if that's even possible...
  2. The PC got infected with the horrendous Malware/Virus through inserting the USB Flash Drive into it. All the PCs in our particular office was offline, so getting the Virus/Malware from the Internet was out of the question. The Flash Drive belonged to our somehow clueless history professor who's always preoccupied with something on his mind. How he acquired the Virus/Malware onto his flash drive remains a mystery... I've encountered many USB Flash Drives related viruses/Malwares before such as the RECYCLER and Autorun.inf then resolved most of them. But not this monstrosity. I tried manually deleting the aplikasi, Microsoft, and Music folders that the Virus/Malware produces. To no avail, it kept on replicating itself all over the folders and files of your computer and flash drive. I cleaned over 947 traces of Virus/Malware with Emsisoft Emergency Kit alone... The software identifies the Virus/Malware as some kind of Trojan?
  3. Confession: The desktop, ini, Microsoft, Music and Aplikasi Folders Virus/Malware variant is the worse and nasty kind of malware I'm yet to encounter! This vicious Malware/Virus literally destroyed my two recently bought USB Flash Drives beyond recovery! My dad keep of scolding and reprimanding me for 1 week because of the incident... I really feel shit as hell on that particular day all thanks to a virus/malware?! GODDAMN IT!!! Tried seeking help on both Malwaretips and BleepingComputer websites, the so called prestigious, popular website which specializes in (handling/resolving?) removing computer malwares and viruses of all kinds. Heh. But for some reason I couldn't create a account in either websites. It's like they're rejecting my request in becoming a member in their websites and asking for assistance regarding my problem?! Well SCREW THEM ALL TO HELL!!! If they don't like me, I'm better off without them! Pathetic Worms! After days of searching for a goddamn solution or perhaps a cure to this malignant computer virus. I've finally found a way in getting rid of it by using multiple kinds of Malware/Virus Removal Tools through trial and error, by using Emsisoft Emergency Kit, Malwarebytes, autoruns exe, and finally Junkware Removal Tool. Eventually I was able to eliminate the virus/malware infesting on the PC it was located on, but at what cost?!
  4. Confession: Despite being with friends, acquaintances and classmates alike on school. I still feel lonely and all alone... Also I got pretty annoyed being reprimanded with the same mistake I've all day long (sigh)
  5. Greetings and welcome to the community! Wish you have a pleasant stay here!
  6. As long as the story of a particular VN I'm reading is appealing enough that I get lost track of time immersed in the VN and the translations is decently well made. When those criteria of mine are met, I wouldn't mind much in regards of length or the duration it takes in reading a specific VN. It all comes to how much "time" I actually have in reading them as oftentimes I'm busy with real life issues and other boring stuff, College studies and work, also I doing some research on occultism and reflexology from time to time, leaving me so little time to play or even read a VN... Such a sad life I have
  7. I concur with Clephas's suggestions the others as well. Also why don't you try play Blackguards which is a very insanely challenging SRPG from Germany with pretty nice visuals as well!
  8. I prefer playing/reading Visual Novels at my own leisure so that I could get to experience the story or the plot of a specific VN firsthand rather than watching let's play videos on youtube since that's a sign of laziness and not something a avid Visual Novel reader/player would normally do... Also I never like Lost Pause let's play or any of his videos, he's pretty annoying as hell, never really been a fan of his vulgar, nonsensical commentaries and jokes. I just cannot stand to watch his videos, it's quite unbearable at best...
  9. Greetings and welcome to the community! Hope you'll enjoy your stay!
  10. Greetings and welcome to the community forums! Hope your stay would here would be a enjoyable one!
  11. Hmm... For me, Corpse Party is more of a Adventure and horror game and less of a Visual Novel but is it considered one nonetheless, since you'll spend most of your time collecting and examining stuffs such as notes and memoirs left by the victim, solving puzzles, and of course checking out corpses that's littering around in there. There's plenty of gore and blood to see in many creative and exciting ways XD Also its a pretty great game and I really enjoy it despite playing it for the very first time. Give it a try to see it for yourself, hope you'll like it!
  12. 9/10: Kurisu's always cute in my opinion!
  13. Greetings and welcome to the community forums! Best of luck with your project!
  14. Just recently completed watching Baka And Test, both Season 1 and 2 as well as the OVAs too! I spent most of the time laughing at the top of my lungs! One of the best and hilarious anime I could ever watched. Plus the English dubbed is pretty great as well! Now I'll go try watching other similar animes or maybe Gunslinger Girl would be nice...
  15. Whoa! The character designs and visual details looks pretty fantastic! Wish you the best of luck in your project, looks very promising! Hope it makes it way through Steam and possibly, GOG.com! But they're kinda picky when it comes to game selection and stuff...
  16. Greetings and welcome the forums! I wish you'll have a enjoyable stay here! As a beginner when it comes to Visual Novels, I suggest playing Long Live The Queen, Hatoful Boyfriend and its sequel. These games are friendly when it comes to newcomers and it could be a basis whether you'll enjoy spending large amounts of time reading texts through playing these games or VNs. Also try picking up Steins Gate to get a real taste of what a real Japanese Visual Novel feels like since the ones I recommended are above Original English Language Visual Novels or OELVN which are not Japanese in origins and are only meant to entice people into playing into more VNs and the real stuffs. When all is said and done. You could start playing almost any Visual Novels regardless of genre you feel like playing or interested at. Just like My Girlfriend Is The President and School Days. Or Yumina The Ethereal for more gameplay with RPG elements! Wish you have fun playing Visual Novels!
  17. Salutations and welcome to the community forums! I recommend playing Little Witch Romanesque. Its a pretty nice VN with gameplay elements!
  18. You could also use the Windows 8 compatibility patch for my Girlfriend is the president found on JAST USA official game patches website. It works for both Windows 8 and 10 too! It's quite strange why's only happening with the first game, the fandisc seems to be working just fine on both Windows 8 and 10 without any issues unlike the first game...
  19. Greetings there! And welcome to the community! Wish you luck on your project and hope you'll have a enjoyable stay!
  20. Opps! Sorry! What I meant was that hoping Gate would have a "Season 3" Since the first and second was already done, having a total of 24 episodes... My apologies once again!
  21. Just completed watching Gate: Jieitai Kano Chi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri ( whoa sure the tittle was long XD) last night. A pretty fantastic War Anime, haven't watched anything like it before, enjoyed it from the start till the end. Hope they'll make a season 2 of it or perhaps a English dubbed since it'll be great, well in my opinion. Now all I need is to finish watching Monster, God that anime is quite long but very interesting...
  22. Greetings and welcome to the community! Nice meeting you and wish you'll have a happy stay here! Also I love cats as well!
  23. Windows 10 isn't that bad as what others might want you to believe, although I have to agree with them that Win 10 is at the moment being poor and isn't really a great choice for people playing old games or using old software, be it a Visual Novel or a pretty old game. If your current OS is Win 7, just stick with it as long as you can since it's the best OS among the rest when it comes to compatibility in running old games and Visual Novels. If your PC's OS is Win 8/8.1, It'll be a better choice to upgrade it to Win 10 since its somehow much better than Win 8/8.1 in overall comparison and oddly enough has better compatibility capabilities than Win 8 as I can say through experience... Currently using a genuine but damaged version of Win 10 cause I cannot use the apps and the window store as I somehow accidentally deleted some important windows file due to an experiment conducted on my PC, trying out many kinds of Antivirus programs. Nevertheless most of the visual novels I have installed on my PC works just quite alright without any serious problem except for a few adjustments here and there.
