Well, as far as I understand, Main Character is supposed to mean Protagonist here, so I'll stick to them. I personally never keep lists of favorite protagonists or favorite heroines. I like some characters, dislike some other ones, and am mostly neutral to all the others. When it comes to protagonists, it's also really important for me that they have unique personalities and aren't meant to be generic self-inserts. Without any meaning to the order, here is a list of some protagonists I liked: Yuuji, Grisaia. Well, I wouldn't call him a really well made character from a critical point of view, but he is one of the rare ones whose thoughts I really liked to follow. And he is pretty cool, I guess. Takeru, Muv Luv series. I don't particularly like him as a person, but I believe that, as a character, he is actually really well made, with all of his motivations having a clear cause and meaning. Another important moment, it's actually scary how much his emotions during Alternative coincided with my own emotions while reading it. Okabe, Steins;Gate. Well, this one is a bit of a fraud on my part, since I only watched the anime and read a few chapters of the VN. But if I actually finished the VN, I would probably put him at #1. Battler, Umineko. I just like this guy. Yuki, Subahibi. It would be pretty cool if she was a protagonist for a full VN, though it wouldn't work in that case.

Damn. I've been caught. (no) I don't know, this page didn't really change my opinion, but maybe I'm just too tired to interpret it correctly. Again, I don't know what the actual game is about. Looking at the page, I'm not surprised why someone would think why this could be a pedo bait. If you are dealing with somewhat monopolistic companies like Steam, this is your death warrant.

It's way too easy to misinterpret this line. It's easy to put all blame on Valve, and if the game is exactly like you say, they probably deserve it. But you can't expect life to always be fair. If the developer doesn't put any effort into avoiding misunderstandings like that, they can't really complain about this situation.

Really, I am not surprised this got taken down. I don't know anything about the actual content of this game, and I don't particularly want to know more, but if you want to publish your game on a platform like Steam, you don't put lines like that in your description.

A good example why you shouldn't trust companies that are only focused on making money.

I tried reading the oneshot About the Reckless Girl Who Kept Challenging a Reborn Man Like Me because I was intrigued by its high rating on NU, and it didn't disappoint. The morale of the story is actually pretty simple, but at the same time it's something I still can't make myself accept to this day. Recommend for younger readers (below 25, I guess).

I thought it's pronounced similarly in Italian, or am I wrong? Exactly. I already mentioned it earlier in this thread, but I'll repeat myself: I think this route should've been used in a different VN. It's good by itself, and has some great moments, but considering the type of VN Grisaia is, it looks weird. Also, I like the alternative interpretation more (can't use spoilers on a phone, so I'll leave it at that).

I liked it. I think it's one of the best vns ever made, but it's clearly not for everyone.

Don't do that. First, download and install WinRar. Next, right-click on the first file and click "Open with". In the menu check "WinRar" and click "OK". If WinRar doesn't appear there, check "Look for another app on your PC", navigate to the folder where you installed it (it should be Program files), then the the WinRar folder, click on WinRAR.exe and press OK. It should work. In WinRar, press "Extract to" and then press ok.

What are the names of the original and the new files? Edit. @infel, most likely, you just need to copy all the files (the original and the new ones) into the same folder and try opening them again. I assume that you are using the native Windows app for opening zip-files.

The files have something like part1, part2 and so on in their names, right? If so, do what @Stormwolf says.

Honestly, I don't get why people care about voices so much. To me they are always a nice addition to a story, but not a necessary one.

The Witch's House is much closer to how horror supposed to work, but I won't spoil it if you haven't played it yet. Though storywise I prefer Ib and Mogeko, due to various reasons.

I meant, it makes zero sense not to mention that the trap material was removed. As for that, it is probably another case when one part of the company doesn't know what the other part does.

I prefer Yosafire 'cause she's so cute, but Rawberry is great too! I especially like her special effect during battles.
